I live near the D.C. area and trust me a few snowy days is nice, but when you’re stuck in your house living on Ramen noodles because you forgot to go grocery shopping and all the stores are closed you start wishing for spring.

Adrian I just would like to mention how much i really enjoy your blog, I saw how you where treated quite unfairly on adisc, but then again you really have nothing to prove to nobody if they don’t believe you then so be it just keep being yourself cause there’s plenty of people who like you just the way you are, why would theay ban you?

Sometimes I put stress upon myself when it is sunny out Adrian but I recognize i do it for the following reason. I realize that i’m inside and wow its sunny I should be outside being active and enjoying the outdoors. Then again why do i have to go outside and be active? In short the idea that I need to be more active is something I put upon myself and I realize it to an extent. So I make an effort to get out and do stuff outside on those days that the weather is nice. Could this be why you’re stressed when it’s sunny? Also when i think about it I get the same cozy warm inside while its nasty outside feelings as everyone else. It takes the choice out of it really. It’s like oh its nasty outside I ‘should’ stay in. Thus in my mind making it justifiable that i’m staying indoors. Maybe it is the same for you? I realize now more than ever that a lot of the stresses I deal with and maybe many others too is self induced. If it is, recognizing it is such a huge and freeing thing. Just something to think about.

Were here in Goldsboro and I was stuck out working in the rain so yeah I wish it had been snow too, at least then my little girls could have played in it, more so then with the freezeing rain we had earlier.

I know what you mean about the “cozy” feeling. Some of my favorite memories were when we’d get hit with a huge snow storm (I live in NY) and the power would be out, so all we could do was sit around and play board games by candle light…gotta love the simple days. I wish I was in diapers then, but it doesn’t mean I can’t just sit around in diapers and play games now .

I know the feeling for depressing wheather in southern Indiana. Winters here have so mild its like not even winter with or without snow. Last January of 2009 we had a real nasty ice and all related storm damage and stuff. Last Friday in my part of town, it was nasty all day long with rain not letting up then in the evening turned into a snow shower but didn’t hang around I think. Thats the wheather in my neck of the woods. Yeah, my favorite movie to watch with depressing wheather is Final Fantasy Advent Children. Good Movie!!!!! Oh by the way Adrian, I can’t remember if you did or didn’t have a chatroom on your blog here. With your recent topics with in the last week I think have been off the charts and people could chat more if not a reply here and a reply there. Keep up the good work.

Aww I live in the DC area and it is super fun. I always wanted to build an Igloo. We got over 2ft. for sure.
