You mentioned plastic pants for helping with "poopy" diaper smell, does anyone here have recommendations on types of plastic pants? I have been looking for quality ones, havent decdided I want something plain or something a little more fun to help with the situation or both.

Follow up question: Was it apparent early on that this was a birth defect, or did you have to endure years of doctor visits, training programs, etc?

That is a great! I love reading stories like this!!
I can't imagine ever sleeping without a diaper. It makes me feel so happy! I don't even care about the bed-wetting anymore : )
But If I could take that magic pill which would 'fix' me, I would NEVER do it. I am too happy the way I am : ) and I am glad you are so happy the way you are!

More people need to learn to be happy with themselves!

Thank you for answering.
I asked you this, because I have this syndrome (I will not go into details) which cannot be cured. I learned to live with it and I started to love this part of my life. Now outsiders do not understand my attitude when I say that even if there was a therapy or medicine to heal me, I wouldn't take it.

I too am incontintnt and have been since 1978. I was hit by a car, which caused a skull fracture. It started slowly but progressed to the point that I had to start wearing protection. I now wear cloth diapers and plastic pants all of the time. It took a long time getting used to it but now I don't feel dressed not having a diaper on.

It is always nice to hear when something bad turns out to be better and sometimes have an advantage and even be good.
I think that people adapts whatever comes in there way, like incontinence. Do you think you would have liked diapers if you didn't were incontinent?
