I know this thread is old, but wanted to add, I am moving away from cheap drugstore brand i.e Depends which aren't really cheap imo. To something more functional for my issues. I am begging to think, if there is a need (medical or mental) then why not have a little fun with it?

Iwork in a emergency room alot and we see diapered adults often ,we barely give it a second thought .We automatically assume it must be for a medical reason . As for asking why? Only if it has to be none for procederial purposes.Other than that all medical info. is on a need to know basis and kept in strict confidential trust.

I always wear a diaper to the doctor. They are supposed to be professiponals after all. Before even seeing a doctor there is the S.O.P. of check-in and that is usually where the blank stares come from. If the doctor can't deal with the diapered adult he/she needs to find a new vocation. I wear for need myself.

I have been to the doctor diapered before and have never had one ask about it. The only time I felt funny about it was when I had to go into the hospital for sleep apnea tests. This means that you go in and they hook up electrodes onto you and see how often the apnea occurs. They also film the session. Well, I sleep in a diaper and nothing else. It felt weird to come in, strip down, and get into bed knowing there is someone watching on a camera and taping me. I am fine with a loved on seeing me in my diaper and I would even be ok with a doctor seeing it (in person), but the thought that I'm now on camera made me feel really strange. I hate cameras.

I had one experience wearing a diaper to the doctor. I go to a hemotologist for to get bleed every two months, and I decided to wear a diaper the last time I was bleed. I did this for convenience- as I have to drink loads of water prior to them sticking the big needle in my arm- and comfort because that needle is REALLY BIG. Anyway, I forgot that I was also supposed to get seen by my doctor. I don't wear one for medical reasons, and I don't really feel like explaining why I like diapers. He is also my primary doctor now, and is more aware of my medical history than I am. Suddenly I realized it wasn't such a good idea, and fortunately he never did notice my diaper (or if he did- he didn't say anything).
