Diapers don’t and should not define you.  They are merely a part of your life – one single part.  Once you realize that then you can start helping yourself.  There are so many things that define you and diapers are merely one part.  Everyone is unique in their own way and you should not let one or two things define your self-worth.  People are going to judge you every day of your life unfortunately and once you learn to not care so much what others think too much you can also start to help yourself.  You are BEAUTIFUL inside and out.  There are a lot of things out there 100 times worse what you could be doing such as drugs, drinking, etc.  Diapers can be a positive aspect of your life if you let it and don’t feel guilty for it being part of your life.  Where you can get yourself into trouble I have found is when you start letting it affect your social life and encompassing your thoughts.

Answer this question to yourself…do you find yourself wanting to stay in on a Friday or Saturday night so you can just wear diapers and mess around in them instead of going out with friends or something social?  If your answer to this is “yes” then you may need to reevaluate how you are handling the diaper aspect of your life.  You do not want to let something like this consume your life and keep you from being social and keep you from your relationships.  All these things have an effect on your sense of well being and confidence.

Life is just too short to beat yourself up over your looks or little nuances that you think are so different then everybody else.  Everybody has quirky things about them, not weird – but quirky.  Because what I define as weird could be totally different then what somebody else does.  But, quirky is a universal term where whatever it is could be “different” but not weird.  Different is a subjective term also but most people can define “different” from “weird” in their own mind.  The fact is, everybody has their quirks and how you choose to view your quirks whether it is diapers or anything else can have an impact on your self-worth and confidence.  So, starting today – take a look at yourself and find the positives in your life and start looking at your quirky things as something that defines you as unique rather than different.  Put a positive spin on it and be confident in yourself that God made you unique and you have a purpose.  You are beautiful inside and out…so be confident in yourself!

1. Relaxing in Diapers: There is something about diapers that acts as a relaxant.  Almost an diaper lover will tell you that there is nothing like putting on a diaper and lounging around the house.  It calms and comforts many people as it does me as well…even now.

Spice to Your Wardrobe: Diapers can surprisingly add a little spice to your wardrobe.  Many people like the little bulge that it adds to the back of their pants.  I personally think it adds something to some of my skirts and dresses because I not only like the look but it also makes me look like I got a little but more of a butt (flat butt alert over here).
8. Harmless: Being a diaper lover is one of those interests that is harmless…you are not doing anything illegal, harmful, or bad to yourself which is always a positive.  There are many interests that require doing something harmful, illegal, etc…but not being a diaper lover.
9. Always Something To Do: Are you bored? Nothing to do tonight? Diapers provide that extra dynamic that can spice up your night…strap on an adult diaper and immediately your interest is peaked.  Go to the mall and get that exhilaration of wearing a diaper in public.  It can always make a boring time into a more interesting time.
10. Increase Self-Esteem and Confidence: By embracing being a diaper lover and being different it enables you to become more comfortable with yourself and feel more confident in yourself.  This in turn can raise your confidence level which is always important in this day and age.

The approval is quite limited to only those that are neurological patients such as spinal cord injuries or multiple sclerosis.  This wouldn’t apply to the average woman or man suffering from incontinence.  But, I personally think this is a good thing even though I am not one of those people that believes in medicating up and drugs.  I am a very “natural” person and don’t like overloading my body with medications, drugs, etc.  I try to eat organically and healthy as much as I can so the idea of injecting Botox (which is really just a form of Botulism Toxin) – yes Botulism – the same thing that can cause paralysis from eating under-cooked meat, into my body is just absolutely never going to happen for any reason even if deemed safe.  But, I think for those who suffer from incontinence that have multiple sclerosis and other neurological conditions that this can be very beneficial to them when the least of their worries is putting a “safe” form of botulism toxin into their body.  Modern medicine has some major polar opposites in my opinion in that I believe that a lot of things will do more harm than good, especially in the long term, but then when it comes to modern innovations of medicine such as this that can provide relief for parents and individuals suffering from incontinence in disabled people – this can provide some significant relief.

You have to think about the benefits and ramifications this has for say the parents of these disabled persons.  By reducing the amount of urinary incontinence episodes of these individuals not only does wonders for the child or person but also can save the parents money in catheter changing costs and/or adult diaper costs.  It reduces the amount of times someone will use their diaper so reduces the amount of diapers that the parent has to pay for in the long term and thus saves the parent’s money.  I don’t know – I can appreciate the small benefits that people may not think of like that.

Just because I have embraced my incontinence (both urinary and fecal) and have learned to make the best of the situation and attribute it a lot to the person I am today does not mean I don’t think others should have to suffer if they do not accept it or find it a huge burden in their life.  I am all for individual choices and though I have made mine and would not change a thing – I am all about helping others if they want help even if they do not accept incontinence or consider it a meaningful part of their life like I do.  So, when I see little news bits like this – I can truly APPRECIATE the benefits that something like this can have on thousands of families in the United States who have children that suffer from incontinence that have neurological conditions.  I can just see the parents reading this same news and just getting a glimmer of hope that they can benefit from this.

I haven’t had any problems with the tapes yet as some people have stated but I could see where problems may arise with the tapes as they are not as secure as the Bambino Classico or Bianco or Teddy diapers…they are I guess what they call a “hook” type fastener which so far has stayed on fine for me. Think of it more as a really tight velcro. I think one of the key is making sure the tape is on the front of the diaper flat and not putting the tape on extremely tight. At least that is what has worked for me and I have gone through about 10+ of them without any tapes coming off or any issues. I am sure one of them will as I am a fairly active person and could see where one might just come off but so far they feel really secure to me and are my go to diaper at the moment since Bambino Diapers is restocking their mediums of Classico/Teddy/Bianco diapers.

On a random note – Amazon is now allowing you to trade in your electronics for Amazon gift cards…I think that is a pretty good deal.  I have a lot of old electronics laying around and I love Amazon so I am probably definitely going to do that.  Figured there had to be other people out there that always liked finding a good deal like me and trading in junk I don’t really use anymore for free money is always a good deal in my mind.

Yum, this bowl of Kashi with blueberries is so good.  Kashi + blueberries = love.  So, good.  Kashi has a lot of fiber in it which is really important to me.  There are so many benefits to fiber that many people I think look over but if you really do your research you will realize just how many benefits fiber really does have for your body.  Anyways, maybe I will do an informative post on fiber later.  I know there isn’t much interesting stuff in this post – but so goes life…I am not that interesting of a person in my mind.  It is summer time and I will have a bit more free time and I am planning to do something a bit different with the blog to maybe spice it up some but I am not that technically inclined so be patient with me as I work on it.

I think this is a really good move on Bambino’s part because there are a lot of times even myself wants to have one of each type of the diaper for whenever my mood is for a Classico, Teddy, or Bianco. There has to be others out there that get in moods where they just feel like wearing an all white diaper or moods where they really like the Classico or Teddy look. I know I do. So, this is definitely a plus to even the users of Bambino Diapers and not just newbies to their products. I haven’t yet ordered myself a case but I will be ordering them in the coming weeks when I make my usual case purchase. It will definitely be nice to have the variety all in one case at ONE price. Very convenient for me at least.

Anyways, if you have ordered the Variety case from Bambino Diapers or have any additional input on it – I would definitely love to hear it and I am sure some others would as well. I will be sure when I do eventually order the Variety Case to post photos and my thoughts on it…even though there really isn’t much difference besides the pure convenience of it and that you get a variety instead of just one kind! Anyways, hopefully everyone is having a good week – almost to the weekend!

Honestly, not sure what to make of this assertion. You would have thought SOMEBODY would have noticed a diaper or something odd during one of the games? Right? Of all the cameras going off and all the crazy movements in soccer – there was not a simple glimpse of anything remotely resembling an adult diaper? The only thing I could possibly think of as a possibility is he had to wear thin pullup style adult diapers and he wore them under the shorts with mesh in them and then made sure is shirt was tucked in at all times. That would be my guess if there was any truth to it. There is NO WAY he was wearing a diaper along the lines of Depends, Attends, or any other brief style adult diaper for that matter – the bulge or sound would just be too noticeable in some format for that many people to miss.

Just my thoughts on the whole Ronaldo diaper situation. What do you all think? Am I missing something, is there proof?

I hate clumping which is precisely why the majority of the time I prefer to wear premium adult diapers instead of cheaper made diapers. You probably have noticed clumping before if you wear a lot of store-brand adult diapers. Clumping does eventually happen in premium adult diapers as well but it takes a significantly longer period of time and usually by that time you have probably wet the diaper about 3 times before you even notice any sort of clumping at all.

I just always hated the feeling of the clumps and it also significantly reduced the absorbency as well. Plus, maybe it is just me but when you can actually see the clumping from the front and bottom of the diaper from the outside it looks unattractive to me and sort of ruins that “look” of a nice clean white thick adult diaper. Maybe its just me though. Anyways, just me rambling.

Just a quick tip for those who wear diapers out in public or any where I guess for that matter.  If you want to wear a thicker diaper like a Bambino, Molicare, Secure, etc.  and not deal with it being so tight on you and puffy while wearing it…first, when putting the diaper on make sure after taping it up to stand up and readjust it if you put the diaper on laying down so that it is better fitting.  Roll the top of the diaper down so that it does not bulge so much in the front and then push on the front of the diaper and the back to try and “loosen” the diaper up to be a bit less “bulgy” and also to release some of the air trapped in it.  Then, place a bit of vaseline on the areas in the crotch to help the diaper slide and not chaff or cause any uncomfortable marks in that area.  That is sort of my process for diapering a lot of times…it helps *Some*.  It can only help to a certain extent but when going out on a night like tonight where I REALLY don’t want to have leakage issues and uncomfortable issues I wear a thicker diaper (Bambino) and follow those steps almost religiously and it helps me at least.  Not sure how that all plays out in the “man part” department as I know that can add an extra “obstacle” I am sure to the bulge.  Not sure what to tell you there.

You can argue with me and make yourselves feel better all day long until you are blue in the face but the fact is that sites that ACTIVELY advertise themselves as conversational forums for younger than 18 (teenagers) are wrong in this day and age and ESPECIALLY for the ABDL community.  Of course I am referring to ADISC – who blatantly caters to the ‘younger’ crowd which in MY opinion is wrong…if you want to argue, trust me you are wasting your breath.  Now, some people will say but sites like DailyDiapers has teenagers on it as well – which you are CORRECT.  BUT, there is a big difference – DailyDiapers does not cater nor actively advertises themselves or is known for hosting younger than 18 year old content whether it is discussion, photos, etc.  That is a big difference whether you like it or not.

Everyone is correct in saying that older people will sometimes say they are younger and younger people will lie and say they are older just to gain access or what not to a forum.  That is the internet, unfortunately.  But, the difference comes from a site that caters and harbors that and a site that does not.  There in lies my problem with sites like ADISC…of course, people are around that age don’t understand that yet and appreciate a place like that but don’t fully comprehend the dangers that can occur there both illegally and morally.  Not to mention it CAN make bad press for the ABDL community.

So where do teenagers that wear diapers or what not fit into the whole ABDL community online?  Good question…because I honestly have no idea.  I recognize they need a place for support but I don’t condone sites that actively harbor content on the internet that are geared to underage people in the ABDL content…period.  There are too many risks, liabilities, etc etc.  Maybe, it is the materal instinct in me that I feel so strongly about this – I have no idea but I just think its wrong.  It only takes one bad apple in a forum to cause some really terrible things and sites that promote themselves actively for teenagers to converse in an adult baby type context are just breeding grounds for something bad to happen.  Maybe, nothing bad as ever happened from a site like ADISC or maybe it has?  Maybe you haven’t heard about it? Does that matter whether you have or haven’t? Do you want to take that risk?  These are questions you should be considering.  Of course, there are a few other sites similar to ADISC, but it is just one of the bigger ones.

I am sure there will be some backlash from this post like there always is both here and on there site.  I am sure they will say the same old thing about me as they always do and that is fine…it becomes comical to me that some of them actually think I care or it affects me.  As always, I say what I feel and I am forward – you don’t like it – well that’s fine.  Facts are facts…places that in anyway cater to those under the age of 18 years old especially in the context of something like ABDLism – will only be a matter of time if it already hasn’t happened that something regrettable, unfortunate, and disgusting will happen.  Bring on the arguments
