Rainy Weekend

The weekend here in the Raleigh area has been a super rainy one this weekend. Quite depressing actually. Gosh, I wish it was snow so bad instead of boring ol’ rain. I wish I lived in Washington D.C. right now where they are absolutely getting slammed with snow. As you can tell I love snow. I think the idea of being trapped inside because of snow with a fire going in the fireplace and just walking around in a t-shirt and diaper holding my favorite coffee mug is fun to me. You northerners probably hate it and its probably a nightmare but I love the “cozy” factor and there is nothing cozier than a diaper plus being warm inside knowing its cold and wintry outside. What can I say, I love snow.

It finally stopped raining today (Sunday), so its sunny here now. Still cold, but sunny. You know what is also weird – when it is sunny outside, I feel more stressed. I know isn’t that crazy. There just is something about it being sunny that makes me feel like I always need to be doing something and I get stressed. Opposed to rain, snow, thunderstorm, etc where the dark clouds and precipitation seems to have a relaxing effect on me. Maybe its just that I have been conditioned over my life to like the cold and dark weather? Since I have worn diapers my whole life I always hated the sunny and hot days because I tend to sweat more in my diaper and can sometimes get a little uncomfortable…but you don’t get that as much with diapers when its cold and not sunny outside. I don’t know, just a thought. Well, thats it for now. I might post again later. I hope everyone out there is having the weather you enjoy outside and staying diapered up.

The Next Level

So, as people can see I have once again changed my blog design due to some people informing me of browser viewing issues with my previous design. I like this design better as it is more organized clean and I find it easier to read. Still working on tweaking it though.

But, here is what I have been wondering. I really want to take this blog to a new level. I love blogging and writing and when I don’t have crazy family emergencies or whatever I can blog just about everyday even though I know I haven’t in the past week just because I got swamped which honestly rarely happens. So, I want to take this site/blog to another level. Maybe expand it to add more things and features. I hate becoming stagnant and I want to grow the site and blog to greater heights. What things would you all like I Heart Diapers add or come to? Offering products? User submitted photo gallery? More reviews? Etc? What do people think would take this blog/site to the next level. Diapers are a huge part of my life and I truly believe in spreading the word as best I can in a positive light. So, I am open ears to what people would like to see this blog become or whether they want it to just stay as it is. I would really appreciate any comments.

Twitterness

I have recently joined Twitter and in a way it is kind of addicting but I find myself almost forgetting sometimes to use it. Like, its almost like a lifestyle if you really want to take full advantage of Twitter. The whole point of Twitter is to help others keep up with what you are doing and your status which is pointless unless you do just that. I have done some twitter but I must say I am in no way keeping up with it like I should.

I was wondering whether there was any hard-core Twitter’s out there that could give me or anyone else some helpful hints on keeping up with Twitter and what exactly to talk about. I like social networking and what not so I do enjoy keeping up with everyone and letting people know to an extent what I am doing. And a lot of people seem to be into Twitter so I figured I would give it a whirl. Any other hardcore ABDL Twitterers out there willing to share a few tricks on how you manage to always keep up with your twitter?

Diapers in Professional Sports

You know what I was wondering…with all the professional athletes out there both in the USA and around the world – based on statistics atleast one if not more would either have incontinence or wear diapers.Â It is possible to wear diapers in certain sports I would imagine, probably sports like either soccer, field hockey, football, dancing, etc.Â I am sure there are tons of other professional sports where its possible.Â But you gotta think of all the professional sports players out there and the statistics on incontinence and people who wear diapers.

Even sports like volleyball, if the diaper was thin enough I guarantee you its possible.Â If you know of any professional athletes that have worn or wear diapers I would surely be interested in knowing as well as I am sure others would like to know.Â I am sure its not like a really public thing but I would bet that between all the countries that atleast one of them must wear diapers.Â Just a thought

Diaper Thickness vs. Absorbancy

I am posing a question to the community in a “just wondering” type fashion.Â Being incontinent I am more concerned about absorbancy per-se than thickness of the diaper.Â But, that is not to say I want a paper-thin diaper.Â I personally would rather a thicker diaper but not ridiculously thick.Â But, what if there was a “Diaper A” that felt thicker but absorbed less than “Diaper B” which was a little bit thinner but absorbed more.Â Now, I know answers will vary greatly on this topic but I just was curious what people thought.

My thoughts are that while I do like thickness a great deal, personally I would rather absorbancy because I am incontinent and not leaking is my primary goal.Â While, I do have a AB/DL side and that is what drives that wanting thickness feeling – my personal preference is absorbancy.Â Now, I am sure there are many “what ifs” to this question that can pose issues and there are infinite variables but I guess I am just trying to simplify it.

I love the feeling of a thick diaper between my legs and protecting my bottom but I don’t like it so thick that it makes me waddle.Â I am sure many people feel the same way in regards to this.Â I still like feeling like a sexy girl and not Donald Duck waddling everywhere.

But, I pose this question to some of you – would you sacrifice a bit of thickness for better absorbancy?

The Comfort Phenomenon

Well sorry everyone for not posting in awhile, I have just been dealing with some family things as well as enjoying the holidays.Â And I hope everyone else here had a great Thanksgiving if you live in the US.

Anyways, I thought I would post on something that I have noticed that I would almost label as a phenomenon and I am curious whether it happens to many others besides myself, Peter, and a few of our ABDL friends.Â I have noticed that when it comes to messing in diapers, even though I am incontinent, I seem to actually only mess when I am somewhere that I am comfortable or familiar with.Â Examples of places are my house, enclosed spaces, etc.Â But, when I go somewhere like a movie theatre, restaurant, store, or something along those lines I find that I actually don’t mess as much.Â Whether this is pure coincidence and timing or a real life phenomenon that you tend to poop when you are more comfortable is beyond my knowing.Â I know its easier on Peter when he doesn’t have to change one of my poopy diapers when we are out and about (not that he minds), but I must say its easier to change poopy diapers on a bed or floor rather than a restroom or car.

I am wondering if anyone else has noticed this at all.Â Though, I only probably have a small percentage of control of defecation, it is strange that I tend to mess the majority of the time at our house, the car, and for some reason enclosed spaces.Â Possibly, it may have to do if when you remember when you were a little kid and you were playing hide-and-go-seek and you were hiding, I always remembered getting nervous and peeing in my diaper while hiding.Â I don’t know if its the same concept possibly or just pure coincidence.Â All I know is I had wet diapers everytime I played hide-and-go-seek.

So, I am referring to this as a comfort phenomenon just because my theory is somehow being in a comfortable area possibly does something “chemically” inside your body possibly to stimulate digestive movements or triggers other functions that relax the bowels even more.Â Because, when I am in the comfortable place I don’t even know I pooped in my diaper most of the time because I most likely lose any small percentage of control I do have.Â But, when I have messed in my diaper in a somewhat uncomfortable or unfamiliar place I can sort of feel it come on but I can’t control it or do anything about it.Â Its honestly hard to describe this phenomenon and incontinence unless you have it but I did my best to describe it and how it feels.Â Just curious if anyone else has noticed anything similar in this respect?

Bringing Adult Diapers Mainstream

Ever since I have worn diapers even though I do not care much what others think, I have always dreamt of ways to bring the adult diaper phenomenon into mainstream society.Â I truly think it can be done.Â I would love to be able to normalize in society to a greater extent the wearing of adult diapers.Â I think this can be done.Â Signs of it are already present in societies such as Japan wear adult diapers are way more normal for such practical reasons as long train rides.Â So, why not in other places?

Though most people will not say anything if they ‘catch’ you wearing a diaper as if they have any conscious or understanding they would most likely assume its for personal health reasons.Â But, I truly believe that the adult diaper wearing notion can be brought into the limelight for more practical reasons and deserve more understandings.

This not only requires a mindset change from people outside the community but also a ABDL community effort to represent adult diapers and the wearing of adult diapers in a more light hearted and practical manner.Â It will require a grassroots campaign from everyone from diaper product makers such as Bambino Diapers to the community of ABDL’s.Â I am determined to bring the ABDL community into a better light with mainstream society and I plan to make great efforts to do this.Â I will be keeping everyone updated on things I will be doing and have done on my blog so stay tuned because this is going to happen – I am determined.

Stomach Bug and Diapers in Public

I think I have some terrible stomach bug tonight cause I Feel so so so so sick. I came home from work feeling fine just a few hours ago, then I made some spagetti and Peter and I ate when he got home. About 30 minutes after I finished the dinner I was so sick. Peter could barley even handle changing my diapers it is so bad and so far he has had to change them THREE TIMES! I feel really bad for him right now but I have no idea what is making me so sick! Hopefully this bug will pass soon though so I can get up off this changing pad and go back to doing my normal routine! Peter and I are going to have to take our trash out tonight that is for sure!

Work seemed really really long today. I was busy but for some reason everytime I looked at the clock only 3 minutes had past. But thankfully it is over and we are so so so so close to the weekend I can finally feel it now! I hope everyone is having a great week..so I had a question for my readers because I want really badly for my readers to get more involved…Has anyone seen your diaper in pbulic? and what has been the reactions? Peter and I’s diapers are seen a lot in public and honestly thus far we have never got any rude comments or anyone even asking, for the most part people just leave it alone. So i’m just curious what you all have experienced!

Easier way to Change?

Wow today was a long day, luckily it is coming to an end but I still have work to do for an upcoming presentation I have! Ugh.. I am trying not to put it off so late this time! Peter is in the shower right now and I’m getting his diaper ready so that when he gets out he can just lay down and put it on. He brought me lunch today to work which was really really nice of him. He drives 30 minutes just to give me lunch on his break and then comes back. Normally he will change me too but I was out of diapers and he forgot to bring extra but thats okay I made it home without any leaks to report of!

I had a question for my readers though – sometimes when peter and I both are changing each others diapers if they are messy it is really hard for us to get it cleaned off. It either sticks there or it just seems to take forever or we have to scrub our skin so hard that its raw..does anyone know any good idea or products that help to make this process either? I am afraid that poor Peter’s bottom is going to be raw here soon If i don’t find a better way to do because of how hard I have to scrub his bottom to get him clean…

Diaper Rash

I have had the worst diaper rash today that I have had in a long long time. I don’t know what really started it but I have been at work and I could barely sit down. One of the reasons I haven’t posted yet was because I have gotten to the point where it is even hard to walk so I end up just sitting in one place doing work because it feels better than trying to move and getting the irritation again. peter went out a little earlier to get me some new medicine for it a bunch of different creams so we are going to keep trying them and see which ones work. I feel bad for Peter because he is basically having to do everything for me but it just hurts so bad. I wonder if this is normal – has anyone else had diaper rash real real bad ever?

I am really excited for tomorrow! It is finally Friday which means Peter and I’s weekend of doing whatever we want whenever we want is HERE! we are not traveling anywhere or doing anything anyone else wants us to do it is just me and him! I AM REALLY EXCITED!! alright well I’m heading to bed early tonight…Goodnight loves! hugs!
