Attends Waistband Diapers Review
Attends have always been one of the most famous diapers out there for diaper lovers. Granted, the old Attends were way better than the new attends. The old attends with their 3 blue tapes and soft outer covering and a lot thicker than the newer attends. Perfection right? Yep, they were one of the best diapers of the time. But, now Attends has multiple different styles of attends and today I am going to review one of my favorite Attends diaper in the diaper line.
Attends with waistband have 3 tapes on either side and a nice waistband to hold the diaper closer to your body. They fit well and I have never experienced the cutting into my legs from the leg gatherings that many other diapers have done to me. They aren’t the thickest of diapers but are thicker than depends but thinner than Bambino diapers. They are a perfect diaper to wear to work or out to dinner or whatever you may be doing which is why they are my #1 normal diaper that I wear around. Bambino’s are probably my favorite diaper but in regards to wearing a diaper around the majority of the time – its this diaper. It is plastic-backed meaning it does NOT have the cloth-outer covering that I hate so much. I like to hear the crinkle and let me tell you – this diaper knows how to crinkle. In regards to how much the diaper can hold I would say it can hold 2 good wettings before you need to change which is probably pretty good for most people that don’t unleash a million floods on their diaper. In regards to pooping in the diaper, it has ample space for the poopy to go (granted not as much as Bambino) but plenty. The diaper is soft plastic, not as soft as the soft as the old one, but soft. In my honest opinion, if you are looking for a good everyday diaper than this would be a phenomenal choice as its not too thin but not too thick either – it can be easily hidden under clothes. If I were rating it on a overall scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being the best I would probably give it a 3.75.

Thanks for this review! My only question is in regards to the “sit down” leak test: Does it hold up well if you have a pee AND a poop in them and you sit? (personal experience testimony would be great!)
Sam: Personal experience, I haven’t ever had any leak from a “sit down” test unless I had wet it more than 2 times and even then it only leaked sometimes. In regards to poop, I have never leaked that – but then again, every diaper has its limits and I am sure if someone absolutely just “unloaded” on their diaper than it might be a different story if you sit down.
THanks! I will try them and the Bambinos. I think the Bambinos are more my style, and holding more, um, “solids”, securely, is important to me. But when I know it’ll be a long time before I poop again, I would like to have a thinner diaper, like the Attends, so I may get into a routine of using both. I try to change as soon as possible after a poop, because there’s nothing as icky as cold poop in ones diaper if you HAVE to sit in it- like to drive home.
Thanks again,
Samantha
So im very interested in trying these diapers out. I have worn diapers for the past 8 years or so and i finally want to go buy some of these diapers. but im not sure how im going to do it with me living with my parents
Just to clarify these are NOT the extended wear briefs, correct???
They’ve got nothing on molicares or abri form xplus, but they are a good choice. Paranoia is a very dangerous thing and honestly nobody knows if I’m wearing a molicare – even under an average skirt. People’s minds just don’t go there.
the uk version/european version of the attends are 2 tape a side and start off thin but swell up very thick, but take more than abena x plus, don’t clump, and are like pure gel.
extremely comfy and very good fit.
my fav diaper that i give 10/10

When I first tried Attends Briefs (diapers), they were bulkier than they are now. They had plastic outer cover instead of the cloth style cover that make the diaper look awful! I believe that a diaper, even adult diapers should have plastic outer shell, instead of cloth cover. Why they changed to cloth is beyond me.
