Hey Everyone, Its Kay!

Hi everyone!
As Adrian mentioned a few posts back, my name is Kay and I wear diapers 24/7. I will be posting as a guest on Adrianne’s blog on occasion and want to use this first opportunity to delve into why I wear diapers 24/7 and my experiences and transition into diapers.

I have, and have always had a relatively small bladder and an overactive bladder at that. Leaks and discomfort were a part of my every day life, and I accepted that as normal. That was, until, about a year ago, I was introduced to the option of wearing adult diapers as a solution to my bladder problems. I was a bit nervous at first and wasn’t sure if wearing diapers was for me. But I was also curious and tired of the minor bladder mishaps discomfort that were becoming a part of my every day life. I began wearing diapers at home and on my commute to and from work. Slowly I began to build confidence in diapers and began to wear them at work as well. It was amazing! I no longer had to worry about how much and what I was drinking during the day for fear that I would spend most of my day needing to or going to the bathroom.

I began wearing diapers 24/7 about four months ago with the intent of allowing myself to relax and to have decreasing amounts of control over my bladder. Essentially I am working toward incontinence with the hope that it will make larger wettings less frequent and allow for me to pass liquids through my body without the discomfort of pressure in my bladder. Because I pretty much always had to go to the bathroom before my introduction to diapers, regardless of amount of fluids consumed, the challenge for me is more mental than physical, teaching myself to relax and not hold on to anything â€“ not to be afraid to wet my diaper in any public or private setting. I have made some great progress over the past few months and am having a lot of fun experimenting with diferent diapers, learning what materials, absorbancies and styles I like. I feel healthier and happier than ever and feel that I owe those feelings, not only to diapers, but to the person in my life that introduced me to wearing them. I heart diapers!

Hurricane

First of all thank you all for you kind comments about the rude people out there. I know I shouldn’t let them bother me – and honestly they really don’t but it just annoys me that people can be that stupid! I just don’t understand why people in the ABDL community are so critical, I Just feel like we should all be working together and with one another instead of trying to be rude or against each other. Just doesn’t make sense to me I guess!

Peter and I are getting ready to go out and have a night to ourselves – we haven’t had one of those! i’m wearing a new dress that I got recently and it is super cute because you can see my diaper throught it! It’s not like completely see through but Peter can see it and he loves it! I am going to surprise him with wearing it since we don’t have too much time left of the warm weather! I am excited – not sure what we are going to do yet! Peter is nervous because he has a bunch of family in Texas where the hurricane is getting ready to come through! He has a bunch of family down there so we are trying to keep in touch and there is a chance that they are going to come stay with us! who knows!

Soft Bottom :)

Exhausted. that pretty much describes me right now! I just feel so worn out and I am afriad I may be getting sick I’m really hoping not though! Peter and I went for a walk today after work it was nice to get out but the whole time I just felt a lot more tired than normal and I kept getting hot flashes. I’m just keeping my fingers crossed!

This is not really diaper related but I have begun using that Johnson’s baby oil for my skin and i LOVE it! I went and bought some the other night after reading online that it helps your skin! After I get out of the shower I put it on even before I dry off and it makes me feel so much better! I am having Peter start putting it on my bottom too after I have been changed. it makes me feel really soft and I like having a soft baby like bottom But if anyone has dry skin like me..it is well worth it and it will even help your bottom!

Alright well off for an early bed to hopefully keep the sickness from coming my way! Hugs!

Biting my nails!

I am taking a quick break and pulling myself away from the Florida vs. Miami game to post real fast! haha I really am biting my nails at this one cause at this point we are winning but I would say it is still anyone’s game! Peter and I are having fun just sitting around in our diapers, drinking beer, and watching the game! hehe it is so relaxing and so much fun! Anyways so keep me in your thoughts becuase the next hour or so is going to be kind of stressful! Peter pulls for Florida but deep down he is a Texas Longhorns fan so he is not always a Florida fan but in games like this he will pull for them for me!

I read someone had commented about Gold Bond Medicated powder! I have used that to – actually Peter and I both have when we have had some diaper rash! it feels really weird at first when it starts to cool you down but then after a few minutes it is so soothing and really helps to take away the irriation! its good but not something to use all the time! So yes I agree about that!

Flat Messy Morning!

Well lets just say this morning didn’t start out quite like I would have wanted! To start… I had a flat tire this mroning which I did not notice until several miles down the road so I was stranded Something you will learn about me is that I get very sick and scared when I am in high stress situations – I called Peter and he came out to help me but by that time I already had a very messy diaper from the nerves! My stomach was all torn apart! It was another hour and a half before the tow truck could come and tow my car and I didn’t even end up getting to work until sometime after lunch! When I got there I THEN Remembered that the stash of diapers that I had kept in my filing cabinet for “emergencies” was no longer there. I had run out several weeks ago and had never gone and refilled it – I am such a procrastinator!!!! Peter being the sweetheart that he is came out with an extra diaper that he keeps in his car for situations such as this and changed me in the bathroom before heading back to work I don’t know how he takes care of me the way he does – but he is PERFECT!!! But yea.. I just got home from work and NOW i need to find something to make or do that will thank peter for all that he did for me today! He is amazing! hehe

Get Away

Welp im sorry for the slight delay in postings but Peter surprised me and took me up to the mountains this weekend for one night to just relax and get away for a while! It wasn’t anything super fancy but we loved every minute of it and it was great to get away from all the craziness around here!

I am working again to redesign the blog and eventually I am going to break this away from IMABDL to make it its own site (don’t worry there is no fee or anything) I just wanted something seperate and on its own. so I am excited about that and it is something for everyone to keep a look out for! but don’t worry I won’t let anyone not know where to go!

I hope everyone enjoyed the first weekend of football! I know I did! It is fun because there is always somethign on TV for me to watch. But in the process of watching football this weekend and going to the mountains Peter and I went through an entire 2 packs of diapers! Yea….it was a messy weekend! well off to shower…Hugs!

well first off i want to say.. GO GATORS!! Even though the game is not over techincally.. I would say that we are going to win I never had any doubt! Watch out – national champions are coming!! Haha okay I am sure I am going to get some shit about that..but hey they are my team what can i say!?

I want to respond to a question that a reader asked..they asked me about if Peter and I mind if people notice our diapers or if we try to hide it. Of course, we never try to hide it! The only time that I tend to be discreet about my diaper is at work because of the high professionality (don’t know if that is a word) required at my job. When we are out in public we don’t mind if anyone sees and sometimes I’ll even wear tight or somewhat revealing things because I know Peter enjoys that hehe I hope everyone has a great Saturday and hopefully a relaxing long weekend!! Hugs!

Working for the Weekend!

Got off work a bit early today! which was good because I was feeling really dragy today! I don’t even think that is a word but you know what I mean NO matter how hard I worked i just felt like the day was never going to end and that I wasn’t getting anything productive done. It doesn’t help that half my office will be out tomorrow for the early holiday but not me, Peter and I aren’t excactly int he place right now to be able to take a vacation and I by all means need to be working the extra days! so o well! we can still find fun things to do on these small breaks – we are a big fan of taking day trips places which saves us the overnight costs

I will be posting pictures of my new onsie very soon! I’m sorry I haven’t yet but they are coming I can promise you that! It has just been a crazy week and I honestly have not gotten around to it! I am very excited to take pictures and share them with you because it makes me feel like I am letting people into my life and to understand and see a little bit more of who I am! Its fun off to take the dogs for a walk! Hugs!

Mini Vacation?

So Peter and I are trying to figure out what we are going to do during the long weekend coming up! We rarley have time off together so this is a big deal for us! We were thinking about just going up and going camping for a few nights and doing some camping, but I’m not sure i can talk Peter into that! I think it would be fun and I am sure we could get in a lot of good pictures with that haha Peter and I took some GREAT pictures the other afternoon – we were outside at a play ground I will try and post one soon but I am posting them all on IMABDL.com!

I know I said Peter would be getting back to his blog and I promise he will soon! He just takes a little mroe convincing than me he really felt like his blog was pointless but I am slowly convincing him that that isn’t true!

Dog Baths and Onsies :)

Well tonight when I got home from work I decided to give our dogs a bath cause they are nasty! I filled up the little plastic swimming pool we have and got the dogs outside – it took me over 2 hours to get them clean and by the time I was done I was soaked down to my skin through my diaper! it was ridiculous! Peter got home and just started to laugh – i knew I should have waited for him to get home to help but i had a feeling he wouldnt’ be in the mood for it

I ordered a new onsie today I am really excited about it! It is light pink and then i ordered a new one for Peter as a surprise – it has animals on it like circus animals it is really cute and I think he is going to like it a lot i can’t wait for it to come in! it came from overseas though – so not sure how long that will take! they just seem to have a lot nicer things in other countries! well off to get ready for bed! Hugs!
