I have received a ton of questions in regards to what I do about changing my diaper in public areas – such as malls, parks, etc. This post will hopefully clarify how I handle those situations and how not that noticeable it really is. There really isn’t that much difference. So, how I am going to approach this is name off some general public areas and tell you how I handle those for changing my diaper or having my diaper changed for that matter. I would also like to state to please be respectful of others around you – regardless of how normal myself or you may consider it – people can be offended and it is honestly not appropriate as an adult to just do it so everybody can see.

Mall: The mall is a place I visit often – I am a shopaholic. I have probably mastered changing at the mall. If I am by myself then I just go into a stall in one of the women’s public restrooms and change my diaper there. I just lean myself up against the stall wall for support as I pull the adult diaper up between my legs to change. Nothing fancy but I have probably mastered it so I can take off my wet diaper and change into a fresh one in probably under 3 minutes which to me is pretty good. If my diaper happens to be messy – well that is a more time consuming process where I have to break out my disposable wipes I carry with me in my purse. There really is no easy way to do it – I just sort of prop myself up against the wall or maneuver myself on the toilet and clean myself…graphic I know. Some nice malls have stalls where they are completely enclosed, meaning you can technically lay on the floor and nobody would know…if that is the case, bring a changing pad to lay on and then you can lay on the changing pad on the floor and change yourself. A lot easier if this is an option but it rarely is the case.

Park: I am a big outdoor type person so I love going to parks. Sometimes I actually sunbathe like I am on a beach in just a diaper and bikini top but that is usually only if I can find a semi-private area. The lure of sunbathing in a park in just a diaper is not as “appropriate” in my mind as it can be in a beach setting. But, anyways when I need to change in a place like a park it really depends on the park I am at. Some parks are really private and I will actually either change my diaper right there on my picnic blanket or towel or if Peter is there then he will do it for me. If its not that private then typically I try to find the park restrooms and just change my diaper there. I have to make sure I always bring my supplies because I always like to be prepared for the worst you could say…which believe me, it happens.

On The Road: I do like to travel when I get a chance which entails having my diaper changed in the car a lot of times on the side of the road. Usually, if I am just wet then we try to make it to store or something like that but I will say that when I poop my diaper then neither I or Peter can really bare it too long so Peter ends up changing me on the side of the road in the car. I don’t mind it too much, just make sure you have a blanket/towel/changing pad if you don’t want to get your seats messy.

Rest Stop: Rest stops can be a great place to change an adult diaper especially if you have someone that will change it for you. Many rest stops have family restrooms in which you can go into and have someone help you change your diaper. Peter and I usually go in there together and change our diapers if they have a family restroom with private sections in them. This is probably the easiest way. Some rest stops have private areas that you can go off to where nobody is around, look for these, and you can change your diaper there if you do not want to deal with a large crowd in the restrooms for some reason. Some rest stops can get busy so sometimes we opt to find a private area around the rest stop and change our diapers.

Beach: Changing an adult’s diaper on the beach is very similar to the park. Its just one of those things where it depends on how much privacy you have on whatever beach your at. Some beach areas have like nobody on it that we have been to in which case I just change my diaper right there on my beach towel. But, most beaches have at least some people on it – in which case I will be respectful and take a diaper out of my beach bag and walk up to a restroom or where ever I am staying and change my diaper there.

Changing an adult diaper in a public place is all about a moderation between your own comfort and respect. You have to respect the others around you and realize that even if you are comfortable with it, they most likely aren’t. So, please keep that in mind when you consider changing your diaper in public places. Changing a diaper is a must especially if you poop your diaper because serious rashes and discomfort can come from it so changing in a public place is inevitable. But, just keep in mind my experiences and be courteous to others and you will be fine with being comfortable wearing diapers out in public places without fear of having to change your diaper there. I recognize men can’t always just carry around a bag with a diaper in it like women have purses – all I can say to that is to either carry a backpack in certain situations or keep your diapers in your car – preferably in a trunk where it is typically cooler.

Do you ever get the feeling that you are living in a world that is more diapered than you think? I know I do and I think many would be surprised how common it may be. Do you find yourself glancing at people’s butts to see if its padded and then getting excited if it happens to be? If you do, you are a bonafide diaper watcher like many diaper wearers. Look at some of the diaper forums sometimes and websites sometimes and see how many registered members there are…it easily reaches into the tens of thousands of members. This does not include guests who never register and just lurk. It really makes you wonder how many adult babies and/or diaper lovers are out there. Take into consideration that many of the English diaper forums like DailyDiapers do not account for the thousands if not millions of ABDLs around the world that simply don’t understand enough of the forum to interact or register. Its a huge amount of people if you really sit down to think about it.

So, you know the chances of you actually spotting a diapered person are quite high when you break it down. Just think about this, when you go to the mall next time on a Friday or Saturday night…I can assure you that statistics show that AT LEAST 1 other person in that mall is wearing an adult diaper…and thats at the least. I may not have some huge calculation to prove it but I can almost assure you that this is the case from what I have seen in the real world and online.

I guess sometimes I get this feeling I am living in a world that a huge amount of people whether for need or pleasure are wearing diapers but yet its ironic because its taboo in so many places. Its not like some small interest group that has some fixation with pinky toes or something…I mean, we are talking about not only the incontinence community but also the ABDL community which encompasses a whole bunch of people. This is just me spoutin’ out random thoughts that I have had and wonder about…so, next time you are out in public, if it makes you feel any better – there is probably someone wearing an adult diaper in your vicinity somewhere! Mind-blowing isn’t it!

The ABDL world is a complicated one and consists of people from all walks of life. Everyone from doctors, lawyers, construction workers, teachers, and the list goes on and on. I for one look at the adult baby and diaper lover world as an extremely unique community that is completely different than any other community. There is not really a community out there that enjoys doing things that are similar to the ABDL world that is harmless in its purest form but yet can bring so much joy. But, this world of ABDLs has in my mind given themselves a bad name in many aspects and really has brought more harm than good to the community.

The ABDL world is first looked at in a negative light and associated with kids unfortunately. An outsider looking in automatically is going to associate diapers with kids and while this is unfortunate, it is understandable. What is not understandable and unacceptable in my mind is those people who enhance this image by engaging in activities that will only further this view. While I understand there are always bad apples in any group, I don’t think it does us justice when there are a whole lot of “borderline” apples that engage in forums and chat alongside or with people that are under the age of 18. I think this is wrong and however innocent it may be in many cases, it is not in many other cases. Unfortunately sites such as ADISC, while providing a decent community, is filled with underage kids as well as teenbabies and adult diaper lovers and babies. This setup is a breeding ground for disaster but also is not a good look for the ABDL community. The site basically is an invitation to anyone with a computer and internet connection to come “innoncently” talk to underage people about diapers…this in my mind is wrong and breeds negativity. There are many “good” people at places like ADISC but there are also many sickos, perverts, and the likes that harbor around this community because they know what it is and how to bend the rules to satisfy whatever need they want. That is why I highly disapprove of sites like ADISC and the likes of them and feel they really are a bad apple in the ABDL community.

Sites such as DailyDiapers are good wholesome communities that is specifically for ADULT babies and diaper lovers over the age of 18. They do not invite nor set up specific threads for underage people. DailyDiapers as a whole is great forum that has a lot of engaging people that are 95% of the age of 18 which is how its suppose to be!

The outside world does not understand what goes on in the ABDL community as well as someone like me or you. Which is precisely why the ABDL community as a whole should not give them any reason to misunderstand or interpret our community as what it is not. I know one thing is for sure and that is when I have kids one day, whether they wear diapers or not, I will never approve of them conversing in a chat room that contains adults when they are under the age of 18. I think it leaves a lot of open doors and is just wrong. The ABDL world is an ADULT world and while there are people under the age of 18 that are into the diaper thing – that area of things should not be promoted online in such a public chatroom open to anyone wanting to easily lie about their age to gain access to children. This is wrong.

I have always been a big supporter of the adult baby and diaper lover community and always will be. The first step in presenting ourselves to the outside world is to clean up the mess within our own “ranks” that does not give outsiders excuses to accuse the ABDL community as a whole of wrongdoings. While, this is no easy task, I think it is a focal point that should not be taken lightly if the ABDL community ever wants to take another step in acceptance on any level within the outside world.

This is just my two cents on the situation and while sites like ADISC are well moderated communities and active – I think ADISC presents a huge problem and are a sore eye for the ABDL community as a whole when they are actively harboring people that are under the age of 18 in their forums. If they would gear their site to over the age of 18 then their site would be fantastic but that is not the case and unfortunately I think it is just one of the many examples of the barriers and problems for the adult baby and diaper lover community of every getting past that horrible stigma to the public.

NOTE: While I understand people’s views may differ I do not want “trash” comments and I will not allow garbage and immature comments such as this which I just received:

“So you want over 18 sites where people can post hairy crotch shots or their miniature d*cks, or pick up chicks for diaper sex, or provide detailed instructions on how to make yourself incontinent so you’ll be pissing yourself happily ever after without control. I’m sure that is what this world needs!” (he also forgot to leave a fake email so some nice easy Google searches and I have a photo of him from a profile)

I thought about posting his photo just to prove a point but I won’t stoop to that level…Please refrain from immature comments AS WELL AS comments that you simply base off of here-say rather than fact.

Since I am sitting at work right now I figured I would blog about what it’s like wearing a diaper at work while I am actually doing it. Well, I must say it’s very comforting when you first get into work and know that you have a nice fresh diaper on that will protect you the rest of the day. Plus, it provides a little bit of a cushion for those people like me that are sitting a significant portion of the day. Also, I will say I am the type of person that sort of likes to hear that crinkle sound of the diaper when you get up or walking down the hall. I find it is loud enough for me to hear but not loud enough for really others to take notice.

For those of you scared to wear to work – I would say it’s almost impossible to be caught unless you try. Now, I am sure this depends on your profession but tucking in your shirt and typical work pants or jeans are typically good enough at concealing the diaper and most of the noise while allowing you to get the satisfaction of wearing a diaper to work. If you have any questions about wearing a diaper to work then feel free to ask.

Wearing a diaper to work in my opinion almost increases productivity because it just makes you feel good and when you are comforted and feel good then I find I do my work quicker and more efficient. Not to mention the fact it saves you trips to the restroom especiall if it is not conveniently available to you (I.e right across the hall). Just my two cents though – thoughts?

I wanted to link to an article that I thought represented the thought of adult diapers to many others around the world and the notion of how they are not such a “taboo” thing. Here is the link: Dongfang Billy Wears Adult Diapers . It is just a article about a famous artist that was diagnosed with leukemia and as a PRECAUTION was instructed by doctors to wear adult diapers. Honestly, how many doctors around here or much less people would be willing to wear an adult diaper out of precaution. Most people in the US won’t consider wearing an adult diaper unless they are practically leaking feces out of themselves or wetting uncontrollably everyday.

It goes to show that even someone who is in the public eye a lot is not afraid to let others know that he is wearing diapers. Yes, it is for medical reasons but the notion of how ‘free’ and ‘open’ he is about it goes to show the mindset of people in places like Asia. I know I am making a huge generalization here but when do you see articles like this in the USA news unless its riddled with negativity or involving some sort of crime.

He also is continuing to teach a fitness class even though he has to wear a diaper for it. And his reason…it will make him exercise basically. There is not even a mention of emberassment there. Most people if they have to wear a diaper will hide that diaper like they are hiding gold. The only way this wearing of diapers is going to stop being an extreme taboo is if the people who must wear diapers and who enjoy wearing diapers act like it is not a big deal – as well as not blatantly doing stupid acts such as robbing a store wearing a diaper (gives us all a bad name). Just thought the article was quite interesting and thought I would share incase you hadn’t heard.

Ever since I have worn diapers even though I do not care much what others think, I have always dreamt of ways to bring the adult diaper phenomenon into mainstream society. I truly think it can be done. I would love to be able to normalize in society to a greater extent the wearing of adult diapers. I think this can be done. Signs of it are already present in societies such as Japan wear adult diapers are way more normal for such practical reasons as long train rides. So, why not in other places?

Though most people will not say anything if they ‘catch’ you wearing a diaper as if they have any conscious or understanding they would most likely assume its for personal health reasons. But, I truly believe that the adult diaper wearing notion can be brought into the limelight for more practical reasons and deserve more understandings.

This not only requires a mindset change from people outside the community but also a ABDL community effort to represent adult diapers and the wearing of adult diapers in a more light hearted and practical manner. It will require a grassroots campaign from everyone from diaper product makers such as Bambino Diapers to the community of ABDL’s. I am determined to bring the ABDL community into a better light with mainstream society and I plan to make great efforts to do this. I will be keeping everyone updated on things I will be doing and have done on my blog so stay tuned because this is going to happen – I am determined.

Goodmorning my diaper loves!

I just got up a little bit ago, I know much later than I was supposed to be in at work but I had told them that I wasn’t coming in today because I was sick. tehehhee Guess I just needed a day off! Anyways, woke up and I had leaked all over my entire bed! I really didn’t mean to do that but I had gone to bed later than Peter last night so he hadn’t changed me like he normally does before I go to bed. I leaked all over the bed and since he is at work I guess i’m going to have to take care of this myself I just finished changing my diaper now im about to wash my sheets and I think im going to to go and try to find a pad to put down underneath my sheets from now on in case this happens again so that it doesn’t get on my mattress!

It’s a beautiful day outside so I think im going to do some gardening today! And maybe take my dogs for a walk! Peter enjoys when I garden because I sit outside in some old shorts and a sports bra (if it is warm enough) and have my diaper hanging over my shorts! hehe so hopefully he’ll come home for lunch while I am gardening!

Well off to start my day! I hope everyone has a great day and I will post again later..

I know this is a crazy title but I Just wanted to share another thing that I really love! All weekend when I was out I made a point to wear some of my favorite tight pants, you know legging type things. I think it is the greatest feeling to walk around and be able to see the diaper outline through the pants! Of course I also like to show it in the back by lifting up my shirt but there is just something about the outline of the diaper that I absolutely LOVE!!! there is also the added bonus that it makes my butt look oh so much nicer hahaha

I have to say those are my favorite things to wear with a diaper! That and short skirts to that you can sometimes see my diaper! nothing trashy or anything but I just love to wear things like that with my diaper! Do any of you have anything favorite you like to wear when you are going out in your diaper? I always love hearing new ideas cause sometimes I like to go and try it out myself!

Have a great Monday!

Wearing diapers for many of us is not a need but a want, which is completely fine. If it is what makes you feel comfortable, secure, etc. then thats fine. But, the point has come to my attention that whether you wear diapers for your own personal health reasons or just because you want to does not give you the right to impose that life on others in the public. I have read many message boards where certain people complain to everyone else why they are so ‘scared’ to show off their diapers in public. Granted, everyone has their opinion but honestly what is the POINT of showing off your diaper in public? There is none…besides the fact that most likely it ‘turns you on’ somehow. So, basically your engaging in some sort of sexual fantasy in public?

Many people have professional lives outside of their private lives and do not want to be flagrantly flaunting their diapers. They (such as me) may not care if someone catches a glimpse or happens to see your diaper peeking out or what not because they may just assume its a disability or not a big deal. But, there is no need to go and ‘show off’ your diapers to the world. This was the case in a previous article about a diaper flasher in which he could now get in serious trouble with the law for such an act. Not everyone can afford to risk their professional and/or personal life by flaunting the fact that they wear diapers.
