There are a lot of things I do enjoy about wearing diapers but of course there are those things that I would say are “icky” feelings.

My quirk… I can’t STAND leaks. That makes me feel icky.
…and I have to be PERFECTLY dry when I go to bed. I change as the LAST thing before bed…. After my teeth, after my contacts, I put the clean diaper on and lay down. I don’t even want a drip in there. Once I’m IN bed, whatever. It’ll hold till morning.

Waking in a wet diaper, even if it’s a soaked saturated bludging mess, doesn’t bother me as long as it didn’t leak. I’m just happy it’s soggy instead of the bed. Waking up messy is ok. It’s when I wake up with a sick messy diaper, the runs, that makes me feel icky and dirty.

    Gotta agree with Miakoda….LEAKS!!!!!!

  4. Diaperbadboy says:

    I can’t stand messings

  5. Penny says:

While I can’t really deal with number two, pee has never bothered me. I’ve met a few people who were completely grossed out by it, but it really is no big deal, especially if you drink a lot of water. And, as someone who changes a LOT of wet diapers for a good range of people, I can safely say that it usually just smells like disinfectant anyway, so you don’t even have to worry about odor.

  6. julia says:

I can not stand poopies either. The thing that makes me feel bad when wearing a diapers is when it over flows and leaks. When I need my diapers I empty my blader all at once. Im not sure if thats what you al experiance. However when it happens the diaper does not absorb fast enough and it goes down my legs and over the top of the front.

  7. Nia says:

I also agree with Miakoda. I don’t like leaks. It also bothers me when my diaper gets wet and the bum gets saggy. I am ok until the sag happens then it has to get changed.

  8. Andy says:

For me I don’t mind a messy nappy or a wet nappy, even when it is full to the brim of both. It confirms the fact that the nappy worked and there are no worries. I am not incontinant, I just enjoy wearing nappies, so unfortunately my brain hasn’t yet been able to tell my bladder or bowels that they can release when I am asleep. Unless I wake up half a sleep in the middle of the night I go then change in the morning. So I am still waiting to be able to wake up unknowingly wet or messy. I also have the same problem as Julia, I only wee when my bladder is full but I also have a large bladder, however I am able to control the rate at which I wee so I can slow it down a bit but I would rather not have to and just go and not think about it.

    Hello!
Sometimes i prefer waking up in a wet one, beacause that means we are safe in it. But poop? No please!!! I hate, the smell, the feeling, ist’s horrible! Altough i can’t say the samething about piss. I mean, like you said, it’s almost water and salt.
Well, i do not use diapers for too long because i practice many sports and things like that, and hangin’ with friends with a diaper on it’s not much confortable, besides, if they would notice it they wouldn’t problably just laugh about’it. So i prefer usiong them at home or sometimes at school, when we have those not full days. Some of my friends do know that i have this love for diapers and they are just cool, they’r just the ones that i feel confortable using diapers.

    See you! XXOO

  10. Scotty:) says:

Yeah, I definitly agree, waking up wet isnt a problem,
its when try to get up up and it like.. drips till I get to the bathroom.
But i have all travertine tile floors so:) i guess.
but for an 18/m its a hassle within itself!! lol.
Also. I work the graveyard shift in a resturaunt for 10 hours a night, 5 days a week as a server,
sometimes in my down time ill accidently snooze till our cook wakes me.
and well.. yeah, but i doubt ill be wearing at work anytime soon,
all the other servers are unpredictable, always awake and exited girls.
im not about to do that to myself. lol. :cc
looks like ill invest in more red bull:u

  11. lilstevie says:

I have to agree with all the responces above. Going to bed feeling all snuggled up securely in a nitey time diaper and waking up in a puddle just sucks. Especially if you`ve just changed the sheets and they smell so fresh and clean. So my pet peeve is leaks.

  12. Diaper Lover says:

    Good article!

I agree with the many sentiments that LEAKS SUCK!

I can generally diaper after my morning shower and, if I watch my liquid intake, not re-diaper until the following morning. I guess because since guality diapers are relatively expensive, I want to get the “maximum good” out of one.

Needless to say, by bedtime my diaper is pretty wet, but it doesn’t really bother me or inhibit my sleep for some reason. I live alone, no spouse or girlfriend, so any odor “under the sheets” has only me to bother. Good diapers chemically neutralize much of the urine smell anyway, so it mostly smells like powder and rash cream. Though there usually is a waft of urine by morning, it is almost soothing to me. Don’t ask me why. I could see how that could be intolerable to a bedmate though.

I use my morning “poop” as the coup de gr

  13. Hugo says:

I have to disagree with you Diaper Lover, besides, i am a vegetarian, so, why does my poo smels bad? The food i hate just turns in poop because your stomachal acid do it, so, that acid contains thousands of and thousands of bactaries causing bad odor and stuf like rash. So, that is the why i don’t like poop.

    Stay tuned!

ps- i am portuguese so my english may be poor

  14. Crinkly says:

I don’t mind waking up in a wet diaper at all, as long as it’s not leaking. Waking up wet seems the natural way if you wear diapers. It seems a waste if my diaper is dry in the morning. Or if my diaper isn’t wet enough to change by the time I go to bed, I’ll just leave it on, since I can just get up later to finish it off and remove it then if I know it won’t be leak free for the rest of the night.

Adrian, it surprises me that even though you love wearing diapers that you don’t like waking up wet. Is it only when your diaper is soaked that you don’t like it? What if your diaper is just partially wet, like maybe half way?

  15. william says:

i use for both as well and like you I dont like being in a wet or messy diaper for too long.

  16. rocker fan says:

iv never had a leaky diaper becouse i dubbel my atends i take a razer blade and i slice a bunch of holes in the botem of it and then the one with the holes in it go’s in to the one that is un cut and then it is dubbel the diaper with less changs it works for me and it all ways has.

  17. rocker fan says:

fell free to e mail me adrien

  18. robert says:

    i wear diapers 2 work i wera diapers 24/7

  19. Cally says:

Waking up in a wet diaper is something I like too. But do you have any idea how hard it is to pee lying?

  20. Jks16 says:

Oddly enough I don’t mind waking up in a wet diaper… It is MUCH better than waking up with a cold wet spot on your bed!!! That I don’t like at all. Another thing that really feels ikky to me is when it leaks and it is running down your leg..
But heaven, for me at least, is getting put into a fresh, dry, clean diaper :)

  21. enco says:

Although wet diapers are ok when they’re warm, cold ones are far less enjoyable so I would agree that an hour to an hour and a half would be it. I LOVE sleeping or waking up in a diaper with a BIG load of poop! I’m not incontinent so don’t go in my sleep, but if I do number one or two in my diaper before bedtime, I usually don’t ‘make it’ until morning.

  22. Charlie says:

I like waking up in a wet diaper…What I dont like is a cloth backing, Idk, I just subconsciously feel like its going to leak more often, and it doesnt give me the crinkle I like so much…

  23. Bella says:

I understand a lot of what you are all saying, and agree with all of it as far as facts go. Urine is sanitary for the most part, however (correct me if I am wrong please) I believe it is highly acidic (or highly base) which is hard on your skin after a prolonged amount of time. Also, feces is “sanitary” to an extent. When it leaves your bum, certainly. But many things happen when chemicals and compounds come in contact with air. For one, feces is a breeding ground for bacteria. Like Hugo said, even a healthy diet can lead to a foul odor poop. However, the term “healthy diet” is also very variable. I mean, sure, there are certain 100% unhealthy things. But in my experience as an omnivore, I have more solid poops when I eat a lot of meat and protein rich food. My solid poops are less foul then my less-solid ones. When I eat a lot of fruits, vegetables and nuts, certainly that is a “healthy” diet, but also one that both facilitates metabolizing in my body, and alters the consistency of my movement. Think of it this way: odor is actually particles of what it is you are smelling that have broken away into the air. Surface area of the “object” controls how much can break away. So a liquid, or even a soft squishy movement will have more surface area than a nice neat log, and will put off more particles… thus smelling worse. All science aside, I love wet and messy diapers, and often try to make sure I have done both before I go to sleep. I have only gotten diaper rash from spending upwards of 18 hours in a messy diaper. Perhaps I have tough skin.

  24. Bella says:

Also… when I first started, I hated messing myself. It was required by my “carer” however, and I grew to enjoy it, even asking to be changed “a little later” so as to allow time to play in my messy diaper. The smell itself seems there to remind me of my status in the situation. Even if I don’t like the smell, I like what it stands for: my helplessness and need for a carer to take care of me. Though at the point of discomfort, it becomes a fun game to convince the carer of why a diaper change is a great idea! In my case, this has never been denied, but often toyed with. Especially when I ask to stay in it for a while, then soon after change my mind. It is all a part of the game, and as they say… different strokes for different folks. Eat healthy, and love your diapers!!!

Hi. I just came across this “blog?” and like it very much. This “Waking up in a Wet Diaper” was also enjoyable in reading every one’s thoughts – they were mature and adult responses whether you are incontinent or just plain enjoy wearing a diaper. I am partially incontinent and partially what is called an adult diaper lover. I am Diabetic with some neuropathy damage. When I use a sleep aid I wet the bed – so my wife and I decided it would be best to wear a diaper at night, which I do. When I do wake up in the morning wet I have come to enjoy it as nothing I can change – I am in a sleep state so strong I just go.

  26. diaperdave says:

I too wear cloth diapers 24/7. Every morning when I wake up my diapers are soaked. Thank GOD for adult cloth diapers and plastic pants. Ever since having a stroke in the mid 80′s I have had absolutly no bladder control and little bowl control. Consequently I am in diapers 24/7. You can’t beat the feel of a properly fitting cloth diapers, plastic pants, and Johnsons Baby Powder.

  27. blind dl says:

Adrian, WHat are your opinions on taking caire, and preventing diaper rash?
I am a dl who is able to practise this fetish since august.
    WHat should I use.
    Babypowder or a diaper creeme?
Do you use babypowder or mentol powder for adults?

Thanks for your thoughts about this.

    Blind dl.

  28. diaperdave says:

I wake up in a soaked diaper every day. Due to my incontinence I go thru 6 or more cloth diapers every day. I wear double overnite clothdiapers and so far no leaks. For me it would be very uncomfortable not to be well diapered. I would not dare to try to wear anything else.

  29. joe says:

I have been urinary incontinent for over 19 years now and while getting up every morning in a wet diaper did take a little getting use to, wearing a diaper took some time getting use to, I can not stand getting up as if I didn’t have a diaper on at on and the sheets and bed is completely soaked. I have a protected mattress but it isn’t the normal hot plastic, rather one that fits like a regular sheet. My night clothes are wet and I wake up freezing.

  30. I just started diaperingaa anwent ot bed the other nite with a fresh diaper,
. I peed during the nite while sleeping on my side.OOPS! ileaked, soiling my sheets and pad. What a mess. I wear plastic pulloms. Any ideas on how to prevent this?

  31. diaperdave says:

Charlie, sounds like what you need is adult cloth diapers with proper fitting plastic pants. After trial and error you will find the right thickness of diapers to use and wetting anything other than your diapers will be a thing of the past.

  32. Monsieur LaPlage says:

To settle the question, approximately one quarter of the mass of human feces is bacteria

  33. Brian says:

I’ve tried sleeping in a diaper many times. I slept in a pair of fitted briefs one night, but was dry when I woke up.

  34. simon says:

I often wake up with a wet nappy on it beats the many times I have woken in a wet bed. It is also being fair on my wife.

I suffer from nocturnal enuresis which is why I resorted to wearing nappies. Most leaked which I hated. Only terry nappies and plastic pants seem to do the trick. I really hated the feeling of waking up wet, I somehow felt inadequate and the humiliation of having to wear them.

Something actually changed all that and that was my wife. She started coming on to me when I was in my nappy. She would feel me through the wetness as we got intimate. The first time I wanted to go and get out of them and clean up before going further but she insisted that I stayed in them. We made love and it was wonderful.

She helped me to understand that I have a problem that nappies are the sensible solution and that she loves me no matter what.

  35. steven goodwin says:

i wet the bed and i still ware diapers every night

  36. DL4life says:

there’s nothing harder than being 23 and toilet trained, but having to go while standing up/in bed…but theres nothing better than the feel of a fresh diaper :), and i love waking up in a wet one, wear double if you want for sure no leaks

  37. scooterscottii says:

I cannot wear a diaper without wetting it. I have become obsessed in an exciting and pleasant way. My mommy/wife loves it when she discovers me in my wet diddies because she knows her baby will be good and take care of her too.

  38. percyyannabeth says:

i love diapers, but im always afraid there gonna leak! :O i barly have problems with the front just mostly the side.. and sometimes i cant sleep with my diaper on! i love them, and waking up wet is fine.. i hate pooping tho, i love the feel, and then sitting inin is okay, but when clean up comes around ugh i hate it!

  39. Joe says:

I am not incontinence, however I love wearing diapers especially at night. The diapers I wear a a snug fit and they are the thickest, biggest and most comftorble diapers an adult can get.Because I am not incontinence I owly wet my diaper when I am semi or fully awake. I love the warmth of the piss that surrounds my body and I love the heaviness of a thickly/fully wet diaper. The feeling is so divine that it even helps me to get to sleep. Rash does not seem to effect me as I use a lot of diaper cream and baby powder. As far as poo is concerned, when I poo it feels warm and comforting to have it squished up against my body especially if I am already wet.

  40. Rockhopper says:

i know diapers are awsome tillyou wet your self in public

  41. Rockhopper says:

till you in the other story till you has a space in it

  42. Bobbiesue01 says:

I have worn cloth diapers allmy life 24/7. I’m now 64 and very happy. I wear cloth diapers 95% of the time. I wear pre-folds and at night I wear a pull up diaper that is thic all around so it dose not matter wither I’m on my side when I wet I don’t have leaks. I never know when or were I will go pee or poop it’s just happens. So going out with a diaper bag is a must. I have the greatest wife ever. She is so supportive and has always been there for me no matter what. She has changed me in just about ever way possible back of our car even on the beach one time. So as you can see I’m not like you guys but I do enjoy my diapers very much. Sex in diapers is out of this world and I have 3 kids to prove it.

  43. Josh says:

Deeng, i love waking up in a warm wet diapee, its like super comfyy. Even messing my diaper and going back to sleep for a bit is pretty comfyy

Maybe because im use to Goodnites, i just got 2 cases of bambinos so i guess we’ll see how this plays put.
