Is that a onsie or a sleeper… i thought that onsies were the torso and crotch shirts… rompers were down to the knees, and sleepers cover the whole body (Minus the head)

AUGHH i still wanna try on a nice warm fuzzy onsie durring the holidays and go to sleep in it

And according to a friend of mine who has a playsuit or two, they’re a bit hard to take off to go to the bathroom, so that makes it all the more like a onesie.

OMG, you don’t realize how sweet and cute you look in those P. J’s! I’m getting cavities!
The daddy in me wants to plop a pink ‘binky’ in, scoop you up, put you in a crib for naptime and wait until you slowly drift off to dreamland.
Back to reality….. I read the headline and expected to see one of those extended tee-shirts that come together between the legs and have snaps. It was a pleasant surprise to see your footed pj picture!
Anyway, what exactly comes to mind when we think of what a onesie is? Footed PJs’ or the tee-shirt? Just curious.
Oh, BTW, Sylvia, I seem to remember a company Privatia or something like that. There, a cute model in a baby blue footed PJ hugging a huge teddy bear had this large button that clearly brought the drop seat flap to the viewers attention. I tried to google ‘footed pajamas privata’ and got alot of hits but could not trace back to that company. I’ll check my browser history and chime in later.
Anyway, in a nutshell, the question: Is it a onesie, a footed PJ, or even a ‘footie’?

reminds me of the sleepsuit that the baby Toby wore in the film Labyrinth “you remind me of the babe” !
