Adult Babies, but Where Do Teenagers Fit In?
In my opinion, note MY OPINION, an adult baby is one that is considered 18+, classified themselves as an adult baby, and engages in adult baby activity. That is fine and dandy as well as easy to classify them in my opinion. The line becomes a bit blurred when we are referring to teenagers that engage in such activity like wearing diapers and acting like a baby. People will argue all day that there should be a place for teenagers to converse online for this kind of activity…and I AGREE with that idea; BUT, I agree ONLY if it were only teenagers which is impossible in the internet day and age. Thus, I do not support sites that actively ‘advertise’ themselves to the younger crowd or as people who are 18+ refer to them legally as – underage.
You can argue with me and make yourselves feel better all day long until you are blue in the face but the fact is that sites that ACTIVELY advertise themselves as conversational forums for younger than 18 (teenagers) are wrong in this day and age and ESPECIALLY for the ABDL community. Of course I am referring to ADISC – who blatantly caters to the ‘younger’ crowd which in MY opinion is wrong…if you want to argue, trust me you are wasting your breath. Now, some people will say but sites like DailyDiapers has teenagers on it as well – which you are CORRECT. BUT, there is a big difference – DailyDiapers does not cater nor actively advertises themselves or is known for hosting younger than 18 year old content whether it is discussion, photos, etc. That is a big difference whether you like it or not.
Everyone is correct in saying that older people will sometimes say they are younger and younger people will lie and say they are older just to gain access or what not to a forum. That is the internet, unfortunately. But, the difference comes from a site that caters and harbors that and a site that does not. There in lies my problem with sites like ADISC…of course, people are around that age don’t understand that yet and appreciate a place like that but don’t fully comprehend the dangers that can occur there both illegally and morally. Not to mention it CAN make bad press for the ABDL community.
So where do teenagers that wear diapers or what not fit into the whole ABDL community online? Good question…because I honestly have no idea. I recognize they need a place for support but I don’t condone sites that actively harbor content on the internet that are geared to underage people in the ABDL content…period. There are too many risks, liabilities, etc etc. Maybe, it is the materal instinct in me that I feel so strongly about this – I have no idea but I just think its wrong. It only takes one bad apple in a forum to cause some really terrible things and sites that promote themselves actively for teenagers to converse in an adult baby type context are just breeding grounds for something bad to happen. Maybe, nothing bad as ever happened from a site like ADISC or maybe it has? Maybe you haven’t heard about it? Does that matter whether you have or haven’t? Do you want to take that risk? These are questions you should be considering. Of course, there are a few other sites similar to ADISC, but it is just one of the bigger ones.
I am sure there will be some backlash from this post like there always is both here and on there site. I am sure they will say the same old thing about me as they always do and that is fine…it becomes comical to me that some of them actually think I care or it affects me. As always, I say what I feel and I am forward – you don’t like it – well that’s fine. Facts are facts…places that in anyway cater to those under the age of 18 years old especially in the context of something like ABDLism – will only be a matter of time if it already hasn’t happened that something regrettable, unfortunate, and disgusting will happen. Bring on the arguments 
Merry Belated Christmas and Happy New Years
I just wanted to wish everyone a merry Christmas even though it is a little late and an early Happy New Years. If you are Jewish then…Happy Hanukkah time. I hope everyone got what they wanted presents wise. What did everyone get? Anything exciting? I got a lot of clothes because that is what I like but I did get a new Ipod Shuffle and running headphones for my new found love of trying to workout more. Nothing too exciting? If you got any interesting or really awesome gift I would love to know.
Also, if there are any girls out there or maybe anyone with any experience with using headbands too hold your hair up and keeping it from falling in your face when you run please suggest some. I typically used ones from Target or Walmart but those aren’t cutting it. I have heard good things about Nike’s brands but wasn’t sure. So, if you have any experience with that – would love to hear your suggestions.
Just ordered my new cases of Teddy Bambinos as I ran out out of them so with some of my Christmas money I got I figured I could use some of it on couple cases of Bambino Diapers. Anyone else using some of their Christmas cash on diapers? I typically do it every year. Funny story, we were traveling this holiday season and it was a LONG LONG drive. I was wearing one of those Unique Wellness diapers in the car and for anyone who hasn’t tried them, I figured they would be OK for the drive but oh how wrong I was. I leaked all over my seat and jeans. I wasn’t about to change into another one of those so we had to actually stop and we bought some of the Depends from CVS which actually didn’t leak on the first wetting while sitting down like the Unique Wellness did on me. The Depends obviously didn’t hold much at all but they didn’t leak on me so that was good. But, I hadn’t worn a Depends diaper in a long time and it felt so weird because of how paper thin it was. Those things are meant for maybe 1-2 wettings lol. I guess I have been spoiled with the Abenas, Bambinos and Molicares of the world.
Thankful for what God has Given Me
I want to wish everyone a Happy Post-Thanksgiving…I am a little late on it since I was busy with Thanksgiving yesterday…had to cook for a lot of people. Anyways, I just wanted to write a post about being thankful for what God has given you and who you are. When you are feeling down about yourself then I encourage you to come back and read this post over and over again as I think it will give you some perspective.
First, life isn’t always fair…that is the fact of life. People are dealt different cards in life but what makes your life great is how you play those cards. You could be dealt a tough set of cards but if you approach those cards in the right mind and perspective then you can make your life happier and more worthwhile than someone dealt a lot better set of cards than you. God has given each one of us separate identities, thoughts, actions, personalities, etc. That is what you must come to realize – that you are not a mistake! You are what God made you and you should be thankful for that.
When I was born with a structural form of incontinence virtually making my incontinence incurable…I could have thought God made a mistake with me but that is not the case. God made me for a purpose and I am thankful for that. I have managed my incontinence fine with adult diapers and I have been able to have positive effects on a lot of people I have come in contact with in regards to my experience. When you think that you have it bad or you are going through a tough time in your life – then, think of those people that most likely have it harder than you. I know when I am having a hard time and think my life is tough I always think of those kids you see on TV from Africa they show roaming around with no home, no food, etc. I just think that my life could be like that where each day I am just trying to survive rather than whatever meager problem I am having. It is how I stay positive.
If someone wants to make fun of me for having to wear diapers…OK…how is that in anyway going to harm me? I am thankful for who I am and you should be too! Whether you are incontinent, enjoy wearing diapers, or whatever just know that God made you a certain way and has led you to this point…how you choose to play YOUR cards is up to you on whether you want to look at it from a positive light or a negative light is up to YOU. But, trust me when you think you have it tough – there is always someone with something worse! Always!
So, please be thankful for what you have and what God has given you both physically, mentally, and spiritually. I am thankful for who I am and what I have become and wouldn’t change a thing! I am thankful for the life I have. And you should be too! You are beautiful inside and out – just know that! Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
Secure X-Plus or Bambino Diapers
So, I have gotten this question multiple times on whether I think the Secure X-Plus or the Bambino Diaper Classico, Teddy, or Bianco are more absorbent. In my opinion, they are all the same top absorbency. These adult diapers make up the epitome of absorbent diapers on the market but they are all the same in my experience when it comes to absorbency. It just comes down to the design and what you like. Do you want a plain all white adult diaper – then go for the Bianco! Do you like Teddy Bears – then get the Teddy Bambino! Do you like baby blocks – then get the Bambino Classico! And, finally if you want a neutral non-babyish print design but want still a print on the diaper then get the Secure X-Plus. They are all phenomenal adult diapers with the best absorbency on the market but they are all the same in terms of absorbency. I buy all of them just sort of depending on my mood – there is something unique about the Secure X-Plus that I do like! But, I love the new Teddy design on the new Bambino Diapers so I do get them as well…but I am a sucker for the classics that Bambino makes (i.e. the Classico and Bianco). There is something for unique about a really thick all white diaper. It just depends on my mood, honestly. But, hopefully that clears up any questions on whether there are differences. Complexity Behind Buying Adult Diapers
Buying adult diapers can be a complex process for some people based on their needs. Many people you would be surprised to find out that they know nothing about buying diapers online such as Abena, Bambino Diapers, Molicare, Secure, etc etc. They probably haven’t seen these brands in their local stores so they know nothing about them. All they know is what the store gives them and hence are missing out on a lot of features that some of the best adult diapers provide. So, their choice is simple for the most part because the selection is so limited in stores and the quality is so poor. But, for the rest of the people that have discovered the advantage to ordering adult diapers online have come to find that it can be a complex choice on which ones to go with based on a lot of different factors.
I know for me when I look at buying adult diapers and which ones I choose to ‘invest’ in I go for the best quality (i.e. best absorbency, tapes, etc) because this in essence will allow the diaper to last longer and takes a lot of the worries about leaking out of the picture. Price is also a major factor in buying adult diapers…probably the biggest factor for a lot of people. I for one am a fan of an “all in one” price meaning that the shipping is built into the price and your just paying for what is advertised. I hate getting to the end of a checkout cart and then seeing any amount extra added onto shipping – that always makes me hesitate to buy things because no matter how much it is, its a mental thing for me. Some of the big players in the adult diaper world do this all in one pricing and I think its a huge advantage.
One thing to look at when comparing adult diapers (especially premium adult diapers) is not only their features that come with it but the cost per unit. That means if a case if $50 for example and you are getting 40 diapers then the cost per diaper is $1.25. This is important to take into consideration because while one sites price may appear cheaper for a case – it may just have more or less diapers in the case.
There are many tricks that some companies will enact that you may be unaware of…I will demonstrate one way companies do this. It is a prime example and nothing against the company – it is just how they lure you into buying their diapers. ABUniverse offers their Cushy diapers for $99 for 80 diapers…that puts the price at $1.24 per diaper basically. This is disregarding the fact that the Cushy diapers aren’t as absorbent or have as many features as some of the best adult diapers like Abena X-Plus, Bambino, Secure, Molicare…but anyways back to the point. ABUniverse is going to charge you shipping now which significantly increases the price per diaper. UNLESS, you spend $100…then you get free shipping…so they made the price $99 ($1 below $100) so now you have to buy something else to get that free shipping which may not be a problem for some but for those counting the pennies – this may be an issue. This is just one of those techniques some diaper companies employ to lure you into purchasing their diapers.
This does not even take into account the features of the adult diapers – absorbency, tapes, fit, leg gather effectiveness, material used, clumping, etc. Many of these features are extremely important and should definitely be considered…like clumping…while it does not seem like a big issue it can be a big issue in various ways. If a diaper clumps for one it can be uncomfortable for the user because now you have this huge clump of material in your diaper. Second, it DECREASES absorbency of the diaper because now you don’t have a lot of material covering where you urinate.
Many of you may already know all this but these are just prime examples of things you should at least think about before choosing to buy adult diapers. Adult diaper companies can use various tactics to lure you into buying a product even if it is inferior by disguising it with either just the look of the diaper (to make it look absorbent when it really isn’t) or to make it seem cheaper when its really not (either by not taking into account shipping or the diaper is so inferior to other diapers that you are not getting your money’s worth). I am a penny pincher in all honesty – so these are things I think about when I choose to buy my adult diapers…which for the record is typically Bambino Diapers, Secure Personal Care (which are now offered on Bambino’s website), and XP Medical. These are the most trusted sources in my mind over the years…not to say others aren’t – but these are my go to stores for anything I really need.
Been A While…I Know
Ok, so I know it has been awhile since my last post and believe me it has not been on purpose. I have just been extremely busy and the time I am in front of a computer I am getting necessary/work things done for the most part. I apologize for the lack of posting. A lot has happened since I last posted it seems. Bambino Diapers came out with their large Teddy diapers and brought back the original tapes which everyone seems excited about. They also made announcements that they are bringing back the old tapes for the medium Teddy diapers as well which is also exciting. I liked the stretch tabs and never had issues but I like their old tapes just as much too. So, positive either way because I love the new design.
My next post I am in the middle of working on and it will be a good one…informative, true, and unfortunately probably negative to certain groups of people within the ABDL community. It just frustrates me sometimes to go around to the various communities and here others slandering people in the community. It is just inappropriate and uncalled for – it amazes me there are people out there like that. I mean I talk to a lot of people and I know when people are lying, people are telling the truth, when things are fabricated, etc etc but I am not going to go on some accusatory rampage or belittle that person just because I “think I know”. What kind of world do some people live in? Do these people shit not stink? Certain people think they are God’s gift to the world and they KNOW all because they heard someone say this or that, or whatever so it must be true. Are those people really that gullible and ignorant? I truly hope not…anyways I need to stop – I am saving most of it for my next post. I have a few other good posts in the works too.

Kay, Diapers, and What Happened
A lot of people are wondering what happened to Kay so long ago. I am sorry I never responded to a lot of you but I did respond to some people. I try to respond to everyone but as you can imagine I get tons of emails and I just never got around to making a post about it. Kay as you know is incontinent like me and is into the DL thing a little bit but she just didn’t feel like there was any benefit for her to be blogging and she was not to fond of the attention she got. Not to say she didn’t appreciate some of it – but there was some attention she said that made her uncomfortable. That with a combination of that she is not into the AB or DL scene that much – she just decided it wasn’t for her. Which is definitely understandable. I told her to try it out and see what she thought and it just wasn’t for her.
She really is a kind person and very down to earth. She said her and her boyfriend tried to meet a lot of people but most everyone of them either chickened out or just couldn’t relate on a mature level. She shares a lot of the same ideas that I feel on certain things and it is unfortunate. A lot of people if you meet them or talk to them, all they can relate to you on or talk to you about is diapers. Which, yes, diapers are a big part of my life and hers as well but that is not all we are about…she was looking for real friends and people they could get a long with and have fun with doing what typical friends do. But, she said that most everyone just couldn’t get past that whole diaper thing and it just became awkward.
That is where I find it very important for ABDLs. Do not lose your social life over it. Diapers can be a huge part of your life whether your incontinent, AB, DL, ABDL, mommy, daddy, whatever – but don’t let it rule your life. You have to have other aspects of your life that does not revolve around diapers because in the end once the diaper stuff does fade if you meet someone – you would like to have a good true friend and not just a diaper friend. At least that is how I look at things and how I base who we attempt to meet offline. We are very supportive of the ABDL community but we will really only meet people that we have talked to for a while and developed a good friendship online that doesn’t revolve around everything diapers. Just my suggestion for those out there looking to meet other girls or guys for that matter…your life is not diapers – it may be a big part – but you are a person too! Don’t forget that
