what i usually do with this kind of situation is wear two pull-ups at a time, one over the other. that way, when you have to change, you can just pull down the outside one, rip the inside one off, clean yourself off, and then pull the 2nd one back up. its really a lot simpler than it sounds. hope this helps :)

you could instead of using pullups use the tena flex ultra's they have almost the same capacity as a normal brief but are easy to put on while standing, thats just my two cents thrown in.

I'm going to be taking a 6 hour flight from west coast to east coast soon... I hope I dont poop my diaper while on the flight. I will definatley wear a bambino. It'll be kidna funny cuz my person sitting next to me will hav eto go at least 1 time if not 2 times to the bathroom and I'll be sitting there the whole time. Theyll either think I have a bladder of steal, or am in a diaper.

If i did poop, i would sit in it not even try changing cuz eww, i'd wind up getting it on my hand or something. IF the person next to me or around me had a problem i'd be like "look, unless you want to change me, leave me alone its to difficult to change int hose small places." And besides I have a disability not related to diapers, but still, hopefully people would just be cool about it. I also worry now days about going through check points wearing a diaper cuz of the latest stupidity of the so called "underwear bomber"

Oh well. *sighs*

Hey I was wondering, would it be okay if your wearing a coat and there's a big enough pocket to store a diaper in to leave one in there and use it if necessary? Or would there be the possibility of having it taken or something?

Thank you for the nice post - good advice on an important issue.

One thing though - in my experience pull-ups are a nightmare to put on compared to all-in-ones, particularly in confined spaces like many public bathrooms in general and airplane bathrooms in particular.

Why? It may be because I am male and do not wear skirts, but in order to put on a pull-up, I more or less have to undress to put it on (trousers/jeans off, shoes off and any additional underwear off), while a regular all-in-one diaper with tapes can be put on with the jeans/trousers pulled down to the thighs/calves.
It is easy to take pull-ups off since we can just rip them apart, but putting on a fresh one is a very different matter.

However, I can certainly see that it is easier when wearing a skirt, so I guess this is an advantage for girls/women (and the occasional man wearing a skirt or kilt).

All the best,
Espen :-)

Thanks so much for the post, I am often on 10-12 hour flights, and i'm a very heavy wetter and have had leaks around the 5th hour mark with Abena X-plus (sitting down); sometimes I do mess myself, and usually I would just sit in it until I got off the plane with my fellow passengers asking their neighbors why their area of the plane had become particularly odorous.
