Honestly i think it would be a great idea. Something to keep in mind would be if the ad is what is more or less a pop up, as in it in larges without the viewer clicking on it and such. Personally i find such ads annoying and i don’t give them a second thought. But if you found adds that pertained to the content of the site i dont think that you will have any trouble getting people to click on them every now and then. ^_^ idk just my 2cents. GL

A little while ago you asked, “What would make my website better” and nowhere in those response did I see, “Advertising!”

I think advertising may bring in a bit of money to you personally as an individual, but I don’t see how it will improve your blog.

Therefore I’m against on those grounds.

I suggest an alternate source of passive income but not advertising on this blog. A site that sponsors this one? Not directly or explicitly but create a site with advertising from day one.

Hi Adrian,

I really like your website and I think some google-ads won’t disturb.

However, I don’t recommend that you ask your visitors for clicking on the ads. Any activities to raise the income from google-ads artificially are a violation of the rules for google-ads.
Google checks whether there number of clicks and the income fits together to the number of visitors. If you have too much income/visitor, they will cancel your account.
Or they might also count clicks from the same IP.
Believe me, I have experience with that and my account was cancelled even without that I encouraged my visitors to click on the ads.
It was enough that my incomes recently were relatively high recently.
Once your account is cancelled chances are very little to re-activate it again. Also all money earned since the last transfer to your bank-account is lost in case of a cancellation.
So, please make your ads, but be careful.
