A poopy diaper is exactly that – a messy, stinky, bacteria-filled, and so on diaper. I have lately read so many posts about how people enjoy sitting in their poopy diaper for hours on end because they love the feel. I will be the first to admit that its a nice feeling for a second and then knowing your going to get changed…BUT, that is about where it stops. I do not like sitting in a messy diaper for very long and usually want Peter to change me fairly quickly. It for one gets uncomfortable after awhile and it stinks. Now, I am sure there are some people out there that love to “bask” in the smell of a messy diaper but I am not one of them.

It has given me massive diaper rash in the past and I am not a big fan of that. Plus, I know in public I am DEFINITELY not one to like walking around in a smelly diaper. It is just not me. It is not that I am really humiliated or anything – its just not appropriate and rude to others I think for them to have to smell me/you. Common courtesy I guess. Plus, the health factor – feces has a lot of bacteria in it that can spread obviously to other areas if it “comes out” or you contact it somehow.

If you are going to do “messy play” then please use a LOT of vaseline and baby powder because it is going to cause some massive diaper rash after you wait awhile. I just think the health aspects do it for me. I am a health nut so sitting around in a messy diaper is just NOT ME. Just because we engage in this sort of thing does not mean we have to be immature, stupid, or unsafe about it. Treat your body right so that you don’t get yourself sick or at the least get a really uncomfortable diaper rash.

Sorry, I know random post – but I have just been reading so many posts lately on people saying how they love to sit around for hours in poopy diaper and I just can’t fathom doing that on multiple levels unless I absolutely had to. There is the obsessive cleanliness aspect to me, uncomfortable, smelly, and then the health factor that all I guess made me just want to rant about this. Maybe I can persuade some of you to maybe reduce hanging around in a messy diaper from a couple hours to maybe 30 minutes…that would be a health victory.

So, I figured I would make a post about wet diapers and clumping that happens in some poorly made diapers. In many store brand and poorly made diapers you get something called clumping where the urine causes the material to clump and you lose that nice soft protective cushion in the diaper and it turns into this rougher clumpy mess in the diaper. I have posted a picture of an Attends Diaper below that I wore a while ago after I had wet it…you can see the clumping in the bottom of the diaper.

I hate clumping which is precisely why the majority of the time I prefer to wear premium adult diapers instead of cheaper made diapers. You probably have noticed clumping before if you wear a lot of store-brand adult diapers. Clumping does eventually happen in premium adult diapers as well but it takes a significantly longer period of time and usually by that time you have probably wet the diaper about 3 times before you even notice any sort of clumping at all.

I just always hated the feeling of the clumps and it also significantly reduced the absorbency as well. Plus, maybe it is just me but when you can actually see the clumping from the front and bottom of the diaper from the outside it looks unattractive to me and sort of ruins that “look” of a nice clean white thick adult diaper. Maybe its just me though. Anyways, just me rambling.

One of the most important factors I take into consideration when buying adult diapers is how they perform when it comes to chafing. No matter how absorbent or cute or whatever the diaper is, if it is going to cause chafing then I am most likely not going to use it. I am a very active person and I cannot afford to have chaff problems on my crotch and butt area all the time. Most diapers do OK with not chafing until they are wet. Wet diapers are the epitome of causing chafing problems because that added moisture against your skin plus the continual rubbing of plastic or cloth will cause chafing. So, below are some of my “facts” and tips that I have developed to get a diaper that does not chaff (as much).

Buy adult diapers that do not sag very much when they are wet. Adult diapers have to be supportive, hence why most adult diapers have either 4 or 6 tapes on the diaper because they are there to hold up the diaper and provide support from sagging. In addition, other factors that help prevent sagging in diapers is the core of the diaper. If the core of the diaper is made up good compacted material then it will also help support the diaper from sagging. One of the main reasons besides the features and absorbency that Bambino Diapers are my main diaper is because no matter how much I wet them, they never seem to sag on me that bad. Hence, no chafing! Sagging is one of the number one causes of chafing with adult diapers because the further it sags down, the more its going to rub on your legs and cause chafing.

Buy adult diapers that do not have a clammy feel on the outside of the diaper when wet. Cheaply made adult diapers do not use premium plastic material and instead go for cost-saving plastic materials that do not contain moisture as well. Have you ever wet a diaper and could feel on the outside of the diaper that moisture feel…hard to describe…but, it is like you can almost feel the wetness through the outside of the diaper. You want to try to avoid diapers like these. Preferably, use diapers that use premium materials when making their adult diapers.

Overall, chafing can come down to a lot of things including your body shape, the way you walk, how much you walk, when you walk, how you put the diaper on, how tight it is, etc. But, there are certain things you can do when it comes to buying the correct adult diaper to minimize chafing. But, try a few diapers out and see how it goes. In NO PARTICULAR ORDER, these are the diapers that I recommend that I have found to be good at minimizing chafing:

Bambino Diapers

Abena X-Plus

Tranquility (not very absorbent but have a good fit too them)

Depends (probably the worst absorbency but never had issues with chafing)

Secure X-Plus

There are a lot of things I do enjoy about wearing diapers but of course there are those things that I would say are “icky” feelings. One of those that just happens to be waking up in a wet diaper. Though it does feel nice to wake up wearing a diaper, wearing a wet diaper that has been absolutely soaked gives me this icky feeling and I just want Peter to change me. He knows that I don’t like the feeling waking up in one so he makes sure to always check when we wake up to see if I am wet and he changes me pronto. God bless him

It is kind of ironic you could say because I wear diapers all the time and use them for both forms of incontinence (urinary and bowel) which in itself to most people is unsanitary. But, I am like the cleanest person you will ever meet. I wash my hands and use disinfectant all the time and I hate my room being messy and things out of place. Obviously, those are just a few small examples but I am a neat freak and a clean freak which is probably funny coming from someone that wets and messes her diapers which is probably the ultimate “unclean” thing to most people. But, to that I have a response! Urine is actually sterile and basically just water and salt – so its not really dirty (at least that is what I tell my neat freak self) Poop is very dirty and though I will admit that I enjoy the feeling of a messy diaper sometimes – I prefer not to be in one for more than an hour. Peter probably does not want me in one for that long either because then I typically get a diaper rash and he always says I complain about it…I don’t think I do that much but whatever.

Anyways, everyone has their quirks and preferences…I guess waking up in a wet diaper just makes me feel icky, hot, and dirty for some reason that I can’t explain. But, its such a great feeling to be changed and into a cool fresh diaper. Anyone else got any quirks or special preferences that you think may be different when it comes to diapers?

Wearing a diaper in public can truly be a terrifying and stressful situation at first. I know because I was forced to get used to it from a young age. Let me tell you that there are certain tricks that I have learned to tell myself that have really simplified the habituation process of getting use to wearing a diaper in public. Overcoming that fear and stress of the various things you worry about which may range from everything of “I might get caught” to “what if I wet or mess my diaper and someone notices”. These things can all be dealt with as long as you sit back and think about the possible situations, prepare yourself for them and mentally handle yourself appropriately. Here are my keys mentally with wearing a diaper in public:

Be Confident: You have to be confident when it comes to wearing a diaper in public. If you give off signs that you are uncomfortable or doing something ‘strange’ then others pick up on that. If you are wearing a diaper and carry yourself like its nothing and just normal than others will pick up on that as well. People will most likely associate it with a medical condition and it will completely be looked over and not a big deal.

You Will Never See Them Again: This is a trick that has helped me out immensely. Ok, so someone happens to spot you wearing a diaper…honestly, what is the likelihood of you ever meeting or seeing that person again? So, what is the worry? You have no relation to them, no ties or anything of that regard so what is the big deal? I recognize that to an extent if you are truly trying to hide it from a certain person (aka: parent) then use common sense in regards to wearing a diaper and what not.

Be Prepared with Supplies: Being prepared and having all your supplies ready for if something were to happen while wearing your diaper out in public will really help you better relax. For example, if you poop your diaper in public then you want to make sure you have an extra diaper, baby powder, plenty of wipes, and just in case a extra set of clothes in case the smell gets into your clothes for some reason. This can all be mitigated by wearing plastic pants which really helps cut down on the smell of a poopy diaper. But, being prepared with supplies is key.

Have a Plan: Formulating a plan before going out in your head will make you not only more comforted but also more confident. If you poop your diaper here, or wet your diaper there, or if someone you know comes up to you…these are all important aspects to take into consideration. But, if you address these situations beforehand and know how to react and what to do then it reduces down a lot on the worries and stresses.

These are some of my keys that I learned from and truly helped me get accommodated with not caring about another person seeing my diaper and what not. Obviously, it doesn’t come over night but with practice and keeping these keys in mind they can really help you get use to wearing diapers in public not only safely but more comfortably.

Haha I love the title of this blog post…honestly, I just came up with it off the top of my head. For those who don’t know what I mean when I say “Healthy” in quotes I mean bowel movements and wetting your diaper. This has been an age old question for some people that want to be able to use their diapers in regards to pooping in their diaper. What do I eat to poop in my diaper? I have seen this question multiple times. And, of course you can always do it the “unnatural” way by using laxatives and enemas (gross in my opinion). I don’t need to use any of that as incontinence takes it presidence over all if you catch my drift. But, here is what I have gathered from my experience in regards to the best types of foods for ‘me’ that have created “healthy” diapers. For those of you who are wondering, pooping is probably one of the healthiest things you can do for yourself – get regular! It not only helps with weight management but also in a way flushes out your body. But anyways, here are my tips that work for me.

Tips for Pooping in Diapers

Water, water, water – I can’t say this enough. You can eat all the fiber you want and foods you want but water is by far I have found the “stimulant” in my case. Carry around a Nalgene bottle or some other water bottle with you all day and just drink it slowly. Trust me, I don’t know the complete science behind it but proper hydration is going to help give you those “bulkier” and “easier to pass” types of defecations.

Cereal – for me atleast I have no idea what it is but when I make sure I eat my cereal in the morning before work I can almost always expect a poopy diaper early to mid-afternoon. Its not always perfect but cereal with skim milk seems to do the trick for me. Mind you I do eat unhealthy cereal as well and it does the same thing so you may try adding a bowl of cereal to your diet. Obviously ones with fiber may help a bit more.

Fruit – specifically grapes and strawberries have worked wonders for me. Even though I am incontinent, irregularity still can be a problem. Even though I can’t necessarily control when I am pooping – I know its important that it happens because irregularity can cause some health risks. But, if I add some grapes and strawberries to my diet it seems to really add that ‘bulk’ you could say.

Pasta for dinner – Another thing I have noticed is when I have a healthy dose of pasta for dinner I can almost always expect to have a filled diaper by morning. Pasta for some reason with me really helps me poop regularly.

AND OF COURSE: McDonald’s cheeseburgers LOL – yeh you can laugh all you want but I swear I don’t know what it is but within several hours for some reason its almost guaranteed I need a poopy diaper change from Peter. I know not the healthiest food but last resort in my case, LOL.

I am sure some of you may already have known most of this but this is my experience and what has worked descently well for me and I believe regularity is a crucial part of anyone’s diet whether it is trying to lose weight or just stay healthy in general. But, those are my tips so hopefully they will lead to many full diapers for everyone.

So seriously this day has been longer than anything! Peter and I took the dogs out after work around at a park a couple miles from our home and wow that was interesting. We got there and not only did they go crazy but they decided they wanted to go for a swim and ended up dragging me in with them! My diaper was very saggy and Peter refused to leave because he wanted to make sure that we got our walk in but secretly I think he just like watching me squirm and have a saggy diaper that people seemed to wonder what was going on

We are back now and I have finally dried off feeling much better! Now its time to get to work on some of the ties and make sure they are updated and fixed! I hope you all like the new redeisgned blog I know it is different than what i had before but I really really like it! I hope everyone does too!! Hugs!

I was thinking today because no matter how hard I try at work I ALWAYS leak. The thing is when a girl uses a diaper there i only one way she can pee, haha not to make anyone feel weird or anything. But since everything just goes striaght down into the diaper I ALWAYS leak. No matter how many diapers i put on and no matter how many booster I will leak no matter what! I don’t know what to do or if there is some way of solving this but it has become a problem. sometimes if I am sitting down it is not as bad, but then I tend to leak through the butt of the diaper. I guess I just am always going to be bad.. haha that’s what peter always tesll me!

Alright well shower time..Hugs!
