The New Bambino Diaper comes with a brand new and very cute print on it that I actually like better than any of the other prints on the market…it doesn’t look too fake but more resembles a baby diaper print which I like.  The best way I could describe it is that it looks like the “Hello Kitty” type graphic…here is a quick photo of the face of the diaper.

The first thing I noticed when I took it out of the bag besides the cute print was that it was definitely a bit thicker than the Bambino Classico, Classico, or Teddy.  We are not talking inches thicker so don’t go exaggerating what I am saying but its noticeable.  After I let it sit out for awhile you can definitely tell that it gets a bit thicker after it decompresses.  Many people are wanting to compare the thickness factor to other brands of diapers.  This point is not a big deal to me because I don’t like having a super bulging diaper that I can’t wear in public.  But, I would say besides a Dry 24/7 or Abena X-Plus…it is thicker than most every other diaper – especially after you let it decompress.  When I say it is not as thick – we are talking centimeters…negligible amounts basically unless you want to nitpick.  Here are a few comparison photos with a Secure X-Plus adult diaper and the New Bambino Diaper:

I left both these diapers out for over 24 hours and you can definitely see that the New Bambino is thicker than the Secure X-Plus diaper…again its not huge amounts.  I did notice a lot of thickness was in the SEAT of the diaper which I appreciate and I like the feeling of a little more padding in the seat of the diaper.  Honestly, the whole thickness factor is really sort of inconsequential to me as long as its not super thin.  The performance, absorbency, and fit are the most important things to me in a diaper and in those categories the New Bambino Diaper in my opinion beats it’s competition.

Absorbency: Bambino advertised that this diaper has more absorbency and they were not kidding.  While I am no scientist about it – I like to think I am a pretty good judge of diaper capacity since I wear full time.  The New Bambino Diaper definitely had a little more powerful absorbency than the other Bambino Diapers did and in my opinion, is the best absorbency diaper you can buy.  They use the most SAP in their diaper which is what does most of the absorption.  A lot of other companies want you to think their diaper is absorbent and use wood pulp or “fluff” in their diaper which doesn’t absorb much at all but makes a diaper look thicker.  Bambino uses a lot more SAP which makes the diaper the most absorbent diaper on the market.

Performance: I thought the performance was just as good as the other Bambino Diapers – maybe a little better in terms of wicking the urine away from you so as to prevent diaper rash.  But, it was a perfect combination with the absorbency I think to get maximum use out of this diaper.

Comfort: The fit is PERFECT on me now…the sizing is a little different (not much) but a little – just enough to make the fit perfect on me now! Which made me happy – I know some people are a little different sizes so this can vary but the fit is really important to me and is where this diaper shines in my mind as well.  Besides that, the INNER LINING of the diaper is SOFTER also in my opinion…not sure what they did but I compared the softness to the Bambino Bianco and while they are both soft – you can tell a difference and it feels really nice against the body.

Appearance: The appearance I think is really well done this time and I think they put a lot of time into it.  They are even having a naming contest of the diaper on their Facebook page where you can win free diapers from them basically.  I think the cuteness factor of the diaper is one of the best out there.

Tapes: The tapes have been as secure as the original Bambino Diapers – I have not experienced any tapes popping off but then again I am not squeezing into the diapers.  If you are trying to squeeze into the diaper or any diaper for that matter – tapes may pop but based on my experience and some others – this does not seem to be the case for the majority of people.

Price: While the price has gone up – this is probably the only negative but then again you can’t really call it a negative if they put more money into making the diaper better plus the fact that its a unique diaper.  The combination of better absorbency, better fit, performance, and a cute print on it make the price worth it to ME!  Others will of course feel different based on what they think is appropriate and their own preferences.

I have always been a loyal fan of Bambino Diapers because of their professionalism in designing these diapers.  They obviously put time into designing and making these adult diapers for the ABDL community exclusively.  I am not going to complain about that at all.  Their customer service is unmatched – especially if you have a problem.  If you have a problem with their diaper such as you received a defective product they are very quick and good about replacing that product for you if it occurs.  They also listen to their customers…hence this diaper.  We all wanted a different print – well we got one with a bit more thickness and absorbency.  They have always listened in my opinion – and if something is defectively wrong with any diaper – they will fix the problem.  You have to respect that in a company because not all of them do that.

Overall: The New Bambino Diaper is a phenomenal adult diaper with probably the best absorbency and performance on the market.  While it is not the “Thickest” diaper on the market – it is not too far off either.  The cute print appeals to me and is definitely a big positive as I think it is more babyish than a lot of other prints on the market.  I am not one too look for the thickest diaper visually but I care more about how a diaper absorbs and performs and when it comes to that – this New Bambino Diaper is unmatched in MY opinion.  The fit is perfect on me but this is highly variable to everyone else as some people will like the fit and others won’t.  Just how that part goes.  I think it is a GREAT addition to the Bambino Diaper line of products and if you can you should definitely check it out.  The price is a little bit more right now but understandable in my opinion considering the added absorbency, performance, cute print, and uniqueness of the diaper.

Note: These are my opinions and my experience with the diaper – everyone is going to have a different experience – good, bad, better, worse – I LOVE this new diaper – someone else might not or think its not worth it.  Definitely understandable as everyone is different and wants different things.  Overall, you have to give a company credit for giving good customer service and producing great products for our community in the end because not many companies do that.

This is obviously the package they came in…they arrived in a normal unmarked case and then they are designated in these clean looking white packs.  You can see the little teddy bear designs already on the front of the diaper panel.  I just love the look of a nice clean package of these.  They look so cute.  Great for organizing I must say because the package is a perfect size.  Anyways, onto the review:

Appearance: The new Teddy Bambino Diaper design is really a beautiful and cute design in my opinion.  The bears are not too big and not too small.  They really do a nice job of resembling a baby diaper but in adult size.  The front panel is also a “matted” type finish which I LOVE because its not just a tape anymore – its built directly into the plastic of the diaper.  The diaper all around is all white besides the front panel which is obviously the cute teddy bear designs.  Here is a picture of it up close:

So, as you can see the Teddy Bambino front panel is super cute atleast in my opinion.  Of course the diaper is all PLASTIC and NO CLOTH.

Absorbency: The absorbency in the new Teddy Bambino Diaper is phenomenal.  They actually improved the absorbency they said by adding about 10% more polymer to make these adult diapers even more absorbent then previous versions.  I think a lot of people would agree that these are probably the most absorbent adult diaper on the market that you can get. I am one of those people that I agree with that.  It is really hard to make this diaper leak…believe me I tried.  So, I give an A++++ to absorbency and say Bambino Diapers definitely improved upon the absorbency factor even more.  The diaper leaves plenty of room for defecation if you use the diaper to poop in or have bowel incontinence.  The seat of the diaper definitely allows for that which is a nice feature that not all adult diapers possess.

Comfort: The Bambino Teddy Diaper has about the same comfortable feeling as all the other Bambino Diapers.  The only thing that has really changed is the addition of more polymer for added absorbency and a new front panel along with new and improved stretch tapes (get to those down below).  The inner lining of the Teddy Bambino is super soft…not sure what they use to make it so soft inside but if you compare it to other adult diapers – it really is a lot softer.  Not sure how they do that buts its crazy soft!

Tapes: Bambino Diapers added all new tapes to the Teddy Bambino…they are stretch tapes which actually BEND with you and move with you so they add a bit more flexibility to the diaper which is nice for night time wearers who toss and turn in the night.  It also just adds a bit more maneuverability I noticed when I was wearing it.  That little extra stretch definitely adds a bit more comfort and flexibility to the diaper as a whole.  Plus, you can re-tape the diaper on as always if you have to take it off or undo it for some reason which is a nice feature as always.  I did notice a select few people having problems with 1 tape breaking on them and I have yet to have that happen but I think most people are agreeing that the cause is if you put it on too tight.  You don’t want to fully stretch the tape on as you tape up the diaper otherwise when it goes to actually try to “flex” it wont flex it all.  So, my advice is to not put it on super tight – this goes for all diapers…most tape problems are due to user error putting them on too tight and then soaking them – try not making it uber tight and it should fix any issues if you actually have any.  Here is a picture of the tapes:

Customer Service: As always if ANYTHING goes wrong with the diaper – Bambino Diapers will be pretty quick to help you.  You can call them or email them – and any problems you have with the diaper they typically respond to you within 24 hours if not a lot sooner…that has been my experience.

Overall: Overall I think Bambino Diapers took a big step in the right direction with the new Teddy Bambino Diaper.  It really adds a whole new product to the adult baby and diaper lover collection of adult diapers.  For me, this diaper is a staple in my collection and I will probably order a case of the Teddy Bambinos and a case of the Classico each month – peppering in some Biancos there too.  There really isn’t that much I would improve about this diaper…its more absorbent then I could probably handle and its plenty thick feeling and very babyish.  Its honestly what I always thought of as the perfect adult baby diaper.  I know everyone has their own opinion on what makes the perfect adult baby diaper – but this comes pretty darn close if not it for me.  Just thankful a company actually goes out of their way to make products like this for the adult baby and diaper lover community.  Here is a photo of the diaper itself:

Design: The design of the Secure Plus diaper, especially the new one, is great.  It is super cute and I really like the cute little hearts on the front.  The fit of the Secure Plus is very secure and fits great.  I feel very protected at all angles of the diaper.  The plastic is SUPER SOFT, and I love the crinkle this diaper makes.  Very soft plastic which is great for a lot of reasons, one being is that it will REDUCE chaffing on the skin!

Features: The features of the Secure Plus diaper are really quite amazing.  They feature a re-taping frontal landing zone to allow adjusting the diaper in case it needs the adjustment once put on.  Also, it has standing leg cuffs which is one of the best features ever created for a diaper.  It also has leg gathers to further prevent leaking.  These features rarely come with any other mid-level diaper which I think is what sets the Secure Plus diaper apart from a lot of other adult diapers.

Price: The price of the Secure Plus diapers are one of the better buys you can get out there for a mid-range adult diaper.  The features that come with this diaper plus overall quality and absorbency are phenomenal and especially for the price.  Plus, they offer Free Shipping with every order no matter what which is very nice!

Overall: I was super impressed with the Secure Plus diaper and will definitely keep a steady stock of these diapers in for when I don’t want to have a super thick diaper on but rather feel like a semi-thick and very good absorbent diaper.  The absorbency was quite impressive to me and very good compared to other diapers similar to it.  I would highly recommend many of you try them especially with the new cute designs.

The first thing I noticed was the cute color blue of the medium sized unique wellness diaper.  I will say the blue is certainly a change from the white color diaper that most are.  That is one of the positives when I am comparing the diaper to some of the premium diapers such as Bambino, Secure, Abena, etc since those are all white.  The diaper is definitely no where close to as thick as the other premium diapers and if I am going to be paying a premium price than I want to feel like I am getting a premium diaper in thickness.  But, I will say that they absorbed a lot which definitely would classify this adult diaper with the premium type diapers.  They don’t absorb as much as a Bambino or Secure X-Plus but they still hold a lot for being thinner.  The problem I have with the Unique Wellness Briefs is that they are so expensive compared to what you can get for your money.  You can get a lot better deal and more bang for your buck with other premium diapers.   But, again, this is all preference.  Some people want to avoid thickness but still want decent absorbency which the Unique Wellness Brief definitely offers.  The material including the plastic seems high quality and to have good protection.  The “crinkle factor” is definitely there, so they are not quiet if that is what you are going for.

Even after the corrected version I received, I still feel like they misrepresent their diaper look with their photos…here is the photo they provide on their website which makes the diaper look very thick everywhere but in reality its not as thick as it looks:

They make the diaper look so thick in that image but it is not that thick and you will be disappointed if you are expecting some super bulky-babyish diaper.  If I had to compare them to another diaper in similarity I would say they are about the same as the Secure Plus but without the cute design of the Secure Plus of course(not that Secure X-Plus).

The tapes are similar to the Abena diaper but I think the Unique Wellness Brief’s tapes hold significantly better than Abena’s tapes.  The tapes were very strong overall and actually felt a little more stable than the Abena but I guess I am just so used to the super secure tapes on the Bambinos.  They do have a wetness indicator on them which is nice to have if you like wetness indicators on your diapers.

In conclusion, they are a good premium adult diaper that I would rate as on the same level as a Tranquility ATN or Secure Plus diaper.  The absorbency of the diaper is very good as is with the other mid-upper level diapers such as Secure Plus or Tranquility ATN, Tranquility being the lesser of the group.  Again, it comes down to preference and what you are looking for.  For the price I would have to pay for them I could get a better deal and better diaper in the Bambinos or Secure or some of the other premium ones out there like Abena but that is mainly because of my bias and preference to the thicker and super premium diapers.  Its all preference obviously, but I will say for the price I expected a few more features OR better absorbency.  But, overall the Unique Wellness Briefs are just a good premium diaper that I think they would be a good backup diaper to your Bambino, Secure, or Abena diaper if you like the thicker ones or just a good premium diaper to switch things up with every once in awhile since they are absorbent and a different color.  (I am sure others have differing opinions) – but I am basing a fair amount of this off the price of the diaper compared to a lot of the more well-known upper echelon diapers like the Secure X-Plus or Abena X-Plus or Bambino Diapers.

Similarities: Both are phenomenal diapers that have probably the best absorbency of an adult diaper on the market.  I used both and probably wet 3 full times in each and they still could have held even more but I am not fully obsessive over keeping on a soaked diaper all day.  But, the absorbency in each is comparable and amazing.  Both the Bambino Diapers and Secure X-Plus have front and back waistbands which is really nice because it keeps the diaper close to your body.  As well, both diapers have standing leg cuffs which is probably one of the most important features in a diaper.  Both have 4 tapes total (2 on each side) that hold superbly and they can even both be adjusted (refastened) if need be multiple times.  Both are of roughly equal thickness and both have super soft plastic that is probably the softest of all diapers I have tried.  The thickness of both is probably in the Top 2 or 3 of the thickest diapers on the market so if you like that babyish feel, either diaper will do it for you.  Both are also plastic and have a nice crinkly sound to them that many people will like.

Differences: So, the most obvious difference between the Bambino Diapers and Secure X-Plus is the frontal tape zone (the print).  The Bambino Classico has a babyish print, the Bambino Bianco is an all white diaper, and the Secure X-Plus has print on the front but it is not babyish.  The Secure X-plus has a wetness indicator on the diaper while the Bambino Classico and Bianco do not.  The Bambino Diapers also differ in that the inner lining is all white while the Secure X-plus has a blue marking on the inner lining as shown below:

Conclusion: In the end, both our similar diapers but have their own qualities that make them unique.  If you want the babyish style then go with the Bambino Diapers Classico.  If you want the more professional and not as babyish style then go with the Secure X-Plus or Bambino Bianco.  If you like to have a wetness indicator then the Secure X-Plus is your diaper because it has one while the Bambino Diapers do not.  Either one you choose, you are getting the top diapers on the market.  There are also minor differences I would say in the fit that you could notice only if you try each one out yourself and try them on.

While this comparison is not super in depth, I know…it provides all the information comparative wise between the two diapers to hopefully help you make a decision which to go with.  I would rate them as the Top 1 and 2 diapers on the market and I use both.  They are the most absorbent and best fitting in my opinion…plus if you like the babyish look then you can’t go wrong with the Bambino Diapers.  But, if you are not so much into the babyish look then you can always get the all white Bambino Bianco Diaper or Secure X-Plus to have that more “professional” or “neutral” look.

The first thing you will notice about the Bambino Quadro is the softness of the material used in making the booster.  This is one of the main features that the Bambino Quadro brings to the table besides its superior absorbency, but we will get to that point later.  The material is probably the softest I have felt in the “booster” category and believe me I have tried quite a few of them.  When you put it on, the softness just presses against my bum and it is so soft.  I think this feature is probably an overlooked one because nobody wants any problems when it comes to chaffing or roughness down near the genital/butt area.  So, I applaud Bambino Diapers for addressing the issue and making the material VERY soft.

Second, the absorbency is of course phenomenal.  I have never seen a booster able to absorb so much.  I believe literally that if you combined the Bambino Quadro with a Bambino Diaper that you could probably go 2 days without changing your diaper.  Seriously, the combination of these two is huge.  Anyways, the Quadro has absorbency that will amaze you I think.  If you run out of Bambino Diapers and all you got around is some crappy Depends or store brand diapers – add one of these bad boys to it and it is like an instant absorbency boost that probably quadruples the absorbency of the store brand diaper.  The absorbency really amazed me so I felt I should make a post on it.

The scent of the Bambino Quadro is what makes it even more unique than any other booster on the market.  No other booster has that “baby” scent to it.  In my opinion, the scent is not too strong and not too light.  It is perfect for me.  It is not noticeable by just wearing the diaper around in public but if you have just the diaper on with the booster in it then every once in awhile you may get a little hint of the smell.  A good idea is to stick the boosters in maybe a drawer or closet – it gives it a nice little babyish scent that is not too strong.

The price of the Bambino Quadro appears on par with it’s competitors but with far superior features and uses for it.  Of course, you will have to try it yourself to see whether it is for you or not.  But, I highly recommend them especially if you tend to leak at night when you turn sideways or what not.  They really add a great deal of protection in combination with it’s softness to really give you that babyish and bulky feeling too.  If you have any questions about them, please do not hesitate to ask.

As you can see the diaper isn’t as compacted and is a lot thicker looking.  That is awesome that Bambino Diapers truly listens to their customers and is so focused on what they want.  Bambino Diapers proves over and over again that they can deliver an amazing product and that is why they are my favorite diapers I know everyone has their own tastes and this just happens to be mine.  But, I really must tell you though – you must try them as the new lining – well its VERY SOFT – like it feels amazing against my skin and on my bottom.  Its very nice.  And as always the performance of these diapers are absolutely amazing.  But, I just wanted to share with everyone this quick review of the what I guess I would call the “revised” Bambino Diapers.  Try em – your gonna love em!

Many people have tried the famous Bambino Diaper but still many have not and I want to take the time to make a professional and in-depth review of the diaper.  Before I begin I just want to say Bambino Diapers are the best ABDL diaper on the market today that incorporates not only the “babyish” pattern but also thickness and absorbtion.  There are other diapers such as Abena Abri-Form, Molicare, Secure X-plus, etc. but they do not incorporate that babyish feel to them like a Bambino Diaper does.

The diaper itself is plastic on the outside with a babyish tape across the front.  There is NO outer cloth covering, which is good because I hate that.  It is a nice soft plastic feel and in my opinion resembles the old style pampers diapers remarkably well.  When you tape the diaper on the elastic waistband helps to hold it to your body snug so it gives that nice comfortable fit to it.  It feels extraordinarily secure and comforting once on.  If you have never tapped into you AB side well then putting on this diaper makes you just want to curl up under a blanket with a pacifier or bottle…it really gives that babyish feel.

In regards to bulkiness it is bulky which some people like and some people don’t.  I LOVE the bulkiness of the diaper because in my honest opinion it is the perfect bulk.  Its not extremely bulky like the Abena Abri-Form X-Plus is but close.  It better forms to your body in my opinion.  Bambino Diapers hold a ton of urine and I am not going to sit there and measure exactly how much urine it holds but let me put it this way – as a woman (peeing straight down as opposed to a man who gets the extra absorption of the front of the diaper) I was able to wet it 3-4 times pretty thoroughly and it never leaked.  Obviously, I had to change after that because I did not want to risk diaper rash but its nice to be able to wet your diaper and not worry about leaks all the time.  And the big question of how it holds fecal matter (poopy) – perfectly!  It conforms to your body but leaves enough room for it to come out – I know, graphic.  But, it fits snug but the diaper is not so tight that your poopy can’t come out.  When it comes out, it sits perfectly in the seat of your diaper and I have never had it ever leak out the sides or anything.  Its also worth noting that it does remarkably well it keeping the smell inside the diaper better than other diapers I have tried.

Overall, Bambino Diapers are the real deal.  They cover almost every detail an ABDL person could want.  There is no stuffing bunching up which so many others diaper are famous for doing.  The diaper holds better than 95% of the diapers on the market, it has the plastic feel, the babyish look, good bulkiness, and of course their shipping is discreet and professional which is always important to many people.  I highly recommend these diapers.

I first tried the ABUniverse diapers back in the day when they first came out before I had really tried to many premium diapers.  This was around the time Bambino was first getting started as well and getting kinks worked out.  Here is a picture of the original ABUniverse diaper – I am not sure if they have changed since I have not bought from them in awhile.

These diapers are pretty absorbent and decently crinkly.  The absorbency is better than probably 90% of the diapers out there with the exception of Abena, Molicare, Bambino, and Secure. Some people like that crinkliness in a diaper which these do seem to have a decent amount of crinkle.  The fit is decent but the padding I don’t feel like is as padded as some of the other premium diapers.

These diapers do not have true leg cuffs to hold the diaper to your legs to prevent leaks and does not have a true elastic waistband which in my case I like because it holds it tighter to my body.  ABUniverse diapers do not have these while other premium diapers do.

The baby prints on the ABUniverse diaper are cute and the frontal design is neat how it is blended with the actual diaper and not just a tape.  So, if you like the babyish look then this diaper is definitely an option.

Overall, this diaper is definitely up in the premium category but my only MAIN gripe with the ABUniverse diaper is the price.  Many other diapers that are in my opinion better actually charge a lot less than ABUniverse.  Bambino, Secure, and Abena all run around $1.37 – $1.38 per diaper (mediums)  while the ABU diapers run well over $2 per diaper which is extremely expensive.  Other premium diapers in my opinion have better absorbency and more features than the ABU diaper and are actually less expensive than the ABU diaper so that is my main gripe with them.  I never had a problem with their customer service or shipping but then again that was a long time ago and supposively others have but I can’t speak to that.  To sum up, good premium diaper with good absorbency but WAY too pricey in reality for what you get compared to other premium diapers…but, then again if you like their babyish look and are willing to pay top dollar for it, then these diapers may be a good option or another type of diaper to carry in your diaper stash!
