I decided to take some pictures and figured I would quickly post one!  Rockin the Victoria Secret baggy sweatpants – you girls out there know how comfy these things are!  I practically live in these when I am at home.  Check it out:

I got on my Teddy Bambinos – which I usually like to wear around the house and the Classico’s or Bianco’s out.  I don’t know – no real reason for it – just picky I guess.  I am trying to get better at posting photos – I have a lot of them I guess I just find it cumbersome to post photos on wordpress – its not very easy for me, maybe just because I am not that great with being efficient with wordpress.  I swear there has to be an easier way and quicker way to add photos to wordpress.  I feel like uploading the photo via the uploader then messing with the settings and inserting into post, adjusting position, etc. just takes a lot of time.  I am a “drag and drop” type girl that just likes to be able to drag and drop and place a photo where I want it and not really deal with the coding aspect of it.  Over the years though it has allowed me to learn a bit of HTML and CSS which is nice to know that I will admit.

I have been watching Bambino’s Facebook page and they are hinting at big things coming from them in the New Year – so definitely looking forward to what that brings.  I personally like their new diaper, The Bellissimo, it fits me really well and I notice a difference with the absorbency.  I would love to see them just come out with a specialty diaper that is just plain thick – it seems to be what a lot of ABDLs want but I understand the dynamics behind making these adult diapers so I can see where the challenges are with that.

What did everyone get for Christmas…I guarantee you a lot of you start listing Apple products Lucky!

This would be very disappointing for sure if it is true.  If they were to switch to cloth I would definitely not stick with them…I have never really liked any cloth like diapers…just not my thing.  But, I do recognize the Abena is not making these adult diapers for the ABDL community but rather they are making them for the incontinence community and I guarantee you the majority of the incontinence community would rather a cloth like diaper than plastic backed.  I am not one of those people but the majority are hence why a lot of the big manufacturers are moving to cloth like type diapers – Tena, Attends, and possibly Abena now?

Again, not sure how valid it is but just wanted to throw that out there to people in the community to see what people’s thoughts were on this or if they had heard anything?

The New Bambino Diaper comes with a brand new and very cute print on it that I actually like better than any of the other prints on the market…it doesn’t look too fake but more resembles a baby diaper print which I like.  The best way I could describe it is that it looks like the “Hello Kitty” type graphic…here is a quick photo of the face of the diaper.

The first thing I noticed when I took it out of the bag besides the cute print was that it was definitely a bit thicker than the Bambino Classico, Classico, or Teddy.  We are not talking inches thicker so don’t go exaggerating what I am saying but its noticeable.  After I let it sit out for awhile you can definitely tell that it gets a bit thicker after it decompresses.  Many people are wanting to compare the thickness factor to other brands of diapers.  This point is not a big deal to me because I don’t like having a super bulging diaper that I can’t wear in public.  But, I would say besides a Dry 24/7 or Abena X-Plus…it is thicker than most every other diaper – especially after you let it decompress.  When I say it is not as thick – we are talking centimeters…negligible amounts basically unless you want to nitpick.  Here are a few comparison photos with a Secure X-Plus adult diaper and the New Bambino Diaper:

I left both these diapers out for over 24 hours and you can definitely see that the New Bambino is thicker than the Secure X-Plus diaper…again its not huge amounts.  I did notice a lot of thickness was in the SEAT of the diaper which I appreciate and I like the feeling of a little more padding in the seat of the diaper.  Honestly, the whole thickness factor is really sort of inconsequential to me as long as its not super thin.  The performance, absorbency, and fit are the most important things to me in a diaper and in those categories the New Bambino Diaper in my opinion beats it’s competition.

Absorbency: Bambino advertised that this diaper has more absorbency and they were not kidding.  While I am no scientist about it – I like to think I am a pretty good judge of diaper capacity since I wear full time.  The New Bambino Diaper definitely had a little more powerful absorbency than the other Bambino Diapers did and in my opinion, is the best absorbency diaper you can buy.  They use the most SAP in their diaper which is what does most of the absorption.  A lot of other companies want you to think their diaper is absorbent and use wood pulp or “fluff” in their diaper which doesn’t absorb much at all but makes a diaper look thicker.  Bambino uses a lot more SAP which makes the diaper the most absorbent diaper on the market.

Performance: I thought the performance was just as good as the other Bambino Diapers – maybe a little better in terms of wicking the urine away from you so as to prevent diaper rash.  But, it was a perfect combination with the absorbency I think to get maximum use out of this diaper.

Comfort: The fit is PERFECT on me now…the sizing is a little different (not much) but a little – just enough to make the fit perfect on me now! Which made me happy – I know some people are a little different sizes so this can vary but the fit is really important to me and is where this diaper shines in my mind as well.  Besides that, the INNER LINING of the diaper is SOFTER also in my opinion…not sure what they did but I compared the softness to the Bambino Bianco and while they are both soft – you can tell a difference and it feels really nice against the body.

Appearance: The appearance I think is really well done this time and I think they put a lot of time into it.  They are even having a naming contest of the diaper on their Facebook page where you can win free diapers from them basically.  I think the cuteness factor of the diaper is one of the best out there.

Tapes: The tapes have been as secure as the original Bambino Diapers – I have not experienced any tapes popping off but then again I am not squeezing into the diapers.  If you are trying to squeeze into the diaper or any diaper for that matter – tapes may pop but based on my experience and some others – this does not seem to be the case for the majority of people.

Price: While the price has gone up – this is probably the only negative but then again you can’t really call it a negative if they put more money into making the diaper better plus the fact that its a unique diaper.  The combination of better absorbency, better fit, performance, and a cute print on it make the price worth it to ME!  Others will of course feel different based on what they think is appropriate and their own preferences.

I have always been a loyal fan of Bambino Diapers because of their professionalism in designing these diapers.  They obviously put time into designing and making these adult diapers for the ABDL community exclusively.  I am not going to complain about that at all.  Their customer service is unmatched – especially if you have a problem.  If you have a problem with their diaper such as you received a defective product they are very quick and good about replacing that product for you if it occurs.  They also listen to their customers…hence this diaper.  We all wanted a different print – well we got one with a bit more thickness and absorbency.  They have always listened in my opinion – and if something is defectively wrong with any diaper – they will fix the problem.  You have to respect that in a company because not all of them do that.

Overall: The New Bambino Diaper is a phenomenal adult diaper with probably the best absorbency and performance on the market.  While it is not the “Thickest” diaper on the market – it is not too far off either.  The cute print appeals to me and is definitely a big positive as I think it is more babyish than a lot of other prints on the market.  I am not one too look for the thickest diaper visually but I care more about how a diaper absorbs and performs and when it comes to that – this New Bambino Diaper is unmatched in MY opinion.  The fit is perfect on me but this is highly variable to everyone else as some people will like the fit and others won’t.  Just how that part goes.  I think it is a GREAT addition to the Bambino Diaper line of products and if you can you should definitely check it out.  The price is a little bit more right now but understandable in my opinion considering the added absorbency, performance, cute print, and uniqueness of the diaper.

Note: These are my opinions and my experience with the diaper – everyone is going to have a different experience – good, bad, better, worse – I LOVE this new diaper – someone else might not or think its not worth it.  Definitely understandable as everyone is different and wants different things.  Overall, you have to give a company credit for giving good customer service and producing great products for our community in the end because not many companies do that.

I submitted my idea – so hopefully I can win!  Anyways, I am just in the grind at work lately – things are turning cooler around here.  I am sure they are going to start coming out with the footed sleepers at target.  Maybe this year they will have more of a selection for women as I plan to get some if they do.  They are usually a good price at Target…I hate buying them online because I can’t try them on first and they are so expensive.  The Jumpin Jammerz ones are cute but they are just so expensive and I have no idea what size to get ever and I don’t want to deal with it being too big or whatever and having to send it back…talk about a pain!  Going to the gym later today to get in my weight workout – maybe the creepy old man that recently started going to the gym last week won’t stare at me while I do my upper body exercises.  Super awkward…he looks nice but he is just creepy the way I catch him staring.  Maybe I will try to dress a bit more conservative – I don’t know.

Second, as far as HOW I exercise in adult diapers – nothing fancy really.  For running at faster paces I will either not wear a diaper if its for a short distance and just bet on not having problems or I will wear a thin diaper or a couple times I have gone with a pullup (rare).  This reduces the chance of chaffing or adding too much weight or discomfort when running at faster paces.  When I am cycling or weight lifting – I usually go with a thicker diaper because it serves as extra padding (cyclists know what I am talking about) for sitting on those tiny little seats.  So, usually that is a Bambino, Secure X-Plus, Molicare, or Abena X-plus for those times…plus you are more likely to have an accident under low exercising conditions than high exercising conditions.  For jogging or walking – I usually go with a thinner diaper like Secure Plus…I have used store brand diapers like Depends or CVS brand adult diapers in the past but have had problems with leaking so I try to avoid those if at all possible.  You gotta find what works for you though.

The important thing with exercising in diapers is to make sure you always use vaseline or something similar to it because it allows for reduced chaffing and just makes everything more comfortable in general.  So, go out and buy yourself a big jar of vaseline and put generous amounts in the crotch area and butt area before you exercise to help with any discomfort.  Or as Peter likes to call it – “lubing up” before exercising.  Haha – hopefully this helped some of you even though some of it is common sense.

I do appreciate how Bambino is make more of an effort now to update everyone on their current status and making a huge effort I have noticed into breaking into the Social Networking area.  They have even made an official Bambino Facebook Page: Bambino Diapers Official Facebook Page  – if you LIKE them you will get access it looks like to whenever they have deals or special coupons or whatever.  I could use that!  None up there at the moment and it looks fairly recent when they made the page but it is growing.  I also like how they are putting notices on their frontpage too in order to keep people up to date with what is happening.  I always appreciate up front communication.  Anyways, here is to hoping they get their Medium sizes back in soon and maybe add a coupon to the Facebook page at the same time? 1. Relaxing in Diapers: There is something about diapers that acts as a relaxant.  Almost an diaper lover will tell you that there is nothing like putting on a diaper and lounging around the house.  It calms and comforts many people as it does me as well…even now.

4. Community: The diaper lover community is immense and many of the people in the community are very supportive and friendly.  It adds an extra social dynamic to your life with being able to connect with a whole other community with the same interests.

Experience of a Diaper Change: Whether you change yourself or someone else changes your diaper – you must admit that the feeling of changing a diaper and getting in a fresh diaper is just indescribable.  It is truly an amazing feeling that I think a lot of people outside of the diaper lover community miss out on.

Spice to Your Wardrobe: Diapers can surprisingly add a little spice to your wardrobe.  Many people like the little bulge that it adds to the back of their pants.  I personally think it adds something to some of my skirts and dresses because I not only like the look but it also makes me look like I got a little but more of a butt (flat butt alert over here).
8. Harmless: Being a diaper lover is one of those interests that is harmless…you are not doing anything illegal, harmful, or bad to yourself which is always a positive.  There are many interests that require doing something harmful, illegal, etc…but not being a diaper lover.
9. Always Something To Do: Are you bored? Nothing to do tonight? Diapers provide that extra dynamic that can spice up your night…strap on an adult diaper and immediately your interest is peaked.  Go to the mall and get that exhilaration of wearing a diaper in public.  It can always make a boring time into a more interesting time.
10. Increase Self-Esteem and Confidence: By embracing being a diaper lover and being different it enables you to become more comfortable with yourself and feel more confident in yourself.  This in turn can raise your confidence level which is always important in this day and age.

The approval is quite limited to only those that are neurological patients such as spinal cord injuries or multiple sclerosis.  This wouldn’t apply to the average woman or man suffering from incontinence.  But, I personally think this is a good thing even though I am not one of those people that believes in medicating up and drugs.  I am a very “natural” person and don’t like overloading my body with medications, drugs, etc.  I try to eat organically and healthy as much as I can so the idea of injecting Botox (which is really just a form of Botulism Toxin) – yes Botulism – the same thing that can cause paralysis from eating under-cooked meat, into my body is just absolutely never going to happen for any reason even if deemed safe.  But, I think for those who suffer from incontinence that have multiple sclerosis and other neurological conditions that this can be very beneficial to them when the least of their worries is putting a “safe” form of botulism toxin into their body.  Modern medicine has some major polar opposites in my opinion in that I believe that a lot of things will do more harm than good, especially in the long term, but then when it comes to modern innovations of medicine such as this that can provide relief for parents and individuals suffering from incontinence in disabled people – this can provide some significant relief.

You have to think about the benefits and ramifications this has for say the parents of these disabled persons.  By reducing the amount of urinary incontinence episodes of these individuals not only does wonders for the child or person but also can save the parents money in catheter changing costs and/or adult diaper costs.  It reduces the amount of times someone will use their diaper so reduces the amount of diapers that the parent has to pay for in the long term and thus saves the parent’s money.  I don’t know – I can appreciate the small benefits that people may not think of like that.

Just because I have embraced my incontinence (both urinary and fecal) and have learned to make the best of the situation and attribute it a lot to the person I am today does not mean I don’t think others should have to suffer if they do not accept it or find it a huge burden in their life.  I am all for individual choices and though I have made mine and would not change a thing – I am all about helping others if they want help even if they do not accept incontinence or consider it a meaningful part of their life like I do.  So, when I see little news bits like this – I can truly APPRECIATE the benefits that something like this can have on thousands of families in the United States who have children that suffer from incontinence that have neurological conditions.  I can just see the parents reading this same news and just getting a glimmer of hope that they can benefit from this.

It has given me massive diaper rash in the past and I am not a big fan of that. Plus, I know in public I am DEFINITELY not one to like walking around in a smelly diaper. It is just not me. It is not that I am really humiliated or anything – its just not appropriate and rude to others I think for them to have to smell me/you. Common courtesy I guess. Plus, the health factor – feces has a lot of bacteria in it that can spread obviously to other areas if it “comes out” or you contact it somehow.

If you are going to do “messy play” then please use a LOT of vaseline and baby powder because it is going to cause some massive diaper rash after you wait awhile. I just think the health aspects do it for me. I am a health nut so sitting around in a messy diaper is just NOT ME. Just because we engage in this sort of thing does not mean we have to be immature, stupid, or unsafe about it. Treat your body right so that you don’t get yourself sick or at the least get a really uncomfortable diaper rash.

Sorry, I know random post – but I have just been reading so many posts lately on people saying how they love to sit around for hours in poopy diaper and I just can’t fathom doing that on multiple levels unless I absolutely had to. There is the obsessive cleanliness aspect to me, uncomfortable, smelly, and then the health factor that all I guess made me just want to rant about this. Maybe I can persuade some of you to maybe reduce hanging around in a messy diaper from a couple hours to maybe 30 minutes…that would be a health victory.

I am off to run some errands today and get some stuff for our new place – still decorating if you know what I mean. We are trying to find a decent looking couch instead of this hideous brown one we have now. Working on a pretty tight budget so hopefully we can find something in our price range and that is not hideous. We really want an L-Shaped couch but the likelihood of finding an L-Shaped couch in a decent color in our price range is not too likely. But, I am off to change my diaper real quick and then I am out the door to start my long day of errands…I hope everyone has a good Friday and is looking forward to the weekend!
