The adult baby community in my opinion is comprised of some extremely intelligent people. I have talked with people that are physicians, lawyers, and yes even government officials. As a whole I think our community is extremely bright which is a positive and a negative thing in my eyes. Because a lot of times with intelligence comes caution and with caution comes speculation and with speculation comes well…insanity and paranoia. That is not to say that our community isn’t also filled with people that probably don’t know how to count to 10…no offense to those people…but it is the sad truth. But, I think it speaks volumes to our community that some of those most intelligent people in the world engage in this activity. This isn’t some rogue “fetish” in my opinion and as long as we are on my opinion – I would say that adult baby and diaper lovers are one of the BIGGEST communities in the world whether those people that share that interest want to admit it or not. There are those that engage in the community which number in the hundreds of thousands around the world if not reaching into the millions with those that are not as open and communicative about it. This community is larger than most people think. I am amazed sometimes after scrolling through some of the big boards the intelligence that does radiate through in the adult diaper community – you can hear it in the way people type and articulate there statements. Usually, which is followed up with a lot of times one of the most idiotic of statements to balance it out. But, to those out there that are educated and recognize the civil and intelligent people within the community – you do not go unnoticed. I surely appreciate much of the diaper community that tries to act civilized in their conversations.

I just cannot tell you how proud I am to be part of the adult diaper community. Yes, there are those that really do bring down this community sometimes but overall I am proud to be part of this community. In my opinion, we are unique and there is no other community out there like the adult babies and diaper lover community. You ever get that feeling when you are home alone in maybe just a thick diaper and t-shirt and you walk by the mirror and notice that perfect little “pouch” in the butt of your diaper…you know what I am talking about. It gives you that real babyish feeling and comforting feeling. At least for me it does. And, it just causes a rush of emotions. It just got me thinking just of how proud I am to be part of this community and how great it is. Cheesy…I know but its the truth.

There are so many times before I go out with friends that I just get excited about what I am going to wear that night and which diaper I am going to choose…this doesn’t happen all the time but it does happen when I get in those moods. I cherish those moments. I guess this is one of those “intelligent” moments I am having where I am trying to articulate somehow what I’m feeling and its not working to well…lol. Hopefully, some of you catch on to what I am meaning and can make sense of it in your head. I guess I have sort of strayed from the original title of this article. But, I was reading over some of the boards lately – just browsing – and you read some idiotic statements and then you read some really calm, intelligent, and concise postings and you wonder who is on the other side of that post because its insightful and intelligent. I am one who can appreciate those people that manage to maintain such civility in the conversations in the adult baby community because I feel it adds credibility – maybe not so much to outsiders – but to those who can appreciate others acting mature and truly trying to engage in a conversation and make friends and be nice. There are so many people out there that I feel would be better off if they just tried to act more mature, control their hormones, and act semi-intelligent when they talk and they may just meet some truly nice people and actually make friends. I am not trying to be mean at all…I just get emails all the time asking what someone can do to meet other people and I am not passing judgment on those in particular people that email me but I know for a fact that some of them have to be these same people posting on these adult baby forums in rude, unintelligible, and narcissistic ways and I just can’t help but think that if they just lightened up a little and acted a tiny bit more mature they may have a chance of making a real connection with someone if that is what they want (maybe that isn’t what they want?).

But, that isn’t to say the intelligent people don’t come without their flaws too. With intelligence comes that paranoia because they actually CARE who is on the other side of that computer rather than the words on the screen. So, they are always thinking about who they are truly talking to. They start questioning every statement, analyzing it, and trying to make offhand judgments based on the words on a screen. You may think to yourself…well aren’t I judging those adult baby members that talk unintelligible? No, I don’t judge so much on the words but more than attitudes in those words. There are some people that don’t exactly type or write very well but you can tell what they really mean and their attitude through what they type…you can see the benevolence in their writings. But, anyways the intelligent people question everything…as did I along time ago…now I just don’t care. If you don’t want to prove to me who you are – fine I don’t care. If you want to lie about who you are to me – that is your free will and I can play along with that if I have time at the moment because it can be entertaining sometimes. I am not going to get all worked up if someone wants to lie to me about themselves. I have everything I want in life on the other side of this screen – a loving husband, a home, great parents, great friends, diapers, and more – I don’t feel the need to judge others and waste my time tracking down who is being honest and who isn’t. Its unfortunate that goes on in this community but I suppose its a necessity because there are so many people that aren’t truthful about who they are.

Anyways, I know this post is long but its just me trying to articulate things that I think make up a big part of our community and that which makes us so unique. I will say this – neither group is wrong in my opinion for how they act – they balance the community. All that I can suggest to the adult baby and diaper lover community that may help us all is to the rude, unintelligible and mean people…maybe try to be a “tiny” bit more mature in your conversations and think about what you say before you blurt it out. And to those intelligent people out there…maybe just try to tone down the paranoia a bit and enjoy the adult baby and diaper lover community more instead of looking at everyone with a detective eye like someone is out to get you. Overall, everyone just get along

I am done rambling for the night and I am sure everyone is probably either like wow that was really well thought out or some of you may be like “wtf” or what in the world just happened…lol all views are understandable. Just in one of those creative typing moods I guess…now that I think about it – it sort of is that time of the month for me – maybe its the hormones making me a bit extra creative?

I finally got my hands on Bambino Diapers new Teddy Bambino Diaper. I thought I would do a nice review of the adult diaper. It really is an amazing diaper and I absolutely love the new design…its super cute. So, first I will start off with a picture of the new Teddy Bambino Diaper:

This is obviously the package they came in…they arrived in a normal unmarked case and then they are designated in these clean looking white packs. You can see the little teddy bear designs already on the front of the diaper panel. I just love the look of a nice clean package of these. They look so cute. Great for organizing I must say because the package is a perfect size. Anyways, onto the review:

Appearance: The new Teddy Bambino Diaper design is really a beautiful and cute design in my opinion. The bears are not too big and not too small. They really do a nice job of resembling a baby diaper but in adult size. The front panel is also a “matted” type finish which I LOVE because its not just a tape anymore – its built directly into the plastic of the diaper. The diaper all around is all white besides the front panel which is obviously the cute teddy bear designs. Here is a picture of it up close:

So, as you can see the Teddy Bambino front panel is super cute atleast in my opinion. Of course the diaper is all PLASTIC and NO CLOTH.

Absorbency: The absorbency in the new Teddy Bambino Diaper is phenomenal. They actually improved the absorbency they said by adding about 10% more polymer to make these adult diapers even more absorbent then previous versions. I think a lot of people would agree that these are probably the most absorbent adult diaper on the market that you can get. I am one of those people that I agree with that. It is really hard to make this diaper leak…believe me I tried. So, I give an A++++ to absorbency and say Bambino Diapers definitely improved upon the absorbency factor even more. The diaper leaves plenty of room for defecation if you use the diaper to poop in or have bowel incontinence. The seat of the diaper definitely allows for that which is a nice feature that not all adult diapers possess.

Comfort: The Bambino Teddy Diaper has about the same comfortable feeling as all the other Bambino Diapers. The only thing that has really changed is the addition of more polymer for added absorbency and a new front panel along with new and improved stretch tapes (get to those down below). The inner lining of the Teddy Bambino is super soft…not sure what they use to make it so soft inside but if you compare it to other adult diapers – it really is a lot softer. Not sure how they do that buts its crazy soft!

Tapes: Bambino Diapers added all new tapes to the Teddy Bambino…they are stretch tapes which actually BEND with you and move with you so they add a bit more flexibility to the diaper which is nice for night time wearers who toss and turn in the night. It also just adds a bit more maneuverability I noticed when I was wearing it. That little extra stretch definitely adds a bit more comfort and flexibility to the diaper as a whole. Plus, you can re-tape the diaper on as always if you have to take it off or undo it for some reason which is a nice feature as always. I did notice a select few people having problems with 1 tape breaking on them and I have yet to have that happen but I think most people are agreeing that the cause is if you put it on too tight. You don’t want to fully stretch the tape on as you tape up the diaper otherwise when it goes to actually try to “flex” it wont flex it all. So, my advice is to not put it on super tight – this goes for all diapers…most tape problems are due to user error putting them on too tight and then soaking them – try not making it uber tight and it should fix any issues if you actually have any. Here is a picture of the tapes:

Customer Service: As always if ANYTHING goes wrong with the diaper – Bambino Diapers will be pretty quick to help you. You can call them or email them – and any problems you have with the diaper they typically respond to you within 24 hours if not a lot sooner…that has been my experience.

Overall: Overall I think Bambino Diapers took a big step in the right direction with the new Teddy Bambino Diaper. It really adds a whole new product to the adult baby and diaper lover collection of adult diapers. For me, this diaper is a staple in my collection and I will probably order a case of the Teddy Bambinos and a case of the Classico each month – peppering in some Biancos there too. There really isn’t that much I would improve about this diaper…its more absorbent then I could probably handle and its plenty thick feeling and very babyish. Its honestly what I always thought of as the perfect adult baby diaper. I know everyone has their own opinion on what makes the perfect adult baby diaper – but this comes pretty darn close if not it for me. Just thankful a company actually goes out of their way to make products like this for the adult baby and diaper lover community. Here is a photo of the diaper itself:

If you have any questions feel free to ask me and I will try to help.

Diaper lovers in particular are a unique group of individuals in my opinion. There are all sorts of people out there that love other physical objects such as stuffed animals, toys, shoes, feet, etc etc but when it comes to diaper lovers they stand out. The mindset behind a typical diaper lover is not of anything sexual but more of comfort and security. Ask any diaper lover why exactly they love diapers and the first thing the comes to their mind is not sexual but of a feeling they can’t really explain but only use words such as comfort, security, and relaxing to describe their love for diapers. This sets apart the group of diaper lovers from many other groups out there.

Understanding a diaper lover really isn’t that hard if you can keep an open mind and be non-judgmental. The key to understanding is letting go of preconceptions and be more open-minded and willing to understand. The average diaper lover does not wear diapers or “fixate” on diapers for sexual reasons but merely an object that calms or relaxes them. I know, personally, that even being incontinent – putting on a diaper has a overwhelming relaxation effect on me and calming effect. This bodes true for many other diapers lovers. They are not looking to harm anyone or interfere with other people’s lives. They do want others to understand and not look at them like a freak.

A diaper lover by him/herself is separate from an adult baby. Some diaper lovers are adult babies and some are strictly just diaper lovers (DL’s). A diaper lover merely just likes the act of wearing diapers or participating in diapers while an adult baby enjoys a lot of the “processes” and activities behind acting like a baby outside of diapers. Many diaper lovers usually have some sort of percentage or degree of “adult babyism” in them.

A diaper lover can be your best friend, a coworker, a boss, governor, doctor, attorney, etc. You would just never know it because diaper lovers are typically more discreet than an adult baby. What if you found out your best friend of 20 years wore diapers? Would you automatically classify him as a freak or would you be a lot more understanding an it not be as big of a deal? Well, that is how the average diaper lover wants to be looked at from an understanding perspective – they want you to understand them the same way you would if you found out a best friend wore diapers – more respect, more understanding, and more care rather than automatic judgments.

The adult baby and diaper lover community is huge. I have personally done research in comparison to just how popular the community is in regards to other “communities”. The ABDL community is unique and I think is a grossly underestimated community that many business have yet to take advantage of. The few ABDL specific companies that at least gear their products to ABDLs are limited but are typically very good. Some companies do not flat out say they are adult baby and diaper lover supporting people but they advertise within the community and their products are made on the more “adult baby conscious” mind in my opinion. For example, Secure Personal Care is a company that is not “advertised” as geared towards ABDLs but they are very ABDL friendly and many of their products cater to the needs of the ABDL community. The thickness, design, etc of their products are all assets many ABDLs desire. The same cannot be said for Depends because most of their assets in their diapers are made for the everyday incontinent user in mind which means less absorbent, thinner, etc. So, I devised a list of companies that I believe are very ABDL friendly in my experience of ordering from them:

Bambino Diapers: The best probably adult baby and diaper lover company on the market. They specifically and actively gear their products to the ABDL community and all their products are high quality. They probably came up with the official and most popular true “adult baby diaper”.

ABUniverse: Another actively ABDL specific adult baby and diaper lover business gearing many of their products towards ABDLs. While not as popular due to their history of poor customer service, not as high quality of products, and high prices – the variety they offer appeals to many that are willing to pay top dollar for more of the look.

Secure Personal Care: They actively advertise in the ABDL network but their products website gears towards the incontinence community. But, don’t let that fool you because their products are one of the most absorbent on the market and they have a really good selection of adult diapers in different absorbency levels. Their Secure X-Plus is famous for being super comfortable and highly absorbent in the ABDL community.

XPMedical: This site carries a large variety of incontinence products and is active in the ABDL community. They carry a lot of adult diapers than many ABDLs associate with as well as they are very ABDL aware and friendly.

Those are the main sites I have had experience with that are very ABDL aware and friendly when it comes to ordering and I am sure there may be a few others but these are in my experience and from what I have seen. I think it is important to support all these companies because they are what runs the adult baby and diaper lover community in allowing many of us to use great products instead of using the same old products such as Depends and Attends. These companies provide a great service to the adult baby and diaper lover community and I feel they should ALL be supported. If you haven’t tried ordering from one of these – you definitely should give them a shot. If you are looking for good prices on the most absorbent adult diapers on the market go with Secure Personal Care’s Secure X-Plus Adult Diaper or Bambino Diapers or you could try XPMedical….if you are looking for more of just the look of baby diapers and willing to pay a very high price for the look but lower quality and lower absorbency then give ABUniverse a try.

The competition in the adult diaper industry is more competitive than ever. Competition could not be more noticeable in the adult diaper industry as it is in the adult baby and diaper lover community where each diaper is inspected, criticized, praised, and analyzed to every little detail. Sometimes these analyzations can lead to over analyzing which can cause some major issues in similar/parallel reviews of adult diapers. The big guns in the adult diaper industry such as Secure Personal Care, Bambino Diapers, Abena, Molicare, and Attends try to attract certain certain cliques of the adult diaper users.

Bambino Diapers

Abena X-Plus

Secure X-Plus

ABUniverse Diapers

Unfortunately, many of the adult diaper manufacturers have started manufacturing their diapers without the ABDL community in mind leaving only a very select few of good adult diapers for the ABDL community to use and even the incontinence community. Attends was once an amazingly absorbent diaper that was soft, thick, and comfortable. Now, they rank up there with depends absorbency (poor) and their comfort is also poor in comparison to what it used to be. More and more adult diaper manufacturers are competing for the “quietness” factor by switching their adult diapers to cloth like outer coverings. This is much to the dismay of adult babies and diaper lovers as many of them like that plastic outer covering which is actually more expensive to manufacture than cloth (cloth is cheaper to manufacture). Even brands like Molicare have created the “breathable” adult diapers which essentially has less padding on the wings which means less absorption unfortunately. What all this points to is a competitiveness for incontinence users that HAVE TO wear diapers rather than those who enjoy the feel of an adult diaper. After all the incontinence community is much larger than the adult baby and diaper lover community.

The competition within the adult baby and diaper lover community for adult diapers is heating up. The main competitors that have come forward consist of:

While there are other major brands such as Molicare, Tranquility, and Attends…they are not actively competing for anywhere remotely the stock of popularity within the ABDL community. Each diaper manufacturer has some huge strengths and some weaknesses…some more glaring than others but nonetheless, they are each competing in some form for popularity. Here are some strengths of each company:

Bambino Diapers: Known to be the most absorbent adult diaper on the market as well as the softest inner-lining. Phenomenal customer support. Very focused on their reputation and producing flawless diapers. Using cutting-edge materials to add better absorbency, comfort, and softness. VERY focused towards providing products for the ABDL community.

Abena X-Plus: Known as one of thickest adult diapers because of the added fluff they add to their diapers. Great absorbency. Good customer support. Products readily available in stores. Serious tape problems is their only downside. Their tapes are known for not staying on and popping off easily.

Secure X-Plus: Similar to the Bambino Diapers features in many aspects. Super high absorbency, almost as absorbent as bambino diapers. Soft and comfortable. Geared towards providing the best adult diapers specifically to the incontinence community.

ABUniverse (Diapers and Products): Many products geared towards the ABDL community. Trying to create more products on a regular basis. Customer support problems. Good absorbency. Very focused towards the ABDL community with providing a lot of products the ABDL community. Shipping delays can sometimes be an issue with them depending on the time. Prices extremely high. But, you have to give them credit because they are trying to support the ABDL community even if their products are not on the same level as the other companies/products.

Competition is good and should be welcomed because it only makes the companies try to produce better and better products. Its unfortunate that there are really only a few big guns in the adult diaper industry that gear towards the ABDL community. The four companies listed above seem pretty geared towards sticking with plastic-backed diapers (a main staple in the ABDL community) which is a lot more than many other diaper companies can say as they have switched to cloth or are using cheaper materials. I would say Bambino Diapers is the front runner as far as the best adult diaper on the market in regards to features, absorbency, and technology used in their adult diapers…but Abena and Secure are close behind. ABUniverse is competing well especially with their new Cushy diaper but their problem is they don’t have the same absorbency (less absorbent) as the other diaper companies and their price is still too high as well as features are lacking from ABUniverse products. But, hopefully as time grows each company continues to get better and furthers the adult diaper competitiveness in both the incontinence and ABDL market.

The ABDL world is a complicated one and consists of people from all walks of life. Everyone from doctors, lawyers, construction workers, teachers, and the list goes on and on. I for one look at the adult baby and diaper lover world as an extremely unique community that is completely different than any other community. There is not really a community out there that enjoys doing things that are similar to the ABDL world that is harmless in its purest form but yet can bring so much joy. But, this world of ABDLs has in my mind given themselves a bad name in many aspects and really has brought more harm than good to the community.

The ABDL world is first looked at in a negative light and associated with kids unfortunately. An outsider looking in automatically is going to associate diapers with kids and while this is unfortunate, it is understandable. What is not understandable and unacceptable in my mind is those people who enhance this image by engaging in activities that will only further this view. While I understand there are always bad apples in any group, I don’t think it does us justice when there are a whole lot of “borderline” apples that engage in forums and chat alongside or with people that are under the age of 18. I think this is wrong and however innocent it may be in many cases, it is not in many other cases. Unfortunately sites such as ADISC, while providing a decent community, is filled with underage kids as well as teenbabies and adult diaper lovers and babies. This setup is a breeding ground for disaster but also is not a good look for the ABDL community. The site basically is an invitation to anyone with a computer and internet connection to come “innoncently” talk to underage people about diapers…this in my mind is wrong and breeds negativity. There are many “good” people at places like ADISC but there are also many sickos, perverts, and the likes that harbor around this community because they know what it is and how to bend the rules to satisfy whatever need they want. That is why I highly disapprove of sites like ADISC and the likes of them and feel they really are a bad apple in the ABDL community.

Sites such as DailyDiapers are good wholesome communities that is specifically for ADULT babies and diaper lovers over the age of 18. They do not invite nor set up specific threads for underage people. DailyDiapers as a whole is great forum that has a lot of engaging people that are 95% of the age of 18 which is how its suppose to be!

The outside world does not understand what goes on in the ABDL community as well as someone like me or you. Which is precisely why the ABDL community as a whole should not give them any reason to misunderstand or interpret our community as what it is not. I know one thing is for sure and that is when I have kids one day, whether they wear diapers or not, I will never approve of them conversing in a chat room that contains adults when they are under the age of 18. I think it leaves a lot of open doors and is just wrong. The ABDL world is an ADULT world and while there are people under the age of 18 that are into the diaper thing – that area of things should not be promoted online in such a public chatroom open to anyone wanting to easily lie about their age to gain access to children. This is wrong.

I have always been a big supporter of the adult baby and diaper lover community and always will be. The first step in presenting ourselves to the outside world is to clean up the mess within our own “ranks” that does not give outsiders excuses to accuse the ABDL community as a whole of wrongdoings. While, this is no easy task, I think it is a focal point that should not be taken lightly if the ABDL community ever wants to take another step in acceptance on any level within the outside world.

This is just my two cents on the situation and while sites like ADISC are well moderated communities and active – I think ADISC presents a huge problem and are a sore eye for the ABDL community as a whole when they are actively harboring people that are under the age of 18 in their forums. If they would gear their site to over the age of 18 then their site would be fantastic but that is not the case and unfortunately I think it is just one of the many examples of the barriers and problems for the adult baby and diaper lover community of every getting past that horrible stigma to the public.

NOTE: While I understand people’s views may differ I do not want “trash” comments and I will not allow garbage and immature comments such as this which I just received:

“So you want over 18 sites where people can post hairy crotch shots or their miniature d*cks, or pick up chicks for diaper sex, or provide detailed instructions on how to make yourself incontinent so you’ll be pissing yourself happily ever after without control. I’m sure that is what this world needs!” (he also forgot to leave a fake email so some nice easy Google searches and I have a photo of him from a profile)

I thought about posting his photo just to prove a point but I won’t stoop to that level…Please refrain from immature comments AS WELL AS comments that you simply base off of here-say rather than fact.

Adult babies and diaper lovers have always been faced with a stigma from the general public because of the relationship between diapers and babies. People automatically associate that because a grown adult enjoys wearing diapers or just wears diapers in general that they are some how associated with a child. This stigma has cursed the ABDL community since the inception of the community. Websites and TV shows have portrayed the community mainly in a negative light without even trying to understand the truth behind the reality of the mindset of adult babies and diaper lovers. There are the select few like there are in any group of people that are going to give a group a bad name but it does not represent the majority mindset among a community. I understand that TV and websites only portray the exaggerated aspect of the ABDL community because that is entertainment and by degrading others it makes the viewers feel superior and more powerful which in turn leads to them watching the show or reading the web page because they can sit there and feel better about themselves while looking down upon others.

In reality, every single person has a kink or something strange about them that others will find different that could range from normal to some people to perverse to others. It is all judgment. In the case of adult babies and diapers lovers, the reality is that many people find comfort, pleasure, security, fun, enjoyment, and some sexual gratification along with other emotions and feelings mixed in. This is the reality of the ABDL community. The fact is that there is a businessman working on Wall Street this very moment (probably a bunch of them) that enjoys cross-dressing or finds it gratifying both emotionally and sexually to dress up in leather and beaten with a whip and chains by a woman or man and yet they are the same people judging others because they enjoy wearing diapers or judging others because they enjoying acting young again. This is hypocritical and sad honestly and speaks worlds about the mindsets of people.

Bondage, foot fetishes, and even gay sex has become mainstream where it might be looked at as different but certainly not ridiculed as much as adult babies and diaper lovers. The reality is that nobody takes the time, whether in the media or websites, to try and understand what really goes on in a fetish/interest like adult babies and diaper lovers. Instead, they pass it off as too strange. When in reality, I can absolutely guarantee you that 80% of people who tried on an adult diaper would enjoy the feeling or not mind it. Obviously, it would take an adjustment period but in the end I can almost guarantee you that 80% at least of people would enjoy it and feel a certain level of comfort and security in them among other things.

I am sure there will be not only adult babies and diaper lovers reading this article but also you “other” people who are not part of the community. For those “other” people, think about in these ways: what if your best friend enjoyed wearing diapers…are they automatically “sick” and “nasty” and you don’t trust them anymore because of this even though you have known them for forever? Or, think about your own kink/fetish/unusual interest and think of if your boss or friends found out about it…would you want them to automatically jump to conclusions about you in every possible aspect of your life? And finally, realize that there are millions of people around the world that enjoy wearing diapers (yes, millions) and do you think they are all bad as well as what do you think the likelihood is of there being someone who enjoys wearing diapers around you (pretty significant chance)? Like I said, the reality is the stigma of the adult babies and diaper lovers; if people can get past the stigma and realize the majority population of the ABDL’s mindset and reasons then the stigma dissipates and understanding can begin just as with so many other things in history that have become more mainstream and accepted with stigmas such as homosexuality.

I have been attempting to find a logo that can represent the ABDL community that will be adopted by them and accepted. I think I may have found one. A fellow ABDL friend and myself designed a logo that we have presented to quite a few other ABDLs and they love it. They said it is pretty discreet but yet represents and would be recognizable to the adult baby and diaper lover community alike. This is just a sample copy of it below but some feedback would be nice:

As you can see it is like the shape of a flag. It has the typical traditional colors of the adult baby and diaper lover community. It basically translates into “I Love/Heart Diapers” if you couldn’t tell. It has the “I” and then the diaper symbol is also in the shape of a heart. I honestly really like the design and can see it catching on. I can see myself with a sticker or something along those lines or maybe a keychain even. I don’t know – I like it, personally. I think the logo represents the adult baby and diaper lover community accurately for the most part but yet it is discreet enough that a stranger wouldn’t be able to look at it and tell exactly what it means or is.

I know there will be some who do not like it or criticize the attempt to make a symbol for the ABDL community but I think we really need one that people know about and can actually recognize and use. Feedback is welcome and if all goes well then we can take the next steps in spreading it and building its recognition from there.
