10 Things That Make Being a Diaper Lover Fun

I thought I would make a fun post today about what I consider 10 things or advantages to being a diaper lover. A lot of people may look at the negatives behind being a diaper lover but I say that is garbage and here are my 10 advantages of being a diaper lover and what they can do for you:

Relaxing in Diapers: There is something about diapers that acts as a relaxant. Almost an diaper lover will tell you that there is nothing like putting on a diaper and lounging around the house. It calms and comforts many people as it does me as well…even now.
Convenience: The convenience of using a diaper is unmatched…in a tight spot and no bathroom around. Well, you got a diaper on! No worries!
Magical Crinkle: Everyone knows that sound of the diaper crinkle and many find it hard to describe why they like it so much but something about that crinkle brings calming and good memories back to many of us.
Community: The diaper lover community is immense and many of the people in the community are very supportive and friendly. It adds an extra social dynamic to your life with being able to connect with a whole other community with the same interests.
Uniqueness: There are a lot of “groups” out there that have their own interests but there is just something about being a diaper lover that feels unique. You feel there is something truly unique, different, and well better about yourself interest than most other people because of the uniqueness and difference in wearing diapers.
Experience of a Diaper Change: Whether you change yourself or someone else changes your diaper – you must admit that the feeling of changing a diaper and getting in a fresh diaper is just indescribable. It is truly an amazing feeling that I think a lot of people outside of the diaper lover community miss out on.
Spice to Your Wardrobe: Diapers can surprisingly add a little spice to your wardrobe. Many people like the little bulge that it adds to the back of their pants. I personally think it adds something to some of my skirts and dresses because I not only like the look but it also makes me look like I got a little but more of a butt (flat butt alert over here).
Harmless: Being a diaper lover is one of those interests that is harmless…you are not doing anything illegal, harmful, or bad to yourself which is always a positive. There are many interests that require doing something harmful, illegal, etc…but not being a diaper lover.
Always Something To Do: Are you bored? Nothing to do tonight? Diapers provide that extra dynamic that can spice up your night…strap on an adult diaper and immediately your interest is peaked. Go to the mall and get that exhilaration of wearing a diaper in public. It can always make a boring time into a more interesting time.
Increase Self-Esteem and Confidence: By embracing being a diaper lover and being different it enables you to become more comfortable with yourself and feel more confident in yourself. This in turn can raise your confidence level which is always important in this day and age.

Well, there you go – obviously there are a ton more advantages to being a diaper lover but I hope you at least enjoyed my fun little list here. Supporting Adult Baby and Diaper Lover Companies

The adult baby and diaper lover community is huge. I have personally done research in comparison to just how popular the community is in regards to other “communities”. The ABDL community is unique and I think is a grossly underestimated community that many business have yet to take advantage of. The few ABDL specific companies that at least gear their products to ABDLs are limited but are typically very good. Some companies do not flat out say they are adult baby and diaper lover supporting people but they advertise within the community and their products are made on the more “adult baby conscious” mind in my opinion. For example, Secure Personal Care is a company that is not “advertised” as geared towards ABDLs but they are very ABDL friendly and many of their products cater to the needs of the ABDL community. The thickness, design, etc of their products are all assets many ABDLs desire. The same cannot be said for Depends because most of their assets in their diapers are made for the everyday incontinent user in mind which means less absorbent, thinner, etc. So, I devised a list of companies that I believe are very ABDL friendly in my experience of ordering from them:

Bambino Diapers: The best probably adult baby and diaper lover company on the market. They specifically and actively gear their products to the ABDL community and all their products are high quality. They probably came up with the official and most popular true “adult baby diaper”.
ABUniverse: Another actively ABDL specific adult baby and diaper lover business gearing many of their products towards ABDLs. While not as popular due to their history of poor customer service, not as high quality of products, and high prices – the variety they offer appeals to many that are willing to pay top dollar for more of the look.
Secure Personal Care: They actively advertise in the ABDL network but their products website gears towards the incontinence community. But, don’t let that fool you because their products are one of the most absorbent on the market and they have a really good selection of adult diapers in different absorbency levels. Their Secure X-Plus is famous for being super comfortable and highly absorbent in the ABDL community.
XPMedical: This site carries a large variety of incontinence products and is active in the ABDL community. They carry a lot of adult diapers than many ABDLs associate with as well as they are very ABDL aware and friendly.

Those are the main sites I have had experience with that are very ABDL aware and friendly when it comes to ordering and I am sure there may be a few others but these are in my experience and from what I have seen. I think it is important to support all these companies because they are what runs the adult baby and diaper lover community in allowing many of us to use great products instead of using the same old products such as Depends and Attends. These companies provide a great service to the adult baby and diaper lover community and I feel they should ALL be supported. If you haven’t tried ordering from one of these – you definitely should give them a shot. If you are looking for good prices on the most absorbent adult diapers on the market go with Secure Personal Care’s Secure X-Plus Adult Diaper or Bambino Diapers or you could try XPMedical….if you are looking for more of just the look of baby diapers and willing to pay a very high price for the look but lower quality and lower absorbency then give ABUniverse a try.

Doubting Women in the Adult Baby and Diaper Lover World

The title of this post was quite hard to come up with in expressing what this post is about. But, I wanted to talk about women in the adult baby and diaper lover community.

The reality of the internet is that there will always be guys posing as women on the internet no matter what community you are associated with. But, it really is unfortunate for the ABDL community because the fact is that there are a lot of women into the adult baby and diaper lover topic but are either scared off from the community or completely blasted because they don’t reveal their whole life to a male or even another female right off the bat. I understand the skepticism when it comes to making sure it is a woman on the other end but on some level there should be an understanding of trust and gradual progression.

The reality is that most people in this community will start talking to a girl in the ABDL community and almost immediately start asking them for photos, videos, etc. Which, some girls don’t have problems with that and some do and the level of photo “showage” will vary between girls. Some will show their face and some will show just their lower half or whatever. But, the first thing wrong here is that guys start out with these questions first before even getting into any sort of meaningful conversation. Its almost like some men are just after photos of women in diapers just to please themselves (not all guys mind you); When most girls are just looking for conversation and true friends online.

Some people have no problem being completely open in the adult baby and diaper lover community but some don’t and would prefer using only bits and pieces of their true life in order to remain somewhat anonymous. This is where understanding comes into play. Girls and even some guys would be more apt to share more if people would be more conversative and understanding rather than so forward and aggressive.

I will probably regret this later but I will share my experience…Me being a incontinent girl that wears diapers all day, everyday, really enjoys the ABDL community and loves engaging in conversations that are meaningful and would love to meet people that are actually semi-intelligent and have lives that don’t revolve around everything diaper related. Of course, in the beginning, I was unsure of the ABDL community when I first got involved and I was not very forward with anything and I didn’t reveal much about myself besides being a girl. I tried to protect myself by remaining anonymous in the terms of not using my real name. But, as I got more comfortable I started sharing more and realizing the community can be an awesome place. I started slowly feeling more comfortable revealing things about myself and giving more and more. Eventually, starting I Heart Diapers, and I became even more comfortable revealing things within limits. I give as much true factual information about myself to the point where I feel comfortable knowing I can remain semi-anonymous so that it would not affect my career/life outside of the adult baby and diaper lover world. I am active in the community, I have dozens of photos all through out my blog showing basically everything except my facial features. I mean, with all of that, even so much as showing my boobs area and such – people still to this day question that I am a girl, LOL. Its almost laughable at this point and you learn to ignore it. I mean I get crucified by some people in this community because I don’t show my face…I mean get over yourself…not all of us are in that position in our lives to risk everything by flaunting your face in front of everyone in association with the ABDL community.

Unfortunately, all the suspicion has caused girls to barely even be able to talk to other girls because of the doubt that exists and is present in the community because there is always this “doubt”. Unless you are willing to shake your bum on webcam or take a photo with your face smiling with a big wet diaper and a handwritten sign saying “This is so and so…” then there is not much trust unfortunately and any sort of relationship outside of fantasy land is basically not possible because the relationship online can’t get past that barrier because no one wants to participate in the conversation unless what I said happens first.

People in the adult baby and diaper lover community just need to recognize that at least with me – I will always be somewhat shielded because I have a successful life outside of the ABDL community and I protect that. I will divulge more and what not if I actually were to meet you or have a good friendship.

To make a long story short and to sum up – understand is that there are tons of women in the diaper community and they aren’t going to be as open as you want them to be at first with you. Just like on a first date, things are awkward and unsure, and you just have to give the person the benefit of the doubt and not act accusatory to them otherwise there will be no hope in any sort of meaningful relationship.

Adult Baby Symbol Update

Overall, the response is what I expected. You have a lot of people who like it and would get involved with it and then you have the people who say it is too obvious. It is basically exactly the response I expected except that I got a lot more positives than I thought. Here is the thing, many people say that it is not a “flag” or doesn’t look like other fetish symbols or logos but that is not what this community is about. I don’t consider the ABDL community like ANY other community – I think we are unique. We are not a fetish per se – we are a unique lifestyle. I don’t think there is any other community like ours…fetishes are more sexual but for a vast majority of the ABDL community – it is not all sexual, it is more about comfort, security, the feeling, the look, the crinkle, and the list goes on. Adoption of a symbol is not going to be easy nor fluent among the whole community. But, I think it is important to at least throw one out there. Everyone is going to have their own suggestion but until one is actually thrown into the community and people start embracing it – nothing will ever come to fruition.

People in the ABDL community range from people who never talk about ABDL stuff to the openly and free people who let everyone know. Everyone has their identification within the community and own way of representing themselves. The thing about this logo is its UNIQUE, not completely obvious, represents for the most part our colors, designed well, and more. If you are more discreet than a possible keychain, pin, or something along those lines is more fitting to you that is not very obvious but you at least feel you are showing some pride. For the most non-discreet then maybe a bumper sticker, window sticker, t-shirt, or something along those lines. There are tons of ways of showing your pride that don’t have to be blatant. But, many say they could do without the diaper on it but then a symbol without any sort of relation to the diaper is not accurate in my opinion. It is not completely obvious and can easily be explained away. But, what binds the 99% of the ABDL community – DIAPERS. Yeh, you have the little girls, little boys, daddies, mommies, diaper girls, diaper boys, and the list goes on. But, think about it…what binds almost everyone of those subgroups together somehow – DIAPERS. Regardless of how you spin it – diapers are the common interest and defining point in this community whether you are an AB or DL – diapers are the ultimate babyish item.

No logo or symbol is perfect – but I think this one comes decently close to being somewhat discreet but recognizable in the community. On that note, myself and few of my ABDL friends will begin a way of promoting this symbol and hopefully the community slowly embraces it. If not, then so be it…but we are going to give it a try. It must start somewhere.
