So, I am finally back and this will be my first post back after my family issue thingy. Sorry everyone – I just have been so crazy busy and tied up with things that posting was sort of out of the question.

I thought I would make my first post on something one of my readers have asked me. How do you change a diaper in an airplane and contain the smell?

Wearing a diaper and changing a diaper in an airplane is handled I would say in the same manner you would any tight space or close-quartered area. If you wet your diaper on an airplane and it isn’t at risk of leaking then see if you are able to wait until the plane lands – it would just be easier in general to change your diaper in an airport bathroom for obvious reasons. If you are on a long flight though and have no choice and need to change your wet diaper then just take a diaper out of where ever you have it stored – don’t look suspicious though – just act like it is not a big deal. Especially on a plane you don’t want to be pulling anything out of a bag and look suspicious if you catch my drift. So, some tips for changing your diaper in an airplane bathroom would be to bring a pull-up to last you the rest of the way if you think it will be able to hold. A pull-up is a lot easier to put on then a diaper is and less time consuming. But, if all you have is diapers then just put the diaper on while sitting down if there is a space in that particular airplane bathroom…it is way easier than trying to stand up and changing. But, if you have to change your diaper standing up just use the wall to brace yourself against to provide some leverage so you don’t go swaying everywhere.

When it comes to messy and poopy diapers – I would suggest some pre-planning for this, which is what I have always done. If you are a person that does poop their diapers then changing in an airplane will prove extremely difficult. I would HIGHLY suggest first putting a lot of powder inside your diaper before you get on the plane and make sure the diaper is tight around the edges so the smell has less space to come out. Then, make sure to put on a good pair of plastic pants or even two of them which will immensely help contain the smell and keep it inside your pants. Also, wear a good perfume/cologne which will help mask anything that does get out. This is what I have always done and never run into many issues. If you absolutely have to change a poopy diaper in an airplane bathroom then make sure you brought your own baby wipes and a lot of them. Brace your legs against the sides of the bathroom walls so that you are stabilized and can reach the areas you need to wipe in order to clean your bottom. Then, as usual brace yourself against a wall to secure a diaper on. I would also highly suggest wearing a premium diaper along the lines of a Bambino Diaper…that sort of premium. It will allow more wettings and provides more of a cushion and barrier between your bottom and the outside which also helps to contain the smell.

Some of these are obvious tips but some aren’t, so hopefully these tips help you next time you decide to wear a diaper on an airplane and need to change. If you have any other tips please do share them as I am just basing this off my personal experiences and what I have done.

Poopy diapers really are not that bad to clean up. I suggest personally that if you are a male that you shave your butt area. Peter does and it makes cleaning up his messes a ton easier. Here are some quick tips for shaving your butt area without the itch so famously known for after shaving (Peter does this and he hasn’t itched since):

Use Nair For Men to get rid of the outside butt hair off (not the inside as you are not suppose to get it close to your ‘anus’ per the instructions).

Use a hair trimmer or shaver to get rid of any excess and use to shave inside the crack area to get rid of a lot of the hairs. Â This way it doesn’t cut into the root of the hair which causes a lot of the itching you experience.

Use a good moisturizer lotion afterwards and every time you get out of the shower all over your butt.

Always use baby powder when putting on a diaper or changing.

If you are looking for a good moisturizer I would suggest this one:Â Secura Moisturizing Lotion 8 Fluid Ounce Bottle

These are some helpful tips for making messy diaper changes easier to cleanup and also preventing that itchiness that comes with shaving. Â Don’t use a razor as that will for sure cause you to itch down there and from experience (both Peter and I) – its not fun at all.

Being diapered definitely has its multiple advantages but there are its disadvantages. Â One being during the summer when it is quite hot outside wearing a diaper can be somewhat cumbersome. Â It sweats, itches, and anyone who has worn during that time knows what I am talking about. Â Being a girl does have its advantages though over boys. Â I can wear skirts so it lets a slight breeze up into wear the diaper is and most boys don’t wear skirts unless of course your scottish (kilts…) but anyhow I am going to over a few tips to staying cool that I have come across that many of you may or may not have though about. Â These are surely good tips to staying cool when wearing a diaper during heated times:

Wear light colored and loose fitting clothing: Light colors reflect light while dark colors absorb it making it hotter. Â Looser clothing allows for more airspace in your clothes so air can pass through allowing you to cool off.

Try Cloth Diapers: While many people including myself are not big cloth diaper fans – certain fabrics definitely help you stay cooler than others and won’t make you as itchy as plastic diapers.

Change Wet Diapers Quickly: A wet diaper is naturally warm and can increase your body temperature down there and spread to the rest of your body very quickly so be sure to change that wet diaper of yours as quick as you can.

Use a Good Baby Powder: A good brand of baby powder is especially important in staying cool. Â Powder helps cool your area down there which in a sense helps you stay cool everywhere else. Â A good baby powder that I personally like to use is this:Â Purity Organic Natural Baby Powder 3.6 oz.
The scent is very pleasant and its organic. Its a very nice powder that is very hard to find in stores. I highly suggest this baby powder.

Avoid Plastic Pants: Plastic pants only add to keeping the heat in when wearing diapers. Â At least for the summer time try to avoid wearing plastic pants or buy a thin brand that aren’t as thick.

Take Your Time During Diaper Changes: Whether you or your friend/spouse/girlfriend/boyfriend/etc are changing you be sure to let them know to take their time so that you can air out and allow some air to get to your private area to cool you off. Â This not only helps to prevent diaper rashes but also helps keep you cool.

These are some of the main tips I personally follow when trying to keep cool during hot times. Â There are many others I am sure and if you have some you are always welcome to share them. Â Look forward to hearing some great ideas.

Exhausted. that pretty much describes me right now! I just feel so worn out and I am afriad I may be getting sick I’m really hoping not though! Peter and I went for a walk today after work it was nice to get out but the whole time I just felt a lot more tired than normal and I kept getting hot flashes. I’m just keeping my fingers crossed!

This is not really diaper related but I have begun using that Johnson’s baby oil for my skin and i LOVE it! I went and bought some the other night after reading online that it helps your skin! After I get out of the shower I put it on even before I dry off and it makes me feel so much better! I am having Peter start putting it on my bottom too after I have been changed. it makes me feel really soft and I like having a soft baby like bottom But if anyone has dry skin like me..it is well worth it and it will even help your bottom!

Alright well off for an early bed to hopefully keep the sickness from coming my way! Hugs!

Well lets just say this morning didn’t start out quite like I would have wanted! To start… I had a flat tire this mroning which I did not notice until several miles down the road so I was stranded Something you will learn about me is that I get very sick and scared when I am in high stress situations – I called Peter and he came out to help me but by that time I already had a very messy diaper from the nerves! My stomach was all torn apart! It was another hour and a half before the tow truck could come and tow my car and I didn’t even end up getting to work until sometime after lunch! When I got there I THEN Remembered that the stash of diapers that I had kept in my filing cabinet for “emergencies” was no longer there. I had run out several weeks ago and had never gone and refilled it – I am such a procrastinator!!!! Peter being the sweetheart that he is came out with an extra diaper that he keeps in his car for situations such as this and changed me in the bathroom before heading back to work I don’t know how he takes care of me the way he does – but he is PERFECT!!! But yea.. I just got home from work and NOW i need to find something to make or do that will thank peter for all that he did for me today! He is amazing! hehe

Off to the kitchen…Hugs!

So i had a question about changing in the car and I am sorry I have not responded sooner but we are working to get an all new and redone IMABDL. We are really excited about it but it does take a lot of time to get it up and make sure that everything is working properly!

Someone asked how we changed as adults in the back of the car. We don’t like to hang out for everyone to see us especially when we are in between diapers typically we go into the back of the car and just kinda cram in there so that the door is closed behind us. It is snug but that way peter or I can lay down and no one can see us when we are exposed It works pretty well for the most part! Sometimes if we are in a nicer area or a store we will find a family restroom and go in there and change those usually work better! But yeah if you just kinda cram in the back you can change on another pretty easy and it goes quicker and it makes you feel cute and babyish

Well this weekend was WONDERFUL! peter and I got to spend a lot of times with good friends and with one another, but boy am i wiped out! usually I am able to get more sleep but we just kept having things to do so it didn’t end up being quite as relaxing as I had hoped. Peter loved the dress that I wrote about that i Wore on Saturday. I think he had more fun with me in that than being out with our friends! He really enjoyed when halfway through the night we were able to go out to the car and he could change me! I love when that happens because to me it feels so wonderful to be taken care of and like I am really cared about

I am waiting on Peter right now to get home from a meeting he had this evening. He has been doing a lot of traveling and I know it has been hard on him. He really feels sad when I am not there to take care of him because we really rely on one another a lot to make sure we are dry, clean, and taken care of just like little babies. Hopefully he’ll get home at a decent hour so that we can spend some good time with each other! well off to shower for me.. I’m kinda stinky Hugs!

I am sorry for the very delayed post. Tonight has been very crazy and as we speak Peter is downstairs entertaining his parents while I am up here…at yes it is way to late to be at our house! We decided to invite them over for dinner but they just kept talking and hanging out and I am about to pass out – not to mention I have not done any of the dishes yet and I cannot go to bed wihtout cleaning. Halfway through dinner Peter needed a diaper change so we had to excuse ourselves and go upstairs to change his diaper. I knew that if he waited anymore he would have leaked straight through his pants if not worse! Luckily tonight I was good so I didn’t have any big problems

Well to start off I wanted to answer a question that I had from a reader. he asked me if (From the post yesterday) If i was just too lazy to get up and change myself, or if I wasn’t allowed. well… haha last night I was just too lazy but to me the best feeling in the entire world is when Peter changes me and treats me like the baby that I am It is just such a good feeling to be taken care of and really feel like protected and that someone is always looking out for you. We each really focus on making the other feel as comfortable as possible, though we do not put “restrictions” on each other in that way. I change myself a good amount as well most of the time when peter is not available, but that night I was just lazy and I didn’t feel like getting up at that time to do it

Today was pretty uneventful for the most part. Peter and I went to the mall for a while after dinner just to get out and do something, didn’t end up buying anything but did try on some cute things and took pictures – I will have to get those up for you all soon! Well off to bed for this one….Hugs!

What a weekend! Peter and I decided that we should go and do some hiking again at this place we had hared of because we had really wanted to get out and get away from where we are so much! It was nice to get away but after 2 thunderstorms and the scorching heat we were so ready to get back here! We took a total of 7 diapers up to the mountain yesterday and lets just say within 5 hours of our trip we were down to one and we each needed a change. Not to mention – along the way we ended up stopping at some of the nastiest bathrooms and such to change one another. One time Peter had to change me in this bathroom that was so disgusting i had just stay standing up while he changed me, which wouldn’t have been to bad if i hadn’t gone number 2 it took him about 20 minutes to clean my bottom off and re-diaper me to be able to get back on the road.

Anyways we are back now after that lovely experience and we are getting ready for another week upon us! I am so ready to relax and not worry about anything! I hope everyone has a wonderful night! hugs!
