I have heard a lot of talk about the Unique Wellness Brief, so I figured I would see what all the fuss was about it.

I like how you post something on the 25th and say nothing of Christmas! I hope you had a great holiday!
May i ask how much you paid for them and how many came in your purchase? I also noticed that in the photos you took of them they did not look the same as the ones that I have gotten since the wetness indicator on the ones that I got says unique on it rather than the three lines that your photos show. I am not doubting you but questioning the dealer that you bought them from. Happy holidays to you.
matt – I apologize – Merry Christmas My Christmas’ usually are very uneventful so I apologize it sort of slipped my mind.
bbjw – I purchased them directly from their website.
Then I can understand your dissappointment with the diaper. I have ordered them from DME and have been able to get them about ten dollars cheaper than from the direct website.
Have you tried the Tena ultras?? They aren’t as thick as premium diapers but they’re good for being discrete and they are cloth covered which i’m not a huge fan of but they can keep you cool when it’s hot out. The thing I was really impressed about with these diapers is they hold 2-3 good wettings and still feel dry. Unlike an attends these don’t get clammy. Anyways I picked some up at the local pharmacy for pretty cheap and I was really impressed. Just thought I’d let you all know.
thanks for the warning, to think I almost bought those.
The other uniquebriefs that people are talking about are at uniquebrief.com, they look like the ones called IDslip and used to be Eurobreifs. I have ordered these a couple times.
i just bought a case of abena super. A case of 80 for 80$.
I like them….I LOVE bambino but these are good too. The tapes are a bit of a hassle not because they dont stick, but because they are the blue bottom and white top and when you try to peel the blue off the diaper goes with it lol
anyway its also not AS thick as a bambino but definately as absorbant.
There is a big difference between the wellness and unique wellness brief
unique suck and leak all over
Any update on the new review?
If not, can you give us some info on what was bad about the first batch, and what you found with the new sample?
just got these diapers they sure hold a lot of fluid same thickness as ABRI-FORM X-PLUS BRIEFS but hold twice the liquid.
Adrian, thank you for the time and effort you put into all these posts. i appreciate all the hard work. and I’ve tried these unique wellness briefs before, not a huge fan. I would say your review is dead on!
i ordered a case of the unique wellness diapers from DME knowing that they didnt meet the quality control standards of the manufacturer. i emailed the guy at dme to learn more of this and me told me that the only difference is that they hold like 50+ oz. instead of 80, which for me isnt a big deal, because got such a huge discount. i did get a sample direct from the wellness site and dont know if those were the regular ones or if they were still defectivley holding less at taht point but, i liked them enuff either way to eventually order this case i just got. i would place these diapers right in the middle, i would say they are comparable to abena extras in absorbtion. i wish they would have more elastic waistbands in more areas of the diaper tho as i feel like u could easily flood one of these without trying too hard. i like the way they the gel expands when u wet and so the diaper seems thin when dry but being wet is where u really an idea of how well these work. overall i would say they are pretty good.
I like how much these absorb and hold but i also think that they need to be a little wider in the crotch area.
For anyone who is interested Unique Wellness Brief is offering free samples. I received a free sample and the shipping was at no cost to me. If you are interested in trying our this prodcut just visit their site:
The wellness diapers are quite decent. I wear diapers to work and normally wear Molicare Classic. Anything heavy even the Molicare super is too thick for me to wear at work. I can use the Abena second level (lg white). For some odd reason, even though there is quit a bit of bulk I can use the Wellness at work, lasts for the most part all day. They are not uncomfortable and the are quiet enough. My only problem is that they are expensive, 2X the Molicare classic, I know you only get what you pay for. I have not tried them at night as I use cloth and plastic pants during night time. All in all they are very very good. I recommend!
I found that these diapers were only good for a max of 6 hours not the 8-10 hours stated by unique wellness.
I have to say, I was shocked how ‘thin’ they were when they came out of the package, but they do fluff up pretty thick when you leave them out…
Though the absorbency is great the tapes are narrower than Abena and do not hold as well. As a result of the tape failure issue I have decided to go back to Abena though they cost a lot more. The tape issue has been mentioned by others on several other sites. I contacted the people in Canada bout the problem but I have yet to hear of a solution or cause.
These used to be my regular brand. But of late the quality has slipped badly. Pin-holes make them leak enough to wet clothing, and the company is not accomodating about replacements. I’ve switched to the Secure brand. No problems so far with the new ones.
[...] Also, as promised, I updated my review of the Unique Wellness Brief since I had a bad batch…you can check out the updated Unique Wellness Brief Review. [...]
