There has been a lot of negativity lately in the world and I see it every day with people lacking confidence and feeling down on themselves. I have talked with several people in the adult baby and diaper lover world and over time have noticed a trend of people being very down on themselves and judging themselves for having/wanting to wear diapers. I just wanted to make this post a positive one and maybe one that will help some people.

Diapers don’t and should not define you. They are merely a part of your life – one single part. Once you realize that then you can start helping yourself. There are so many things that define you and diapers are merely one part. Everyone is unique in their own way and you should not let one or two things define your self-worth. People are going to judge you every day of your life unfortunately and once you learn to not care so much what others think too much you can also start to help yourself. You are BEAUTIFUL inside and out. There are a lot of things out there 100 times worse what you could be doing such as drugs, drinking, etc. Diapers can be a positive aspect of your life if you let it and don’t feel guilty for it being part of your life. Where you can get yourself into trouble I have found is when you start letting it affect your social life and encompassing your thoughts.

Answer this question to yourself…do you find yourself wanting to stay in on a Friday or Saturday night so you can just wear diapers and mess around in them instead of going out with friends or something social? If your answer to this is “yes” then you may need to reevaluate how you are handling the diaper aspect of your life. You do not want to let something like this consume your life and keep you from being social and keep you from your relationships. All these things have an effect on your sense of well being and confidence.

Life is just too short to beat yourself up over your looks or little nuances that you think are so different then everybody else. Everybody has quirky things about them, not weird – but quirky. Because what I define as weird could be totally different then what somebody else does. But, quirky is a universal term where whatever it is could be “different” but not weird. Different is a subjective term also but most people can define “different” from “weird” in their own mind. The fact is, everybody has their quirks and how you choose to view your quirks whether it is diapers or anything else can have an impact on your self-worth and confidence. So, starting today – take a look at yourself and find the positives in your life and start looking at your quirky things as something that defines you as unique rather than different. Put a positive spin on it and be confident in yourself that God made you unique and you have a purpose. You are beautiful inside and out…so be confident in yourself!

Urinary incontinence is a major problem for millions of people around the world. Just recently Botox, yes the stuff used in people’s faces to smooth away wrinkles and what not, was approved for use in patients with neurological issues that suffer from incontinence. Here is a link to the article: Botox Approved for Urinary Incontinence. But, basically I read up on how it works and its the same idea as smoothing away wrinkles except instead of “relaxing” skin it is “relaxing” the bladder. You would think that by relaxing the bladder that it would cause you to pee but quite the opposite. In order to urinate, your bladder actually contracts instead of relaxes. So, by injecting Botox it causes the bladder to relax and thus decreasing the incontinence episodes for those with neurological issues that suffer from incontinence.

The approval is quite limited to only those that are neurological patients such as spinal cord injuries or multiple sclerosis. This wouldn’t apply to the average woman or man suffering from incontinence. But, I personally think this is a good thing even though I am not one of those people that believes in medicating up and drugs. I am a very “natural” person and don’t like overloading my body with medications, drugs, etc. I try to eat organically and healthy as much as I can so the idea of injecting Botox (which is really just a form of Botulism Toxin) – yes Botulism – the same thing that can cause paralysis from eating under-cooked meat, into my body is just absolutely never going to happen for any reason even if deemed safe. But, I think for those who suffer from incontinence that have multiple sclerosis and other neurological conditions that this can be very beneficial to them when the least of their worries is putting a “safe” form of botulism toxin into their body. Modern medicine has some major polar opposites in my opinion in that I believe that a lot of things will do more harm than good, especially in the long term, but then when it comes to modern innovations of medicine such as this that can provide relief for parents and individuals suffering from incontinence in disabled people – this can provide some significant relief.

You have to think about the benefits and ramifications this has for say the parents of these disabled persons. By reducing the amount of urinary incontinence episodes of these individuals not only does wonders for the child or person but also can save the parents money in catheter changing costs and/or adult diaper costs. It reduces the amount of times someone will use their diaper so reduces the amount of diapers that the parent has to pay for in the long term and thus saves the parent’s money. I don’t know – I can appreciate the small benefits that people may not think of like that.

Just because I have embraced my incontinence (both urinary and fecal) and have learned to make the best of the situation and attribute it a lot to the person I am today does not mean I don’t think others should have to suffer if they do not accept it or find it a huge burden in their life. I am all for individual choices and though I have made mine and would not change a thing – I am all about helping others if they want help even if they do not accept incontinence or consider it a meaningful part of their life like I do. So, when I see little news bits like this – I can truly APPRECIATE the benefits that something like this can have on thousands of families in the United States who have children that suffer from incontinence that have neurological conditions. I can just see the parents reading this same news and just getting a glimmer of hope that they can benefit from this.

In my opinion, note MY OPINION, an adult baby is one that is considered 18+, classified themselves as an adult baby, and engages in adult baby activity. That is fine and dandy as well as easy to classify them in my opinion. The line becomes a bit blurred when we are referring to teenagers that engage in such activity like wearing diapers and acting like a baby. People will argue all day that there should be a place for teenagers to converse online for this kind of activity…and I AGREE with that idea; BUT, I agree ONLY if it were only teenagers which is impossible in the internet day and age. Thus, I do not support sites that actively ‘advertise’ themselves to the younger crowd or as people who are 18+ refer to them legally as – underage.

You can argue with me and make yourselves feel better all day long until you are blue in the face but the fact is that sites that ACTIVELY advertise themselves as conversational forums for younger than 18 (teenagers) are wrong in this day and age and ESPECIALLY for the ABDL community. Of course I am referring to ADISC – who blatantly caters to the ‘younger’ crowd which in MY opinion is wrong…if you want to argue, trust me you are wasting your breath. Now, some people will say but sites like DailyDiapers has teenagers on it as well – which you are CORRECT. BUT, there is a big difference – DailyDiapers does not cater nor actively advertises themselves or is known for hosting younger than 18 year old content whether it is discussion, photos, etc. That is a big difference whether you like it or not.

Everyone is correct in saying that older people will sometimes say they are younger and younger people will lie and say they are older just to gain access or what not to a forum. That is the internet, unfortunately. But, the difference comes from a site that caters and harbors that and a site that does not. There in lies my problem with sites like ADISC…of course, people are around that age don’t understand that yet and appreciate a place like that but don’t fully comprehend the dangers that can occur there both illegally and morally. Not to mention it CAN make bad press for the ABDL community.

So where do teenagers that wear diapers or what not fit into the whole ABDL community online? Good question…because I honestly have no idea. I recognize they need a place for support but I don’t condone sites that actively harbor content on the internet that are geared to underage people in the ABDL content…period. There are too many risks, liabilities, etc etc. Maybe, it is the materal instinct in me that I feel so strongly about this – I have no idea but I just think its wrong. It only takes one bad apple in a forum to cause some really terrible things and sites that promote themselves actively for teenagers to converse in an adult baby type context are just breeding grounds for something bad to happen. Maybe, nothing bad as ever happened from a site like ADISC or maybe it has? Maybe you haven’t heard about it? Does that matter whether you have or haven’t? Do you want to take that risk? These are questions you should be considering. Of course, there are a few other sites similar to ADISC, but it is just one of the bigger ones.

I am sure there will be some backlash from this post like there always is both here and on there site. I am sure they will say the same old thing about me as they always do and that is fine…it becomes comical to me that some of them actually think I care or it affects me. As always, I say what I feel and I am forward – you don’t like it – well that’s fine. Facts are facts…places that in anyway cater to those under the age of 18 years old especially in the context of something like ABDLism – will only be a matter of time if it already hasn’t happened that something regrettable, unfortunate, and disgusting will happen. Bring on the arguments

I want to wish everyone a Happy Post-Thanksgiving…I am a little late on it since I was busy with Thanksgiving yesterday…had to cook for a lot of people. Anyways, I just wanted to write a post about being thankful for what God has given you and who you are. When you are feeling down about yourself then I encourage you to come back and read this post over and over again as I think it will give you some perspective.

First, life isn’t always fair…that is the fact of life. People are dealt different cards in life but what makes your life great is how you play those cards. You could be dealt a tough set of cards but if you approach those cards in the right mind and perspective then you can make your life happier and more worthwhile than someone dealt a lot better set of cards than you. God has given each one of us separate identities, thoughts, actions, personalities, etc. That is what you must come to realize – that you are not a mistake! You are what God made you and you should be thankful for that.

When I was born with a structural form of incontinence virtually making my incontinence incurable…I could have thought God made a mistake with me but that is not the case. God made me for a purpose and I am thankful for that. I have managed my incontinence fine with adult diapers and I have been able to have positive effects on a lot of people I have come in contact with in regards to my experience. When you think that you have it bad or you are going through a tough time in your life – then, think of those people that most likely have it harder than you. I know when I am having a hard time and think my life is tough I always think of those kids you see on TV from Africa they show roaming around with no home, no food, etc. I just think that my life could be like that where each day I am just trying to survive rather than whatever meager problem I am having. It is how I stay positive.

If someone wants to make fun of me for having to wear diapers…OK…how is that in anyway going to harm me? I am thankful for who I am and you should be too! Whether you are incontinent, enjoy wearing diapers, or whatever just know that God made you a certain way and has led you to this point…how you choose to play YOUR cards is up to you on whether you want to look at it from a positive light or a negative light is up to YOU. But, trust me when you think you have it tough – there is always someone with something worse! Always!

So, please be thankful for what you have and what God has given you both physically, mentally, and spiritually. I am thankful for who I am and what I have become and wouldn’t change a thing! I am thankful for the life I have. And you should be too! You are beautiful inside and out – just know that! Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

There has been a lot of “Hooplah” over these so called bridal diapers and honestly I am not sure why. I guess to many the idea of a “normal” bride/woman wearing a diaper in a wedding dress is a nice thought. I won’t say it hasn’t been done before but by no means do I think it is commonplace or even considered. I would say probably less than .2% of all brides wear a diaper. Sure, you may here anecdotes about so and so doing it but I assure you these are extremely isolated. Here is my reasoning:

As a woman, on your wedding day you want to feel sexy, beautiful, elegant, and clean. The last thing a woman wants to do is put on a diaper which is normally associated with probably not being sexy or beautiful or elegant and probably not clean to the average person. I think even if a bride was concerned about going to the bathroom that they would rather not put on a diaper and risk something like that.

Personally, I will be wearing a diaper on my wedding day but my wedding dress allows for a sense of discreetness. I will also be wearing a very thin and probably cloth diaper because at least on my wedding day I do not want to crinkle or for it to be that obvious that I wear diapers. Any other day I could care less, but on my wedding day I would rather people that I may not know super well or know me be more focused on “is that a diaper?” then just on me and how I look. I am very traditional and I want to feel pretty and beautiful and not like everyone is gawking at me that doesn’t know me.

I think bridal diapers are probably used only for special circumstances and I mean really special circumstances. Unless the bride is incontinent or quirky then I doubt she will risk something like that on her wedding day just for the simple fact that she wants everything to be perfect and wants to feel beautiful, sexy, elegant, etc. Which, a diaper is not the first thing the average person associates with those things. Just my thoughts!

So, I know I haven’t posted in a while – been busy with some family things and personal issues. But, hopefully all that is done and I am good to go. I wanted to write a post on the premium adult diaper industry in general.

The adult diaper industry is huge. I mean huge. The premium adult diaper industry though is big but not big as in variety. There are only several huge adult diaper companies that actually put out a “premium” adult type diaper. When I refer to premium, I am referring to the heavy duty type adult diapers that are meant for big messes

If you really think about just how many truly “premium” adult diapers there are – it really is not that many and you start to see the lack of variety. You can probably name them on one hand: Abena X-Plus, Bambino Diapers, Secure Personal Care, ABUniverse, Molicare, and maybe Unique Wellness Brief and Dry 24/7. Those are the big time premium adult diapers on the market. What is also funny if you look at this list is that only 3 of those are truly American made adult diapers (Bambino and Secure)…which raises a question on why there are so few premium adult diaper manufacturers in the United States? Abena I believe is German, ABUniverse is manufactured outside of the United States, Unique Wellness Briefs are out of I believe Australia originally, etc. I left out Tranquility ATN because I don’t consider it on the same level as these adult diapers. I believe Molicare may be manufactured in the United States but was originally created over seas somewhere…at least I remember someone saying that somewhere…so don’t quote me on that.

I recognize that the premium adult diapers are made for a special population and not everyone needs such a heavy duty adult diaper. But, I think the manufacturers are really missing out on a specialized and focused group. Now, the one thing I can think of that may keep some manufacturers away from producing a premium diaper especially for the ABDL type people is the mass complaint system and small room for error. Consider this, Bambino Diapers does just that – they created a specialized adult diaper for the ABDL community mainly – fortunately, there product is really good and amazing but that does not keep the few that despise them for some reason to make it their mission to badmouth Bambino Diapers. When you have a specialized group and one person chooses to be immature that can really hurt a company that specifically caters to a smaller selection of people. So, it is risky for companies I would imagine to create a premium adult diaper for such specialized communities and/or groups when a few people who decide to be immature just plain don’t like the diaper or prefer another one over that one but want to badmouth about it to others for no reason. The same can be said for Abena – some people hate Abena products because of the tapes but the fact is that Abena makes very good products as well but a minor issue such as sometimes their tapes can be difficult cause people to go off on tangents about how terrible of a diaper it is – which is obvious not true. So, I would imagine that some companies think it is a risky operation to cater to such specialized groups which is why you don’t find so many “premium” type adult diapers.

Fortunately, the ABDL community and others can be thankful that a select few companies have decided to either cater to us or continue to manufacture a good premium product that can be used in the adult baby and diaper lover community. I know my thoughts are a bit sporadic today and you will have to forgive me on that – I sort of just type out what I think sometimes. And, I just think sometimes we may be a little too harsh on certain companies when it may be just because of a bad batch of adult diapers or small little inconsistencies that are normal in the manufacturing process. Little problems like that should not cause us to hate a product. I can understand big problems like a diaper ripping all the time, switching to cloth, poor customer service, etc. Those reasons I can understand for complaining but we as a specialized community should not be so quick to complain and crucify these companies that actively support us and provide great products whether it is specifically for us or not. I mean can you imagine what diapers you would be stuck with if we didn’t have Bambino Diapers, Secure, Abena, Molicare, or the other premium adult diapers. I am not hating on Depends or anything but I don’t know about you – but I don’t want to be relegated to using Depends or Attends the rest of my life and always worrying about leaks and all the other problems that come with the cheaper adult diapers. Just my thoughts!

OK, so I know this post is completely off-topic but I just had to vent my opinion on this. As much as I think Michael Jackson was a terrific actor/performer and did more than anyone else could do for the music industry – his family is absolutely the most disgusting people out there. Michael was all about the fans and wanting to make everyone else happy – but, his whole family is just money-hungry and looking for attention. We may never know exactly what happened to Michael Jackson that led to his death but what if it was just completely accidental…I mean, Joe Jackson last night on Larry King Live talking about conspiracy this and conspiracy that. These people are just trying to stir the pot. This is exactly how possibly innocent people get demonized in this society. Every time I turn around they are doing some stupid interview and talking about the same garbage…and you better believe they are getting paid to do these interviews. I understand they want “justice” for their son/brother/whatever but there might not be this huge conspiracy and what not they are talking about. His family I think is just stretching this out because the more publicity, controversy, whatever they cause = more money for them. Its really unfortunate because Michael Jackson was completely opposite from his greedy family members. His family members aren’t humble nor do they use any sense of compassion. They don’t care if they ruin other people’s lives possibly by dragging and calling out all these people in Jackson’s life just because they are theorizing some mass conspiracy. Lets just slander everyone’s name with little proof of anything just because I don’t like these people.

OK, I am done venting. I could rant all day about the specifics and more about Michael Jackson’s family but I would just be boring you I know, completely off topic but some people want to know what I think about outside of the ABDL world and well this is just one of those things that disgusts me because I feel Michael Jackson’s family is completely emberrassing what Michael Jackson stood for.

My opinion of people who wear diapers and are not incontinent is not negative at all. Just because I am incontinent does not mean I don’t enjoy the same thing about wearing diapers as the rest of the community. While, I came to love diapers probably in a different way than most of you as I grew up wearing them while many other ABDLs stumbled upon them or somehow found a love for wearing diapers. While, I don’t regard my love for diapers as “fetish” because I do not focus on them or see them as a sexual object or in a sexual way. I see it as more of enjoyment, fun, comfort, security, and also a little bit of fashion! But, I recognize many people in the community do not see it like this solely and do see it in a more sexual way or in other ways. I am a very free and open person and I do not judge others. My opinion of people who wear diapers that don’t need them is that I am happy for you and glad you found something that makes you feel good, so long as you are not hurting anyone else. I am a big believer in not letting diapers or any other “fetish” or what not cause a major hindrance on your social life.

I have a strong connection to the ABDL community and I find us very different from other communities. This adult baby and diaper lover community is different kind of community because it doesn’t completely center around sexual connotations and ideas. Many people who wear diapers are just doing it for the comfort, security, sounds, etc. This is a far-cry from many other “fetish” or communities in my opinion because they focus more on the sexual side while the ABDL community does not focus on that as much. Which, in my opinion makes us special and an outlier among all the communities. I am honestly proud to be part of the ABDL community and to meet so many wonderful people. And because I am feeling good – I included a recent photo below!

Since I am sitting at work right now I figured I would blog about what it’s like wearing a diaper at work while I am actually doing it. Well, I must say it’s very comforting when you first get into work and know that you have a nice fresh diaper on that will protect you the rest of the day. Plus, it provides a little bit of a cushion for those people like me that are sitting a significant portion of the day. Also, I will say I am the type of person that sort of likes to hear that crinkle sound of the diaper when you get up or walking down the hall. I find it is loud enough for me to hear but not loud enough for really others to take notice.

For those of you scared to wear to work – I would say it’s almost impossible to be caught unless you try. Now, I am sure this depends on your profession but tucking in your shirt and typical work pants or jeans are typically good enough at concealing the diaper and most of the noise while allowing you to get the satisfaction of wearing a diaper to work. If you have any questions about wearing a diaper to work then feel free to ask.

Wearing a diaper to work in my opinion almost increases productivity because it just makes you feel good and when you are comforted and feel good then I find I do my work quicker and more efficient. Not to mention the fact it saves you trips to the restroom especiall if it is not conveniently available to you (I.e right across the hall). Just my two cents though – thoughts?

I have been meaning to write about this topic for some time now but never got around to it because I always thought of something else or had something else to write. But, first off, some people seem to think that just because I am incontinent means that the whole “diaper loving” thing goes out the window and does not exist for me. They are correct AT FIRST, when I was younger I will admit that diapers were a burden on me but then coming to the realization that they were going to be a part of my life – you learn to deal with something and make the absolute best out of it. So, slowly from between middle school and the end of high school I became more and more accepting and loving of diapers. And, it just grew from there. So, the aspects that many typical diaper lovers and adult babies enjoy – I enjoy most of them as well. I love the feeling of a wet diaper, having a diaper change, the crinkle noise, and the feel of a messy diaper. I am going to try and describe what it is about a messy diaper that I like and makes me feel satisfied, I guess you could say.

A messy diaper for many is probably is the ultimate babyish feeling when wearing diapers because it represents the ultimate loss of control and needing to be changed. That is probably one of the main reasons I love the feeling of a messy diaper. When you mess in your diaper its a feeling of satisfaction because now you have done the ultimate babyish thing. There you are sitting in a poopy diaper needing someone to change you. I like that feeling. I am lucky that I have Peter to be there whenever I do accidentally poop my diaper. He makes sure to take care of everything because he knows I like when he takes control in situations like that. So, here is how it goes down a lot of times. I come home from work and typically he gets home before I do so he is watching TV (usually sports lol) and I just come in and put my stuff down and kiss him “Hello”. Then, I usually get on the computer and check everything and for some reason that period of the day (evening) is a trigger for something in me to poop. Sometimes I feel it kind of coming and sometimes I don’t – if you don’t have fecal incontinence then its an extremely hard feeling to describe when you have to poop. You can’t control it but sometimes know it is coming. So, that is a big time when I mess my diaper and Peter knows to check me a lot of times around that time based on history. So, I will go start making dinner and he will usually wander into the kitchen and pull back my diaper and check me. Which, by the way is probably one of my FAVORITE feelings is just the act of having him check me. Then, when he knows I pooped my diaper he will let me finish what I am doing and change me. But, I will say that I don’t like being in a poopy diaper too long because it can get uncomfortable and I am not the biggest fan of the smell. I like the bulky feeling at first but once you start moving around and sit down and a few times – it can become uncomfortable with the fecal matter against my butt. So, I typically like to be changed if possible within 30-40 minutes of messing my diaper. But, it is more the satisfaction of feeling babyish and the needing to be changed that really makes me love it. I mean, I do like the feeling of a poopy diaper physically, but I like the babyish mentality of it more. Sort of hard to describe, honestly. But, hopefully I got my point across…Oh, and hopefully you enjoyed the photo I included with this post.
